I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS VEHICLE STOPPING FOR THE PASSENGERS AND THOSE DRIVING IN THE PROXIMATY OF THIS VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT OF INFINITI SUGGESED THAT I CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU OR FILE A LEMON LAW CASE FOR THE STATE OF ARIZONA. THEY SAID THE CAR HAS NOT HAD ENOUGH REPAIRS AT THIS TIME. I STATED THAT OTHER OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE ARE HAVING BRAKES REPLACED AT AN ALARMING RATE. THE EDMONDS AND YAHOO WEBSITES VERIFY THIS EXPERIENCE AND YET NO LETTERS HAVE BEEN SENT TO OWNERS OF THE QX56 MODEL. I OWN A 2001 INFINITI I30. I HAVE A RECURRENT PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKES ON THIS CAR. THE CAR SHAKES SO MUCH WHEN I'M BRAKING DRIVING AT AROUND 65 MPH. IT MAKES ME VERY NERVOUS BECAUSE I HAVE A TWO-YEAR-OLD CHILD IN THE BACK SEAT. I HAVE TAKEN IT BACK TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES. THE FIRST TIME WAS WHEN THE CAR WAS ONLY ABOUT A COUPLE YEARS OLD. ... HE ROTOR AND THE BRAKES FOR ME WITHOUT CHARGE. THE SERVICE PERSON AGREED THAT THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL. THE THIRD TIME I TOOK MY CAR BACK, THEY REFUSED TO FIX IT WITHOUT CHARGING ME. AND THE NEW SERVICE PERSONNEL THAT WAS THERE DENIED THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE BRAKING/ROTOR SYSTEM OF THIS MODEL. I HAVE RESEARCHED A LITTLE BIT MORE, AND HAVE FOUND THAT OTHER CAR OWNERS HAVE ALSO HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THIS MODEL. I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT TO GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED. IF I HAVE TO PAY TO FIX THE ROTOR/BRAKES PROBLEM EVERY YEAR, THEN THAT WOULD BE VERY EXPENSIVE. THE FACTORY STANDARD RADIO HAD A DISPLAY SYSTEM WHICH INFINITI LABELED AS RDS.
