My 2019 BMW X3 equipped with a B46 engine developed a significant coolant leak at approximately 80,000 miles. The vehicle displayed a low coolant warning, and coolant was visibly leaking underneath the vehicle. Around the same time, I began noticing excessive white exhaust/steam during cold starts and, for the first time since owning the vehicle, had to add engine oil between scheduled oil changes
... . The vehicle is currently undergoing inspection by an independent repair facility. Preliminary findings indicate concerns involving premature failure of critical plastic cooling system and/or oil filter housing components. Based on my research, these failures appear consistent with widespread complaints involving BMW B46/B48 engine cooling system and oil filter housing defects. I am concerned this defect could lead to sudden coolant loss, overheating, engine failure, or unsafe driving conditions. Prior to the coolant warning appearing, there were no significant alerts indicating a major or imminent cooling system failure. The apparent failure of critical plastic engine cooling components under normal driving conditions raises serious concerns regarding the durability and safety of these parts. I have photographs documenting the coolant leak, as well as detailed notes and diagnostic information from the repair facility, available upon request. The vehicle is available for inspection.Read more

This vehicle has experienced repeated catastrophic engine and drivability failures since purchase and has now undergone four engine replacements under warranty. Despite these major repairs, the vehicle continues to experience dangerous shutdown/stalling conditions. The primary safety issue occurs while braking or coming to a stop. The engine will suddenly shut off unexpectedly, creating a serious
... traffic hazard and leaving the vehicle unable or difficult to restart. This has occurred multiple times and creates a dangerous situation in traffic and at intersections. The vehicle remains under manufacturer warranty, however the defect has not been successfully repaired despite extensive service attempts and multiple complete engine replacements. The condition substantially impairs the safety, reliability, and use of the vehicle. This vehicle was acquired through a fleet/lease arrangement for company use and was not purchased for resale. It is a light-duty 1500-series pickup with approximately 7,100–7,200 GVWR used as a company vehicle. Complete repair history, diagnostic records, warranty repairs, and engine replacement documentation can be obtained from: Stevens GMC Bristol, Connecticut The vehicle has been repeatedly presented for repair and the defect remains unresolved. This appears to be a serious ongoing safety-related defect involving engine shutdown/stalling while braking or stopping.Read more

The infotainment/radio system in this 2021 Jeep Renegade has been malfunctioning for nearly two years. The dealership repeatedly states that no replacement parts are available and no repair can currently be performed. The system intermittently fails, freezes, reboots, or goes blank. When this occurs, the rear backup camera becomes unavailable or nonfunctional, creating a significant safety concern

Despite repeated attempts to obtain repair service, the manufacturer/dealership has not provided a remedy due to lack of available parts for over two years.Read more

Both my passenger and driver headlights have failed. I have paid to have them replaced. The drivers side has failed twice. The passenger side has failed 3 times. The message on the dash says “check headlight assembly see manual” This is a safety
... risk to me and other people on the road. They have failed while driving. If I am driving early in the morning or late at night I can not see if there are no street lights. People also can’t see me coming. This is a major safety risk. I bought the car in August 2024. Headlights have failed 5 times since then. The dealership helped me with my first four failures. On this last failure, they said it is not covered under warranty and that I need to pay $3000 for the headlight. Five failures of headlights seems like a manufacturer issue and not something. I received a recall notice on 3/19/2026 which stated my 2023 Palisade failed to meet safety standards due to "ejection mitigation." I called Hyundai directly for information after the dealership I purchased the car from had no information for me. Hyundai's customer service representative told me the third row was not safe for occupants and that I should not use it because in a roll over it could
... cause injury or death. She said there haven't been any reported yet but still, don't use it. They did not have a timeframe when it would be fixed. I called my dealership again on 5/20/2026 and asked for any information, compensation, a buyback, or if anything was available to me and they said "we are in the same boat as you. We haven't been able to sell our stock for 4 months. You've only had your notice for 2 months but we've been dealing with this for 4. Some people have been trading their cars in but other than that, there's nothing we can do for you." They said to call Hyundai directly. I called Hyundai and was told there was no information, no remedy, no compensation for the loss of use, no loaner car, or any other options. The representative then said "unfortunately we also cannot escalate your case because there have been no fatalities yet." I'm filing this complaint because it has been over 60 days since I received notice that my vehicle is unsafe, which has resulted in the total loss of use for 3 seats and yet I am still making the full monthly payments on this vehicle to the dealership. And, neither the dealership nor Hyundai is offering any remedy or assistance in any way. I should not have to wait until there is a fatality for Hyundai to act on my vehicles recall and offer some sort or resolution or compensation. I paid full price for the vehicle and should have use of all the vehicle or be given an alternative. Thank youRead more

I am reporting a safety-related driver visibility concern involving a 2025 Honda Pilot. I also observed substantially similar behavior on a 2026 Honda CR-V loaner vehicle and another Honda Pilot provided by Koons Honda. The issue involves the front driver and passenger windows and their interaction with the outer window seals/belt moldings. During rainy, snowy, foggy, or wet conditions, lowering a
... nd then raising the windows leaves significant moisture, streaking, fog residue, or debris on the glass surface. Current image shows fog residue, however, the same results occurred with snow where visibility was impaired after cycling the front driver and passenger windows. The outer window seals do not adequately clear the windows during normal operation. This results in impaired visibility around and through the side view mirrors, especially during lane changes, merging, and monitoring adjacent lanes. The condition is repeatable and occurs during ordinary use. I documented video evidence showing: •the issue on my 2025 Honda Pilot, •another Honda Pilot, •and the same/similar issue on a separate 2026 Honda CR-V loaner vehicle from Koons Honda. I presented the evidence to dealership personnel. However, the service manager refused to document that side mirror visibility was impaired, reportedly because such wording would imply a safety condition. This concern may involve: •ineffective window seal/belt molding performance, •excessive water retention on side windows, •impaired driver visibility, •and a potential safety defect affecting multiple Honda vehicles. The issue can create unsafe driving conditions because drivers may be unable to clearly observe adjacent traffic through side mirrors after operating the windows in wet conditions. Furthermore, similar reports are found online with different newer models. The date below reflects today's interaction with the dealership, however, this is an ongoing issue since we received the vehicle last year.Read more
