Exhaust leaks caused by calapsed exhaust manifold pipes on 34 IC units with PSI engines. they are wrapped with aluminium covering with insulation. This in turn makes high heat tempuraters that split and burn up and disfigure pipes. Which can cause a fire if any oil leakage or fuel occurs. It also has been snapping exhaust manifold bolts away from manifdolds.

1. Component: Bus 15 - Right front outrigger. Yes it is available for inspection 2. Safety: Outrigger cracked creating insufficient support of the school bus body 3. We were told it was not covered under warranty and no recalls have been generated and therefore paid for the first repair through Wolfington Body Co. Inc. Their repair did not hold and it came apart and on 8/7/2024 it was repaired
... a second time, no charge. It came apart again and on 1/30/2025 it was repaired a third time, no charge. 4. The dealer has inspected the bus, we are not aware of the manufacturer or anyone else having inspected the bus. The dealer did say they were going to present this to the manufacturer but we have never heard anything more about it. 5. We first noticed the crack when we inspected it on 4/4/2024 because we heard and felt an unusual noise/motion when driving on the roads in our town. PLEASE NOTE: Since then we have had a total of 4 out of our 5 International Gas Buses with the identical problem. Those Buses are: Bus 3 The crack was noticed on 10/24/2024 mileage 37,052 cost to repair $3,010.18. This repair came apart again on 10/24/2025 and was repaired on 2/13/26 no charge. Bus 1 The crack was noticed on 11/19/2024 mileage 46,718 the Dealer repaired at no cost due to negotiating a compromise. Bus 12 The crack was noticed on 5/23/2025 mileage 40,310 cost to repair $3,005.58. I have been told by the Dealer's Service Team through an email dated 8/4/2025 that they would be submitting these to the Manufacturers "goodwill process in hopes of having the previous and current repairs reimbursed" To date, we have heard nothing. We strongly feel this is a manufacturer design defect and it must be happening to other IC School Buses as well.Read more

On Sunday 10/19/2025, estimated 11:15 a.m., while traveling on the 215 West in Riverside, California, my 17 year old granddaughter, riding in the passenger front seat of my 2025 Honda Passport, and I, heard an explosion overhead and immediately could hear the sound of wind. I knew immediately something had happened to the sunroof. I looked into the rear view mirror and traffic around me was unaff
... ected, proof that nothing was flying thru the air needed to be avoided. I exited the freeway at the 1st available off-ramp. My granddaughter and I were quite shaken. We each began taking photos in disbelief. There was a large hole in the mid-section of the sunroof, and yet no sign of the piece that was blown out. I immediately thought of the missing piece of glass, if something had hit the sunroof from overhead, the glass would have fallen in as well as the object falling on it. The pictures also show a pattern of glass being lifted/ blown from inside out versus outside in. I began researching and found exploding sunroofs to be something known about since 2019. In addition, I found a Facebook group where other Passport owners have experienced and posted pictures of the same damage to their sunroofs - some have had Honda cover the costs, and others, like me were denied. The service representative where I purchased the Passport reached out to what he referred to as “his Honda rep” and was told Honda would NOT cover the $1K+ repair cost. This is a manufacturer/workmanship issue, not a customer issue. Please advise on my next steps of reporting.Read more

Upon normal highway driving a couple of months ago, began to notice shifting that was not smooth and rpm "surges" on hills despite constant throttle. Upon taking car to dealer, inspection revealed an internal spline failure between transmission and transfer case. Lead mechanic explained it was not the first he had seen of this model and that it was clearly internal and caused by a manufacturing
... and/or assembly defect. I caught the problem early enough to not have a complete car failure; however, left untreated, it would lead to a transmission failure. The remedy was a full transmission and transfer case replacement, with repair costs exceeding $13,000. Given car had 84,000 miles, it was not covered by 70,000 Power Train Warranty from Acura. 2017: transmission replacement UW 2021: Vehicle stopped/ lost power on I44 at a speed of 70 mph. I immediately pulled over and called Roper on a recorded line per roper Honda. Took it to roper- needs a new motor. 2021: motor replacement Not UW 2024: vehicle was called in about hatch defect . Apparently, Roper reports that it is fixed yet- it IS NOT. I was unaware of the rods recall. That would
... explain why I need another motor. 2025: motor is knocking. Not UW 2025: AIS: vehicle has stalled at busy intersections after an idle stop. Scary when you have a car full of kids and your car doesn’t want to go. Now the car will just loose power and not start at a stop light regularly. I paid $43,000 for a vehicle that may have all the bells and whistles but it is complete trash to say the least. I have records of all of the work, issues, and roper has recorded calls that could be supenaded. ROPER HONDA JOPlIN MORead more

• What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The harness buckle on the Nuna Rava car seat repeatedly failed to latch securely and would occasionally release with very little force. This issue occurred even when the buckle was free from debris and used according to the manual. The seat is still in my possession and is available for inspectio
... n upon request. • How was the child’s safety put at risk? The faulty harness buckle compromised the restraint system, potentially allowing the child to come loose during transit. This created a serious risk of injury in the event of sudden braking or a collision, and it made it unsafe for daily travel. • Has the car seat been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The manufacturer has not yet inspected the seat. I have contacted Nuna customer service and am awaiting further instructions regarding return or inspection. No other parties (police or insurance) have inspected the seat at this time.Read more
