Tesla has completely removed the rear door manual release latch in my late 2023 Model 3 Performance. This elevates the concern of the ongoing NHTSA Defect Petition DP25002 (opened December 2025), which investigates similar issues with emergency egress controls on Model 3 vehicles, citing them as "hidden, unlabeled, and not intuitive." Again, in my late 2023 Model 3 Performance, these are entirely

It is a very well known issue with these make and model trucks, ( 19-current Silverado 1500,2500,3500) that the eurethane on the back glass and the back glass track/frame cracks and leaks water causing an unsafe environment inside the vehicle if not caught. Dear Hyundai Motor America Consumer Affairs, I am formally escalating a safety defect involving my 2023 Hyundai Kona, VIN [XXX] , purchased [XXX]. Since the purchase, the vehicle’s horn has repeatedly failed. I have brought the car in for service multiple times, and the issue is thoroughly documented in service records and email correspondence. Despite these efforts, the defect has not been pe

This defect is not isolated; identical horn failures in Hyundai Kona vehicles are widely documented across public Internet forums, consumer complaint sites, and owner reports, further underscoring the seriousness of this issue. Given the repeated repair attempts and ongoing safety risk, I am requesting immediate corporate-level review and a clear, permanent resolution. This matter requires prompt attention. [XXX] , service manager, informed me today that my horn was changed/serviced 4 times already. As of today, 2-10-2-26 he is ordering me another horn. Please respond in writing with next steps. While driving, the vehicle repeatedly hesitated during gear changes, lost power, and then abruptly jerked back into gear. This occurred intermittently for over a month without any warning messages, creating unpredictable and unsafe driving conditions. As the issue worsened, the vehicle began losing power more frequently. The most serious event occurred at highway speed, where the vehicle suddenly
... lost propulsion in the middle of active traffic, nearly causing a stall. This created an immediate safety hazard for myself and surrounding drivers. After several seconds, the vehicle violently re-engaged into gear and surged forward. Only at this point did the vehicle display a warning: “Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power.” I scanned the vehicle and retrieved DTC P0734 – Gear 4 Incorrect Ratio, a code associated with internal transmission faults. A dealership inspected the vehicle and reported that the CDF drum had failed. They stated they could not guarantee that replacing the drum would resolve all issues and provided two estimates: $5,600 for a partial internal repair/$8,700 for full transmission replacement. The 10R80 transmission has a documented history of failures, including harsh shifting, slipping, unexpected gear disengagement, and internal component defects. These issues are addressed in multiple Ford Technical Service Bulletins involving P0734, harsh/failed shifts, and failures related to the CDF clutch cylinder/drum. Many vehicles of the same make and model are covered under related recalls or service actions for similar problems; however, my VIN is not included, and Lincoln declined to honor the existing recall. This defect presents a serious safety risk due to: Sudden loss of power while driving, including at highway speeds, Unpredictable re-engagement and violent surging, Loss of propulsion without warning, leading to near-stall conditions. This powertrain malfunction is a known, unsafe, repeat issue among these vehicles equipped w/this transmission.Read more

I purchased this 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid on 11/06/2024 from Tower Honda in Longview, Texas. I purchased the vehicle with the Hankook Kinergy GT tires already on there, and these tires are still on here till this day. During my research Hankook Tires are known to have premature tread wear, tread separation/sidewall issues, poor longevity, and sometimes difficulty warrant claims. I can't believe dealerships would even allow these type of tires on vehicles knowing that the tread life and value is horrible, but I guess at the end of the day, everyone is trying to make a sale, and safety doesn't matter. Less than one year later, the vehicle developed recurring emissions system failure
... , loss of power, drivability issues, and repeated warning indicators. The vehicle is currently out of service while additional components, including oxygen sensors and spark plugs, are reported to be affected. The manufacturer is declining to replace the catalytic converter and is attributing the condition to oil consumption despite the prior unresolved emissions failure. The issue has been confirmed by dealership diagnostics and has resulted in prolonged loss of use of the vehicle. At about 800 miles i noticed ticking from the engine and random and intermittent jerking. Some of which were very severe that felt like someone rear ended me. I took into the dealer with my complaints. They kept my vehicle for 2.5 days and didnt give me a loaner. The my were unable to reproduce the jerking and said the ticking was normal. They showed me the ticking and said its normal and will go
... away after it warms up. They did a vehicle update and said it will help. They said theres nothing else they will do. I knew something was still wrong but felt like they wouldnt do anything and I couldn't give up my vehicle for days at a time. I continued to drive it and was planning on taking it to a other dealer for a check up. But at about 3500 miles. One day the truck began squealing and grinding. I attempted to drive the truck home and the truck just died on the freeway. Luckily I knew something was wrong so I stayed in the slow lane so it was easy for me to get off. Thats the first time the check engine light came on but it was too late. I had it towed to the dealer and they checked and it was catastrophic engine failure.Read more
