Truck was "repaired" under Recall V06. Drag link/track bar was welded in place, which was supposed to be a temporary fix until parts became available to replace the bad drag link. In Mar of this year, I had the ball joints replaced. Upon repair, my steering wheel was cocked to the left in order to drive straight. Brought the truck back to have that repaired. Service center told me that becaus
... e the part had been welded, they would have to break the weld, center the steering wheel, and reweld the part. That took place but did not fix the problem. My truck still turns right when the steering wheel is level. I have since been caught between Ram Customer Care and the dealership with each telling me the other needs to "do something" and both referring me to the other for assistance. I have attached photos of the work done and a copy of the recall. The weld job done on my truck is horrible, if not unsafe. But, I have to drive my truck. I think Ram is taking advantage of the good faith the Administration has shown them by allowing them to decide whether to make the replacement of the part. It should be mandatory. Probably thousands of Ram trucks in a similar situation on America's roads. The welded adjustment sleeve makes a proper alignment of the steering wheel impossible. The alignment is designed to be adjusted. Finally, I noted that the dealership violated the "do not sell" of the recall. I bought the truck in March 2019, without the recall call work done - unbeknownst to me. They did not take the recall seriously.Read more

Since i did not want a trade in and wanted my car fixed instead Neil tried to tell me that this was my final offer which i declined because why not just fix my car? I went to talk to Neil in person September 9, 2025 about getting my car fixed and the frustrations i am having because having to return the car weekly and i havent had it for a month is outrageous. [XXX] i was driving the hyundai on the highway with my children in the car and the electricity to the car completely cut off but came right back on, i got off the highway and the car did it again and this time the wheel locked up and i almost wrecked the car. Every time i called to have my car serviced and told them about what i would hear and feel they could NEVER make the car "do it again". I am beyond frustrated, upset and terrified because i have been telling them about smoking coming from the engine, rattling noise etc. My kids lives were put in danger and the only thing they could say was "i apologize and we can tow the car to the shop". I am filing a formal complaint regarding a serious safety concern with my 2021 CHEVROLET SILVERADO, following the completion of recall N252494001 performed by Galleria Chevrolet in Dallas, TX. Prior to this recall work and related inspections, my vehicle operated without any abnormal engine noise. After the recall inspection and a subsequent fuel injector repair performed by the dealer, my vehicl
... e began producing a bottom-end engine noise that had never been present before, and ultimately we have catastrophic engine failure. What is highly concerning is that the dealership staff previously documented the situation in writing as follows: “We performed the recall inspection and the truck passed. After performing an injector repair now there is a bottom-end noise when it's running. Did the failed injector possibly affect the validity of the test? That may be the case. We know that the truck did not experience the noise before the inspection; is it possible that the steps we took affected the truck in a way that got the noise to show itself? That’s what we need to determine.” Despite this acknowledgment, the dealership is now denying any responsibility, classifying the damage as unrelated “wear and tear”. This reversal appears highly suspicious, as it contradicts their own observations and written notes. It suggests that the dealership and GM may be refusing to fulfill their obligations under the recall and repair warranty, leaving me with a vehicle that has a blown engine and a significant safety risk. Given the timing of the noise, occurring directly after recall work and injector repair, and the internal documentation from the dealership itself, I request NHTSA investigate whether: This issue is part of a broader trend affecting other vehicles under the same recall. GM and its dealers are properly honoring their obligations to fully repair vehicles impacted by recalls. Consequential damage resulting from recall work is being systematically denied coverage.Read more

When I bought the truck it was working fine. Went through Chevy and got all the inspections done before buying the truck and it worked fine. About 2 months later my front collision automatic breaking, lane keep and assist, and automatic high berms stopped working. I’ve talked to many other Silverado owners and this is happening to them too. Even when trying to reset it. With the amount of times
... this has happened to all these Silverado’s a recall should absolutely happen because having to pay for this is crazy when it’s happening to so many vehiclesRead more

All warning lights and audible alarms started going off at the same time. EPS, ABS, Auto Hold, Collision warning, Air bags, All wheel drive, brake system, and more.1st time it happened was [XXX], while driving. The car was drivable but I did notice a difference in braking and acceleration. I parked and turned off the car. I did turn the car back on several times and the alarms continued. I finally
... turned it off for 10 min, and all alarms stopped, but the check engine light stayed on. Car sat overnight and all warnings had stopped. Took it in for service, and issue could not be duplicated. 2nd time it happened was [XXX]. I had to have the car towed since it would not move when in drive or reverse. Alarms were still going off when it made it to service. They replaced the brake harness. 3rd time happened on [XXX], 3 days after the brake harness was replaced. Towed it to service and they replaced the engine harness. 4th time was on [XXX], 2 weeks after engine harness was replaced. This time there were no audible alarms, just all of the visual ones. Same performance issues as stated before. This issue seems to have happened to several other Hyundai owners as well, as per complaints in Reddit and on Hyundai forums. There does not seem to be a consensus for what is actually causing this issue. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more
