The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving on a four-lane roadway, at approximately 45 mph, another driver attempted to make a left turn with an obstructed view, ran a red light and collided with the front driver side area of the contact's vehicle near the wheel well. Following the impact, the other vehicle spun and struck an additional vehicle. No further prope
... rty damage was reported. After the collision, the contact's vehicle veered to the right and came to a stop in a vacant lot away from oncoming traffic. The airbags did not deploy, and no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was subsequently towed to a tow yard and later declared a total loss by the insurance company. The contact sustained injuries to the forehead after striking the windshield due to forward movement during the collision and was then thrown backward into the rear seat. Medical treatment was received following the incident. The dealer was not notified of the issue. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 102,000.Read more

The oil pump is exhibiting erratic oil pressure behavior, verified by certified BMW technicians. This behavior has been documented by BMW to indicate that the oil pump can fail without warning, leading to an Uncommanded Loss of Propulsion Angle. The sudden and unexpected loss of power-assisted steering and braking, when the engine stalls in active traffic, can lead to death of the occupants or oth
... er drivers that the uncommanded automobile may collide with. Additionally, the thermoplastics in the oil pump component tend to shatter during cold starts, leaving occupants stranded in cold weather, and again, potentially leading to death. BMW is aware of this safety concern but is not offering a remedy at this time.Read more

Worst dealership my husband and I ever dealt with. We purchased a 2019 Nissan XD Titan Diesel with warranty. Two days after purchase, the check engine light came on. I called Spencer from the service department to let them know. They took the truck the very next day; it was some issue with the gas tank, so the part was back-ordered. After getting that fixed, the check engine light still never went
... off. I questioned the dealership; all they could say was it was probably a dirty sensor. Then, not even two weeks later, I was leaving a doctor's appointment on the interstate when it threw up a code for low coolant, saying it was about to go into limp mode. So, I made it to the dealership's service station. They said it was okay and couldn't find anything wrong with it, then told me to just keep driving it until it broke down or delete it if it was them. They said, 'You know, we don't deal with a lot of diesel, so it may need to go to another dealership.' Then, two months went by, and we had more issues. We ended up back at the dealership to find out that it now had an oil leak that was quoted to us as a $14,000 job for parts and labor. We also had extended warranty and powertrain, but Spencer failed to file the warranty claim correctly the first time and filed under the wrong warranty, so they denied it. We had to call management to get them to check why, and the problem was that the service department didn't know how to file the correct warranty claim. After that was submitted, my husband asked Spencer directly and the service department if they did rentals through our warranty. They said they don't give rentals at that dealership. Note that we found out later through our warranty that they did pay, but we weren't given that chance. After picking up the vehicle, the check engine light was still on !!! there’s so much more details to the story!!!!!Read more

I am filing a complaint regarding a major CVT transmission failure in my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek at approximately 117,318 miles. Prior to failure, there were no warning lights, dashboard messages, or significant indications of impending transmission failure. The only noticeable symptom was a slight whistling noise coming from the vehicle shortly before the transmission issue became severe. The sudd
... en nature of the failure created a safety concern because the vehicle’s ability to accelerate and respond reliably while driving was compromised without meaningful warning. A sudden loss of reliable transmission function creates potential risk when merging, accelerating, or operating in traffic. The issue has been confirmed by a Subaru dealership, which quoted approximately $10,000 for transmission replacement. Subaru of America was contacted directly and declined assistance despite known widespread CVT issues in Subaru vehicles of this generation and prior warranty extensions issued for CVT-related problems. The vehicle has not been modified or involved in any collision related to this failure. The failed transmission/component is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle has been inspected by a Subaru dealership service department. I believe this transmission failure reflects a broader pattern of premature CVT failures affecting 2013–2015 Subaru Crosstrek vehicles and warrants further investigation due to the safety implications and financial burden placed on consumers after sudden drivetrain failure without warning.Read more

Vehicle: 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE While driving approximately 65-70 mph, a red battery/charging warning appeared instructing me to pull over immediately. Within approximately 3-5 minutes, the vehicle rapidly lost electrical power and became completely disabled while driving. EVERYTHING in my car started shutting down; no air, no lights, no steering. Steering and vehicle functions beca

Diagnostic notes stated the alternator was only producing approximately 11.2 volts and was not charging the battery. The repair facility also documented that the alternator was saturated in engine oil due to leaking valve covers and oil filter housing components. Repairs included replacement of the alternator, valve covers, oil filter housing, gaskets, coolant-related components, and associated labor under Land Rover repair procedures. I am submitting this complaint because the sudden loss of electrical power while driving at highway speed created a serious safety concern. DEFECT DESCRIPTION My 2020 Subaru Crosstrek has been diagnosed with diagnostic trouble code P2757 (Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit Performance), which my authorized Subaru 802 Subaru retailer in Vermont has confirmed is caused by a defective CVT Control Valve Body. Subaru of America has acknowledged this exact defect in Technical Service Bulletin 16-156-25R (revi
... sed 10/28/25), which explicitly covers the 2013–2021MY Crosstrek 2.0L (FB20 engine, TR580 CVT) and prescribes replacement of the CVT Control Valve Body with an updated design incorporating an improved valve sleeve. This bulletin confirms that Subaru is aware of the design flaw in the original valve body and has developed a permanent engineering fix. WARRANTY EXTENSION DISPARITY Subaru of America issued a CVT Warranty Extension on June 30, 2025 (Retailer Bulletin 16-155-25R, revised 07/14/25) extending CVT coverage from the original 5 years/60,000 miles to 10 years/100,000 miles for certain 2019–2020MY vehicles. However, the 2020 Crosstrek equipped with the FB20 engine and TR580 CVT was specifically excluded from this extension, despite: 1. The 2019 Crosstrek (identical FB20/TR580 drivetrain) being included in the extension. 2. The 2020 Impreza (identical FB20/TR580 drivetrain) being included in the extension. 3. TSB 16-156-25R explicitly listing the 2020 Crosstrek as an affected vehicle with the same valve body defect. This exclusion appears arbitrary and inconsistent. Owners of the 2020 Crosstrek are being denied warranty coverage for a documented design defect that Subaru has acknowledged and corrected through a TSB, and for which owners of vehicles with the identical powertrain (same engine, same CVT) are receiving extended warranty protection. SAFETY CONCERN DTC P2757 indicates a failure in the torque converter clutch pressure control circuit. This defect can result in unexpected transmission behavior including hesitation, shuddering, loss of power deliveryRead more

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM, I experienced a sudden and complete engine failure while driving my 2019 Chevy Silverado equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine. I was forced to rely on the vehicle’s remaining momentum to maneuve

My vehicle had to be towed home and then to [XXX] Casa Chevrolet at [XXX] . After inspection, the dealership informed me that the engine requires a full rebuild, despite the vehicle having only 115,697 miles. According to the dealership, the engine shows **no compression on all cylinders**, **crankshaft and camshaft compression failure**, **pistons coated in oil and fuel with visible damage**, and a **non‑functioning timing chain likely due to a broken guide**. These findings mirror the exact symptoms currently under investigation in GM’s **EA25007** inquiry involving the 6.2L V8 (L87) engines in 2021–2025 GM trucks and SUVs GM has already issued a major recall affecting nearly **600,000 vehicles** due to defective connecting rods and crankshafts that can cause sudden engine failure, stalling, and potential fire hazards. Although my 2019 Silverado is not included in the recall, it is experiencing the same catastrophic engine failure associated with the defective components identified in the investigation. The dealership has quoted me $10,000 for an engine rebuild and has refused to assist with the cost. The brake pedal on my vehicle intermittently becomes stuck in the fully raised position and will not depress when I attempt to apply the brakes. When this occurs, I am unable to slow down or stop the vehicle, creating an immediate and serious safety hazard. The problem happens without warning and has occurred multiple times while driving at various speeds. When the defect occurs, the pedal feels
... locked or jammed, and I have to use extreme force or pump the pedal repeatedly before it finally releases. This delay in brake response puts me, my passengers, and other drivers at risk of a crash. The issue is unpredictable and does not appear to be related to weather, temperature, or driving conditions. I have not made any modifications to the braking system. The defect has occurred both during normal city driving and while approaching intersections. Because the failure prevents the brakes from engaging at all, I believe this is a critical safety issue that requires investigation.Read more

The upper radiator hose on some huge percentage of these trucks fail (mine has failed at just over 35k miles). You can check the Colorado Chevy forum, youtube, etc., et al, and find plenty of instances where this has failed. As this is the cooling system, it can cause the engine to overheat and potentially ruin the engine. The flaw seems to be an engineering issue with the rubber seal they use (in
... stead of a high quality o-ring) to seal the upper hose to the radiator. Additionally, since this can cause engine failure it should be addressed immediately. Instead, my local Chevy dealer, since its not a recall item, said they could schedule a time next week for me to LEAVE the truck and then they would get to it in 7-10 days. This is extremely unfair to the consumer who depends on these vehicles. This should absolutely be a recall item. The rubber trim in the pillar trim flaps in the wind and I was told to buy the parts on Amazon and that it isn’t hard to install. Along with the A/C not working a week after I bought the SUV. dealership is uncooperative.

While driving my 2016 Ford Edge Titanium, I felt a sudden popping sensation while applying the brakes and the brake pedal immediately went to the floor, resulting in major loss of braking ability. I was able to slowly and carefully get the vehicle parked before completely losing stopping ability. Brake fluid appeared to be leaking from the rear driver-side brake area. This vehicle previously expe
... rienced front brake hose failures related to prior Ford brake hose recalls. One front brake hose failed first, and the opposite front side later failed as well. Ford previously reimbursed me for one of those repairs after the recall became officially active. The current rear brake failure symptoms closely match Ford Recall 25S87 / NHTSA Recall 25V544000 involving rear brake hose rupture and brake fluid leakage in 2015–2018 Ford Edge vehicles. Landmark Ford in Tigard, Oregon and the Ford Customer Relationship Center have both confirmed that this repair is tied to the pending “advanced notice” rear brake hose recall affecting this vehicle platform, although the recall is not yet officially active. This failure created a serious safety hazard because the vehicle experienced sudden loss of braking, with no warning, while the vehicle was in motion creating a serious risk of collision, injury, or death to myself, my passengers, and others on the roadway because the vehicle could not safely stop under normal braking conditions. No prior warning lamps or brake failure warnings were observed before the incident.Read more

The Uconnect infotainment system is glitchy, blacks out, and has restarted itself. The dealership I purchased it from has currently had now for a 3rd time and over 30 days. The 2nd visit the screen was replaced and the same issues still exist. This is a huge safety concern, because the system has malfunctioned while in reverse which obstructs the rearview camera view. I can’t trust that rear sen
... sors aren’t tied into this and will apply the brakes if I get too close to something or someone/something suddenly goes behind me in reverse. The blind spot monitoring system has gone out a few times and this limits the lane keep assist functions. The dealership has said they can’t replicate the issue and the first time this happened no codes came up despite there being a stored message on digital cluster display. They have replaced a sensor module this time, but as they still have the vehicle I don’t know if this has fixed the problem or not. This is obviously a huge safety issue as it could case a wreck if someone is in a blind spot and I can’t see them and the vehicle can’t help alert me to this. It also seemed to slightly impact the handling of the vehicle as well causing me to consistently need to make micro adjustments of the steering while driving. Among those issues I have been having other commonly known issues with vehicle such as the “key fob has left vehicle” message despite the key fob still being inside the vehicle. It does not matter which key fob is used and the battery to the fob is good. The dealership can’t four that out either and have checked to make sure the serial numbers on the fobs match the VIN. The fan speed pop-up when shutting off the vehicle displaying 127 front/0 rear can’t be figured out either and dealership verified it has the most updated software versions currently available. A lot of these issues have been there since I purchased it 12/2025 or showed up within 1-2 months of owning it. Finally took it to the dealership in March.Read more
