I purchased a new 2026 palisade on 8/30/2025. The day after I purchased it I started noticing the car jumping/bucking/hesitating to get up to speed, also it jumps and jolts around different speeds. I brought the car back to the dealership 2 days later for them to look at it. After explaining the problem they drove the car by a tech and also the service manager, with the car being so new. After rev
... iew of the car, the service person told us verbally that the service manager did feel some hesitation in the car but that the car was so new that it is most likely caused by TAP tables (the car learning how a driver drives). After 30 days of the driving the car, it did not get better, only worse. I brought the car back to the dealership on 9/29 again to have them look at it. They first told me nothing was wrong and that the car just "rode rough" . The service person i was dealing with asked for us to drive in the car together so I could point out what I was feeling when I drove it. While he was driving I could feel the hesitation even in the passenger seat. I pointed it out everytime I felt it, to which he confirmed he felt as well. After the test drive, he allowed me to drive a similar model closest to mine. While I drove that vehicle, I felt that same exact feeling I was feeling in mine. He recommended that I file a formal complaint and that he would send all the information into the warranty department. He also stated during the drive that the new Santa Fe, when they were first released had a similar issue and that they finally release a software update to resolve the issue with the trans and that may also be the case with the new palisade as well. My advice to anyone buying this car, during the test drive make sure you request to take this on the highway and get it in the range of 65-75mph and keep it idle at 70 for a bit and make sure you dont get stuck with the same problem! My previous vehicle had a transmission issue and this is exact same feeling in the PalisadeRead more

After unboxing my Maxi Cosi Emme 360, I was able to properly install it into my vehicle. Once installed, I manipulated the seat checking for movement from side to side. I was going to brush this off as normal until I realized that I could actually push the shell of the seat partially off the base when the seat is in rear

I called support, did a short video chat with one of their technicians, and was told this was how the seat was supposed to work. I have friends and a sibling with the same brand and model. This is not a feature they experience with their seats. I am not comfortable having my child in it, and I’d like this to be investigated if they are choosing to tell people this is safe.Read more

Their tone has been dismissive and rude throughout my calls. 2.Delays and lack of resolution – After more than three months, my claim is still unresolved. I purchased extended warranty coverage specifically to avoid these issues, yet I have been left without a vehicle all this time. 3.Rental car denied – Despite repeated requests, I was told I am not entitled to a rental while my Jeep is undriveable due to warranty issues. 4.Improper rim handling and poor repair coordination – The warranty company appointed Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist (Contact: Shaundolyn Whittle, [email protected], 877-743-2977) to attempt repairs. My rims were removed and remounted multiple times, leaving them scratched and further damaged. •Additionally, Elite Wheels (Contact: Nick, 518-579-9260, Claim #[XXX]) was also involved in the process. I want to add an update to my previous report # 11690629. I think it would be helpful to provide what the Max Speed should be based on my input. So, I will just resubmit the previous report with some additional information. On December 31, 2024, I purchased a new Tesla Model 3 Long Range with Full Self-Driving (FSD). The problem is the car goes faster than it should when Full Self-Driving is a
... ctivated. I have attached an example photo of the Tesla screen taken while the car is being controlled by FSD. It shows the actual speed limit of the road is 35 MPH, and the car is traveling at a steady speed of 51 MPH. It also shows a “Max Speed” of 64 MPH which means the car may travel that fast on this road if it chooses to. Since I use an Offset of 10%, the Max Speed in this 35 zone should be 39 MPH. However, the car increased it to 64 MPH, and I certainly did not use the right scroll wheel to increase it. This is clearly a safety issue which can lead to accidents. Tesla has made 5 attempts to fix this without success. On the last attempt (September 24, 2025), they refused to answer my questions such as: Why does the Max Speed suddenly change to a value much higher than my specification? They simply stated that the system was operating as designed. Really? It’s design to drive 51 MPH in a 35 MPH zone? Furthermore, they went on to say I should disengage the FSD system or intervene manually if I believe the car is operating in an unsafe manner. One reason I purchased this car was for FSD. I would expect them to fix it rather than my having to abandon this feature that I pay for. I hope you will encourage Tesla to fix this issue before there are any more FSD-related accidents.Read more

I went to test drive this car on Saturday 9/27, and noticed that the rear view mirror--the actual mirror, not the video screen inside it--was vibrating/shaking immensely as I drove it. We discovered another identical model and year of the car on the lot, and it exhibited the exact same problems. Initially the same screw was loose, but after fixing it that mirror also gave the same shaking/vibrating. We determined that this looks like an overall problem with this model and year, at the least, and the dealership didn't know what to do. I declined the car. A couple of days ago, I started hearing a faint whining noise coming from my vehicle when I pressed on the gas pedal. When I brought my vehicle into the dealership today for my 100,000 mile service, I advised them of such. After raising the concern, I was told that there was an issue with my car's transmission and that it was not covered by the warranty as the warranty for that part ended at 75,
... 000 miles. After looking up this issue and the cost to replace, I learned that this transmission issue is a prevalent issue with 2017-2021 highlanders with over 60,000 miles. This issue is so prevalent that there is a huge backorder for parts needed to fix this specific issue. I have owned multiple Toyotas because of their reliability. I had a 4 runner that I used past 225,000 miles with no issues. The fact that I'm having an issue with a transmission issue with a vehicle with less than 100,000 miles on it that I always service every 5,000 miles at the Toyota dealership I bought the vehicle at is huge red flag and is making me reconsider my allegiance to the Toyota brand. The dealer has quoted me a price of $7,500 to fix the issue. I believe that Toyota should make this right as it is clear that this is a known and prevalent issue with the highlanders. In fact, I'm surprised given the number of people complaining online that it is not the subject of a recall. As a lawyer, this sounds like an issue ripe for a class action. That being said, I am hoping that Toyota will work with me and pay for the repair and/or furnish me with a new car credit.Read more

I own a 2018 Audi A5. Many critical cooling system parts — including the thermostat housing, water pump housing, radiator end tanks, breather tubes, and quick-connect hoses — are made of plastic and sit in constant exposure to coolant temperatures over 200°F. Over time, these components become brittle, crack, and fail prematurely. Recently, the plastic breather/return hose between the coolan
... t reservoir and the radiator broke apart during routine service due to brittleness. When these parts fail, coolant leaks quickly, which can cause sudden overheating, engine damage, and potential vehicle disablement while driving. Based on owner reports and my own experience, this appears to be a widespread issue across Audi/VW vehicles of this generation. I request that NHTSA investigate whether the use of plastic in these high-heat, high-pressure components represents a design defect that creates a safety hazard.Read more

... io but got no answer. After 4 days same problem reoccurring again, this time car dead during left turn, fortunately no car hit our car (we were having 2 babies in the car). A lot of messages showed up, still mentioned “Brake problems “, and after 15-20 minutes, message us again - “Problem solved, ok to drive “. We have AAA tow the car to BMW service center later since we didn’t feel the message was reliable. The service center identified the problem and replaced the Mechatronics Control Unit and returned the car to us after 7 days. I am concerned about the car’s system message, it’s mentioned “Problem solved, OK to drive “, the message could misleading and have been fatal if we continued driving the vehicle to freeway. After we got vehicle back we were still very cautious about the car. I sent my concern to New Central BMW Alhambra CA about one month ago -to the service manager and requested a written explanation of why this faulty message occurred and how BMW engineer plans to prevent this from happening again. But there was no answer so far. There were a “Brake problem recall” and a “Emission Recall “for this vehicle and we went through the procedure already before these 2 brake problems.Read more

I am unsure what exact component malfunctioned but in 5 separate times within the past 2 months, the vehicle has failed to stop at a normal time when pressing the brakes and a loud rumbling occurs. It feels as if I am sliding on ice.Two of the times it occurred on uneven road surfaces, however 3 times I could not identify an issue with the road. They all occured when coming to a stoplight/stop sig
... n or when I had to stop due to a vehicle slowing down or stopping in front of me. In each occurrence I was going under 20 mph. The safety of others could have definitely been impacted as it took a few seconds to actually stop the vehicle more than it should have. Someone could have been walking and crossing the street in front of me. Or if I was too close to the car in front of me it could have hit it. No warning messages appeared on the dashboard prior, but during the occurrence in the last time, I noticed the word "shift" appear. This word could have shown up during the first few times and I could have missed it. On Tuesday September 9th I took it to the dealership and they checked everything out and the vehicle did not produce the same symptoms when they tested it out over the hour I was there. They said they reported the issue but they did not know the reason it was occuring.Read more

During three separate incidents, my vehicle’s engine unexpectedly shut off without warning, twice in the middle of moving traffic and once while idling in a drive-thru when the engine idle stop/start feature was engaged. In each case the vehicle did not immediately restart, leaving me and my family exposed to oncoming traffic and high-speed vehicles, especially once while exiting a highway. The
... malfunction appears related to the engine’s idle stop/start or fuel/ignition system, but no specific component has been identified; the vehicle remains available for inspection upon request. Although I reported the incidents to the dealership, they stated they could not reproduce the problem and therefore could not repair it. . No warning lamps, error messages, or other visible symptoms appeared before or during any of the shutdowns, the engine simply stopped running, so there was no advance notice before the failures occurred.Read more

I purchased my car in December 26, 2024 brand new. in January 2025 I had a rock hit my windshield which caused a crack. I had it replaced. Then in June and another rock hit my windshield, which caused another crack, and that windshield was replaced again on August 6, 2025. Within 3 weeks of having it replaced a small piece of gravel hit the windshield causing another crack which I have not replace
... d yet. Since the last crack, I now have an additional crack cause by another small piece of gravel. I contacted the Honda dealer to which they said "sorry you just have bad luck" I have also filed a complaint with Honda customer service. I've done a little digging, and this seems to be a trend with the new 2025 HR-V body style. I'm concerned that if the windshield is this easy to break with small gravel what would happen if something larger was to hit the windshield? it could potentially lead to serious injury. In my uploaded pictures I have photos of current damage, and my first invoice from January. if needed I can obtain the invoice from the second repair in August. the pictures I've uploaded happened after the August 6th 2025 repair.Read more

On multiple occasions, the idle-stop function engaged at a red light and then either the entire car shut down or the computer froze for a minute or two then restarted. For each incident, we had cars behind us that either nearly hit us when we did not go forward when the light turned green or nearly hit us by aggressively going around us while we restarted the engine.
