AFTER PARKING MY CAR IN A PARKING LOT, I WANTED TO ADJUST IT TO BE MORE EVEN. SO I TURNED THE ENGINE ON AGAIN. BUT THEN I SUDDENLY COULDN'T TURN THE WHEEL. THE WHEEL WAS LOCKED UP. WITH VERY FIRM FORCE, I MANAGED TO TURN THE WHEEL ABOUT 15 DEGREES - BUT THE ACTUAL TIRES THEMSELVES DID NOT TURN. THE CAR WAS IN "R" AND DID REVERSE, BUT AS I COULD NOT STEER IT DID NOT REVERSE IN THE DIRECTION I WANT

THE FIRST INSTANCE OCCURRED IN AUGUST OF 2012. WE WERE TRAVELING ON THE HWY AND WERE REDUCING SPEEDS FROM 65 TO EXIT THE RAMP. UPON APPLYING THE BRAKES THE EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON AND STARTED FLASHING. THE SECOND INCIDENT HAPPENED IN MARCH OF 2013. THE INCIDENTS ARE NOW FOR FREQUENT AND HAPPEN MONTHLY. SEVERAL TIMES WE HAVE BEEN IN TRAFFIC ON THE HIGHWAY AND HAVE HAD TO BRAKE QUICKLY DUE TO ROAD WORK, TRAFFIC, ETC AND HAVE SLIMLY MISSED HAVING AN ACCIDENT. BECAUSE WE CANNOT REPLICATE THE INCIDENT ON DEMAND THE INFINITI DEALERSHIPS CLAIMS THEY CANNOT DIAGNOSE OR EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM. THE BRAKING SYSTEM IS UNRELIABLE AND HAZARDOUS. I HAVE DONE THE PROPER MAINTENANCE ON MY VEHICLE BY HAVING BRAKE PADS REPLACED WHEN NECESSARY BECAUSE I AM A RESPONSIBLE OWNER.
