Incident date: Dec 19, 2024

I had my vehicle serviced at Hyundai of Kirkland, located at 11800 124th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034, on December 19th, 2024. During the service, the dealership did not inform me of any active recalls on my vehicle, nor did they address any recall-related issues. I believe it is their responsibility to notify customers of recalls and ensure proper servicing as required.

Incident date: Jun 13, 2023

On June 13 2023, I received an alert on my dashboard that my cruise control was unable to be used due to an issue with the front sensor. The alert went away soon after but then reappeared on August 27th, 2023 the error appeared again. Specifically error code C162078. I wasn't able to get the issue repaired until November 2023, which is also where they replaced my faulty backup camera.

My Engine malfunctioned while driving on the interstate at 70 mph. There were no lights that came on no notice just stopped excelerating. Thankfully after exiting the interstate I was able to get to a gas station safely and that is where the vehicle died altogether and would not start again. The vehicle has lose of acceleration while driving.. On Freeway the gas pedal loses acceleration. Lift off gas it accelerates then loses acceleration again. 2018 Hyundai Santefe 2.4L engine burned oil at a high rate and due to this caused 4k oil changes obsolete. The car need an oil change every 2k miles and still would have high build up. My vehicle has been in for service 4 times for the front brake rotors warping. The dealer/manufacturer is not able to fix nor diagnose the root cause of the issue. They have replaced the rotors twice and turned/resurfaced the rotors twice - all in 26000 miles. I was using the access road to get on the highway but when I tried to accelerate the car was slow to accelerate and I almost got hit by other cars. I don’t know what happened but now I have a steady check engine light. When I called a mechanic he said I have a TSB from 2021 for the Dual Clutch but I didn’t see anything for this and my SaferCar app doesn’t mentions it either.
