The contact owns a 2022 Mazda CX-9. The contact stated that the vehicle was being operated with the front driver's side seat warmer activated to the highest heat level. After driving for several hours, the vehicle was parked. While exiting the vehicle, the contact experienced pain in the rear thigh area of each leg. Upon inspect the contact discovered that the rear thigh area of both legs had sust
... ained burning and blistering despite having pants on as a barrier during the failure. During the injuries, the contact was wearing pants. The contact was later treated at the local urgent care center for first-degree burns and blistering caused by excessive heat from the seat warmer. The manufacturer was notified of the injuries and advised to have the vehicle examined by the local dealer. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to detect a failure in the operation of the seat warmer, and no problem was found. The contact inquired about the temperature of the seat warmer and what its highest temperature level is; however, that information was not provided, and the manufacturer stated that it is the temperature at which the occupant felt comforable with. No further information was available. The failure mileage was 53,000.Read more

My vehicle currently has only 27,500 miles, yet it has been producing a loud and disturbing thud or clunk whenever the vehicle encounters bumps in the road. This problem began earlier this year and the ride quality has progressively deteriorated. I brought the vehicle to Subaru dealer for diagnosis and was informed that the rear stabilizer bushings required replacement and was provided with part
... number 20464AN000. I was told they are back-ordered. It's been almost two months with no part in sight. This is the same part being allocated to new 2026 Outback production while existing customers are left driving defective vehicles. That priority is indefensible and unacceptable. Aside from being unpleasant, the noise raises legitimate concerns about the safety and durability of a relatively new vehicle.Read more

Oil pan leaks. The F150 just crossed 70,000 miles. At just under 60,000 miles the truck had what the Ford Service tech described as a weap from the oil pan. He said it was a costly repair so just to watch it. At 65,000 it was a steady drip when the oil was warm. Now at 70,000 the Ford dealer is recommending a replacement. What I have learned is this is a common failure on 2015 to 2017 F150s
... with the 2.7L engine. I suspect this was happening earlier but the Ford Dealer was relucant to bring it up as it would have at the time been covered under warranty. I have also now learned Ford is on its 3rd TSB for resolving this common leak at the oil pan. Hopefully this will warrant a recall response from Ford. From research this is a very common failure and engine damage will occur if the leaking oil pan is not repaired. Please investigate as I suspect there are numerous complaints. Thank you.Read more

On 03/29/2026 at approximately 11:00 AM, I was driving my 2024 Polestar 2 southbound on [XXX] near [XXX] in the center lane at approximately 80 mph in heavy traffic. Without any prior warning — no vibration, no TPMS alert, no unusual noise, no warning lamps or messages of any kind — the left rear tire suffered a catastrophic tread/belt separation. The tire is a Continental original equipmen
... t tire, size 245/40R20, with ContiSilent acoustic foam lining and POL1 Polestar-specific markings. DOT number: [XXX] , manufactured week 17 of 2023 at Continental's [XXX] plant. The tire was factory-installed original equipment and had never been removed or remounted. The entire center tread band delaminated from the tire carcass in a single explosive event. I heard a loud bang and immediately lost control of the vehicle. The rear end spun out and the vehicle crossed two lanes of heavy high-speed highway traffic before coming to rest on the shoulder. CHP responded to the scene and filed a report. I was not struck by any other vehicle. No injuries. No vehicle body damage. However the failure created an extreme risk of death or serious injury to myself and to other motorists in adjacent lanes at highway speed. The failed tire is preserved at the authorized Polestar dealership and is available for inspection upon request. Photographic documentation exists showing textbook belt edge separation: the shoulder tread remains attached on both sides while the entire center section has cleanly separated from the carcass, exposing the inner liner and ContiSilent polyurethane foam layer. The rim is undamaged. The left front tire is from the same production run [XXX] , manufactured one week earlier at the same Hannover plant), making it a sister tire that may carry the same manufacturing defect. See attached document for complaint. Toyota Motor North America, Inc. has failed or is unable to remedy the safety recall (NHTSA Recall No. 25V-636), issued on 26 September 2025, for my 2021 Toyota Supra within a reasonable period of time. According to the non-dated letter from Toyota, the recall is for a defect in the engine starter relay that may catch fire without warning “during vehicle ope
... ration or when the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off” (Toyota Recall No. 25TA09). The letter further states that “owners are advised to park their vehicles outside and away from structures until the recall remedy is complete” and that “the remedy can be available in the last quarter of 2025.” This defect is serious. For safety I am afraid to drive the vehicle, because it could catch fire without warning. The vehicle is parked outside in the winter weather, instead of in my garage. The promised date for a remedy has passed (last quarter of 2025) with no further information from Toyota. I contacted Toyota via telephone on 3 December 2025 and again on 13 January 2026, without resolution. I sent letters to Toyota Vice Presidents on 15 January 2026 (copy attached), but I have had no response to date. Currently Toyota has not indicated when the necessary repairs will be available, if ever. Please use all of your authority to bring this matter to a satisfactory resolution. Further delays are not a satisfactory resolution, because Toyota has my money for a car that I cannot drive and that depreciates each month. Toyota has major financial incentives to delay.Read more

While driving, the vehicle lost engine power on three separate occasions (3/6/26, 3/10/26, 3/20/26) and had to coast to a stop on the road. One of the codes that appeared was P0087; the Honda dealership replaced the fuel pump kit (part # 06161-RLV-305) due to the fuel rail pressure being too low, but the vehicle continued to stall upon replacement after being picked up from the dealership. When it
... was brought back to them, they could not find a problem or replicate the stalling. This is a safety risk because the car is stalling for an unknown reason and will not start back up for 10-15 minutes. This is a safety risk to the driver and others because stalling could cause an accident or fatalities if the driver is unable to safely pull over. Fuel pumps are a known problem in 2017 Pilots and this vehicle was not included in the recall (SB 24-010). I paid $1694 for the repair from the Honda dealership and the problem is still occurring. There were no warning lights prior to the failure. Honda should reimburse me for this cost, but they denied responsibility for the cost despite Service Bulletin 24-010. These vehicles are unsafe and should not be on the road at all.Read more

It will not take fuel. I try very slowly to put fuel in it and it keeps shutting off at the pump. I took it to the VW Dealership and they said it was a stuck valve in the tank. That I would need a new gas tank and wanted to charge me $2000 to fix it. I took it to another place and they said it was a venting problem. They put a camera down in the tank and pushed the stick valve open and it was
... n’t stuck as much as it had pressure built up in the tank from not getting holding the valve shut. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t know if it’s a stuck valve or a venting problem.Read more

I am writing to formally document a serious, recurring safety defect in ou 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, purchased less than a month ago. The vehicle has now exhibited multiple distinct dashboard warning faults related to the electronic shifter system, has left me stranded on more than one occasion, and has been sitting at Schomp Hyundai in [XXX] , for the second time, for over one week, with no res
... olution. The dealership has been unable — or unwilling — to properly diagnose the issue despite photographic documentation of the active fault warnings and the existence of Hyundai-issued Technical Service Bulletins directly addressing this problem. This letter serves as formal written notice pursuant to Colorado's Lemon Law (C.R.S. § 42-10-101 et seq. Since taking delivery, I have experienced multiple occurrences of two distinct dashboard fault warnings on this vehicle. Both have been photographically documented with date-stamped images: • "Shifter System Malfunction! Service Immediately" — The vehicle became inoperable and could not shift gears, leaving me stranded. "PARK Malfunction. Engage parking brake when parking vehicle." — A secondary fault indicating failure of the electronic park system, creating a serious safety hazard. These faults are not related to any collision or external damage. They are pre-existing manufacturing defects that began occurring in the first week of purchase. Notably, this is a known and documented issue affecting Hyundai Tucson Hybrid models. Hyundai has issued Technical Service Bulletins TSB #21-AT-007H and TSB #21-AT-009H. I drove the vehicle approximately 8 times (including to and from the repair center) and have had the issue multiple times.I am formally requesting the following immediate actions: • Direct the dealership to perform a complete GDS historical DTC scan per TSB #21-AT-007H and #21-AT-009H and provide full written results. RF Module lost connection to CAN Bus and caused the vehicle to shutoff while driving. Symptoms include messages about key fob not within range and TPMS not able to communicate with sensors. RF Module was replaced however the issue returned. Other symptoms include parasitic draw caused by RF Module that in turn causes the system to report low voltage while driving. Vehicle has left me stranded on m
... ore than one occasion due to RF Module failures. These situations where preceded by no starts and shifter errors. Most of these issues can temporarily be resolved by disconnecting the main battery for extended periods. Dealer or service center has not reproduced the issue. Dealership inspected the RF module during installion of a new RF module after a water leak. The issue first appeared after the dealership repaired the "backlite" window, which was leaking on to the RF module. I suspect this might be related to system updates installed during the window installation service call. All of this started in early 2024.Read more

Twice the side detection system failed due to corroded wiring under the bumper which then led into the electrical system failing on side air bag detection/blind zone detection/traction control system/display monitor and blinkers all failing to the point of vehicle not starting. The safety is these features failed which were both safety and stability. Risks occur in becoming stranded and the prob
... lem was first noted by dealer to be a poor battery. GM pushed out a "Special Coverage Adjustment' to have the wiring/module kit to be ordered and repaired by a dealer for no charge. Stipulations was within 6 yrs or 80,000 from 'placed in use'. Warning lamps occurred after the corrosion was too far along to be rectified and after the 6n yrs off the lot. Manufacture GM issued the special adjustment but dealership did not provide notice beyond letter at point of failure in vehicle so that twice I have had to contend with this issue and pay in full for the service work performed. The second fail of this wiring system and module was within 3 years of first replacement.Read more
