OnStar could not open the doors, they kept telling me the truck was unlocked. My app could not open the doors. ... would not unlock due to the automatic doors. We had to insert an airbag and Jimmy open the door by hooking the interior door handle. The issue is this vehicle will lock you out of your car in an emergency. With the key you cannot unlock the doors. Luckily I only had dinner stuck in the car. I have little children and my fear is they will be locked in the truck if this happens. In the event of an emergency there is no way to get into the truck without smashing windows. The running boards in this mode disappear which makes it even more challenging to break the window and get over and inside. This is a very serious and dangerous design by Cadillac on the Escalade 2025.Read more

This can be confirmed from the numerous posts and videos online (YouTube, Reddit, Ioniq forums, etc.). Given that ICCUs continue to fail at a significant rate, resulting in reduced vehicle speed and vehicle shutdown within minutes (as soon as the 12 V battery is exhausted), I strongly urge NHTSA to do the following: 1. Consider the current ICCU software update to be an ineffective remedy for recall 24V-868. 2. Broaden the scope of recall 24V-868 or create a new recall for all Hyundai/Kia/Genesis eGMP platform vehicles to address this defect. 3. During a collision the cracked dashboard may break apart more easily causing sharp or jagged pieces to become projectiles inside of the cabin these fragments can pose a serious injury risk to occupants. It can also result in impaired airbag deployment. Many vehicles have airbags in the dashboard a severely cracked dashboard could obstruct or improperly deploy airbags for example the airbag may not fully deploy reducing its effectiveness and the dashboard may puncture or otherwise interfere with the airbag as it inflates creating additional safety hazards. Cracks may expose sharp edges or materials under the dashboard which could harm occupants during a collision, especially in areas where passengers may come into contact with the dashboard. A cracked dashboard could also cause a compromised electrical system dashboards house numerous electrical systems, sensors, and controls cracks could indicate underlying damage to these components. In a collision, these systems may fail or behave unpredictably which could further reduce safety features. Cracked dashboards present a significant risk during a collision and should be addressed by the manufacturer promptly to ensure its customer safety.Read more

... time of purchase (approximate mileage ~66,549), the FSD system repeatedly exhibited unsafe behavior during normal operation on public roads, including straddling two lanes, drifting toward lane markers, stopping at green lights or within intersections, hesitating mid-intersection, and failing to complete routine turns. These behaviors required frequent human intervention and made the system unsafe to use. Safety Risk: The behavior created a risk of collision with other vehicles and posed a danger to occupants and other road users, particularly when stopping unexpectedly at green lights or hesitating in intersections. Confirmation/Inspection: The issue was reported multiple times to Tesla Service and escalated internally. Tesla inspected the vehicle and confirmed in writing that the FSD behaviors were “behavioral” and not resolvable by hardware replacement at that time, with no known fix or timeline. Warnings: No warning lamps or fault messages were displayed prior to or during the incidents. Despite these issues, Tesla continued to advertise the vehicle as FSD-capable and accepted payment for the FSD subscription. I provided Tesla formal written notice via certified mail, delivered November 26, 2025, with no response within the stated timeframe. Although a recent software update has temporarily improved behavior, the defect existed at purchase and persisted through multiple service interactions. Toyota issued a safety recall on my Toyota Sienna advising not to use the middle-row seats due to weld failures in high-speed crashes. Toyota has no repair remedy, no loaner vehicles, no rental assistance, and no replacement option. I have young children and cannot safely use the vehicle for its intended purpose. Toyota is leaving families without safe transportation.

I experience a lack of power issue when driving the vehicle and attempting to accelerate past 40-60 mph. I will floor the accelerator and the car still stalls and will not accelerate. This has been terrifying when merging onto the highway and realizing this issue is occurring, as it is sporadic and not noticeable on residential/low speed drives. The grounding strap behind the front right wheel that goes to the frame (Earth Strap) was rotted. This seams to be a very common problem with this model truck and is dangerous.

When at a stop, pushing the gas pedal to go, the truck hesitates. Almost like the truck dies then all of the sudden takes off. I have had multiple instances were i was almostnT-boned.
