The light from the headlights on this brand new car flicker when driving over the slightest bump. On dirt roads or uneven pavement, the shake and flicker of the headlights is very prominent, even with the high beams turned on. This is a major safety hazard as the light from the headlights is not consistent and the flicker gives intermittent lighting outages of the road ahead - literally leaving th
... e driver to drive blind. The flicker/bounce of the lighting is also highly distracting for a driver and creates an ongoing safety hazard due to this design flaw in the vehicle. Please force a recall for the Subaru Uncharted headlights. This is a widespread issue with this model.Read more

My 2024 Volkswagen Jetta has about 14,429 miles, driven almost entirely on the highway between two Texas cities, with little city traffic and no mountain driving. The rear brakes are wearing out far faster than normal. At a dealer inspection on June 15, 2026, the rear linings measured 1 mm and 2 mm, nearly gone, while the front linings still measured 10 mm. This is the reverse of normal wear, sin
... ce the fronts do most of the braking and should wear first. The vehicle is available for inspection. This is not sudden. A prior dealer inspection on July 7, 2025 already showed the rear linings (9 mm) more worn than the fronts (11 mm). Between the two inspections the fronts lost about 1 mm while the rears lost about 7 to 8 mm, so the rears are wearing many times faster than the fronts. Both inspections were done and documented by an authorized Volkswagen dealer. Given the low mileage and highway-only use, this cannot be normal wear. The rears are approaching metal-to-metal at very low mileage, which compromises braking and is unsafe. The pattern points to a mechanical defect, such as a seized rear caliper or a dragging or malfunctioning electronic parking brake that keeps the rear brakes partially applied. Premature rear brake wear is widely reported on this model, and the manufacturer issued a rear brake pad warranty extension for affected vehicles, acknowledging excessive wear and possible workmanship issues. No crash, fire, or injury has occurred. I am reporting this so the defect can be investigated and other owners protected.Read more

The manufacturer became aware of this issue approximately six months ago. At this time, no repair is available. I am driving to a remote location without consistent phone service and the manufacturer and dealer will not offer a loaner vehicle. I believe that Land Rover should offer a trade in for a new vehicle without this issue.

My crankshaft broke on the highway. I was travelling at around 70mph. No warnings were given. I lost all power and had to limp it off to the side of the road. The engine was replaced under warranty. This is an ongoing issue for 2016-2019 Nissan Titans. Folks are left with worthless vehicles because they are outside of their warranty period when it happens.

Vehicle purchased new off the showroom floor with 22 miles, driven locally only and garage kept. At 270 miles, upon starting the vehicle the engine was shaking and idling rough exactly like a misfiring cylinder would. The check engine light immediately turned on and started flashing and the engined bogged down and stopped. The dealership towed it to their shop and witness the rough idle themselves
... . When diagnosing the fault, it was confirmed 3 cylinders were misfiring due to "catalytic converter sensor" that triggered the engine to misfire for "protection reasons". The dealership checked the distributor and spark plug wires with no issues found, ultimately they reset the code which immediately returned the engine to proper function and idling. They drove it for 60 miles confirming proper function. Their "theory" is possible bad gas could have been put in the engine prior to the dealership buying the vehicle?? We told the dealership that we have not even put gas in the vehicle ourselves yet thus no fault on us for this postulated issue.Read more

Tire size: 245/50R20 102V. All four original equipment tires (Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 H452) developed sidewall failures at approximately 29,000-30,000 miles of normal driving. All four tires showed identical diagonal stress cracking across the upper sidewall, consistent with sidewall flex fatigue. One tire showed visible outward bulging/deformation of the sidewall, indicating internal structural
... separation. Two tires had areas of outer sidewall rubber torn away with internal cord material exposed. No warning light appeared prior to discovering the damage upon visual inspection. This presented a serious safety risk, as a sidewall in this condition can rupture suddenly at highway speed, causing sudden air loss and potential loss of vehicle control. The vehicle was used for daily driving, including with family passengers, before the damage was found. The tires were inspected and replaced by an independent tire retailer, who confirmed all four required replacement. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance. This same tire model was previously subject to an NHTSA recall (Campaign 15T024) for sidewall cracking on a different size/application, and there is a documented pattern of similar consumer complaints describing sidewall cracking and failure on this tire line, including on other Hyundai models. These were original equipment tires with no known prior impact, collision, or unusual road event before the damage was discovered.Read more

2 of 245/40HR18XL & 2 of 225/45HR18XL... All 4 tires replaced I purchased a 2023 Mercedes-Benz C300 from Benzel Busch motor car (an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer) in [XXX] in XXX. Since purchase, this vehicle has had repeated, unresolved defects. The Check Engine warning light has illuminated numurous times, resulting 4 separate towing incidents. Despite multiple warranty repairs, the same i
... ssues keep recurring. At only 10,167 miles, one tire required replacement due to abnormal wear. At only 22,780 miles, all 4 tires required full replacement for the same reason. In total 5 tires have been replaced within 22,780 miles, strongly suggesting an underlying vehicle defect (alignment, suspension or steering) rather then normal wear. I paid $1,700 out of picket for the 22,780 miles tire replacement, as tires are not typically covered under warranty. I believe this cost resulted directly from an unresolved vehicle defect, not drive behavior. I filed a formal complaint with Mercedes-Benz USA Customer Assistance Center and received Case No. XXX. I was told reimbursement would not be provided. Desired Resolution: Reimbursement of $1,700 for the tire replacement caused by an unresolved vehicle defect, and a written explanation of how Mercedes-Benz USA will address the recurring mechanical issues. Supporting docyments available: Repair orders, tire receipt, email correspondence. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

While driving at night with the Headlights on Low Beam the light that is projected onto the road is a dull yellowish color, not a bright white color. When the High Beam Lights are turned on there is no difference of the light being projected onto the road. While driving from [XXX] to [XXX] on [XXX] I noticed that I was unable to see or read the Exit Signs for any of the Exit Off Ramps or even t
... he Mileage Signs the show the mileage to the next Towns. When I switched from Low Beam to High Beam it made no difference on Illuminating the Road Signs. When I returned to my home I took the car into the Kia Dealer with the complaint that the Headlights were not working properly. They adjusted the Headlights up higher, so now the Low Beam did Illuminate the Road Signs, but they seemed to High and still had the yellowish color. When the High Beams were turned on it still made no difference in Illuminating the Road. Again I took the car back to the Kia Dealer and they Readjusted the Headlights back to what they said was the Factory Settings. I was then told that if I was not satisfied I could try purchasing some Aftermarket Headlight Bulbs from an Independent Parts Store. This is an Unsafe Condition because I can't see obstructions that may be in the roadway and have enough time to safely maneuver around it. Since this happens at Night the Dealer doesn't have personal to replicate the problem due to the Dealer Service Department is only open during daylight hours. The electronic parking brake controller failed after intermittent warnings that began while the vehicle was still under warranty. The parking brake actuator also failed and had to be replaced. The electronic parking brake system is part of the vehicle’s safety system, and the failure caused the parking brake to malfunction unpredictably. The issue did not store persistent diagnostic codes, makin
... g it difficult to diagnose earlier. This is a safety concern because it affects the vehicle’s ability to hold position when parked and can interfere with braking and stability control. Purchased my F 150 2017 King Ranch New from Auto Nation in Ft Worth Texas. Started having transmission problems and dealer did several computer updates. Moved in 2020 to Caldwell Texas and problems continued. Very hard shifting between gears (loud bang and jerking of vehicle). Then twice while traveling at about 60 miles per hour the transmission appeared to shift to much lower gear and engi
... ne RPM jumped to red line on tack. Required emergency move to shoulder because speed was also reduced. New Ford Dealer in Caldwell was unable to duplicate problem but recommended I take to a transmission expert (Oliver Brothers Transmission, Bryan Texas). Had dealer change fluids in transmission and rear differential before taking to Oliver Bros. Oliver Brothers believed the transmission may have a bad valve body. At that time I was afraid of transmission down shifting at the wrong time and causing me to wreck. Took back to Ford Dealership in Caldwell and told them to replace transmission. They replaced complete transmission and the hard shifting went away and so did the down shifting, this was 06/2023. I later traded in the truck for a new 2024 F 150.Read more

I am wanting to share my concerns about my 2019 Ford Edge. My Edge has 64,500 miles on it and the transmission needs replacing; it is sitting in my back driveway. Before that, I had noticed some issues about jerking and revving up so I took it to the nearest Ford dealership - after hooking it up to the computer several times (while it was UNDER 60,000 miles on the odometer), the dealership told me that they changed a few things on the computer and 'it would drive like hell for a while, but it will get used to my driving and get better' !! After contacting them more, they told me that it needed a new throttle body. I wanted a second opinion so a friend trailered it to another Ford dealership and they tested the transmission liquids and told me that it needs a new transmission. (It was now over 60K.) Ford said that if I would pay them $4500, they MIGHT cover the other the $4500 for the new transmission. I had my Edge for about a year when this happened and now it has been sitting in my driveway since last summer!! I am still making the monthly payment on it, plus full coverage insurance for a pretty driveway ornament. My friend found paperwork regarding transmissions like mine having troubles (and he showed it to the local dealership - they did nothing) so I have been watching for recalls on the transmission. If you have any suggestions, etc please let me know - I do not have $4500 to fix my car...... When this all started, I contacted Ford and started a case on it. (8/26/24). Case #XXX. Purchased 2019 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Edition with the 6.2L engine and 143K miles for my son. The vehicle had a clean service history on Car Fax. On the day we purchased the vehicle, we drove it home and noticed it was shuttering at times. I used my computer scanner and it came back with a misfire cylinder #5. I troubleshot the issues and noted that the most common thing was a spark plug
... . Therefore, I replaced the spark plug and it drove much better. Two weeks later, my son was driving vehicle on I-40 near Nashville TN and without warning, vehicle stalled, locking steering wheel in place! Check engine lights came on and instructed him to place in neutral and restart, which he promptly did. The vehicle started, but went in limp mode making loud noises in engine before shutting off again. Luckily, traffic was minimal at 8 pm and he was able to get it over to the shoulder and avoid any injuries or accident. Towed it to Nick Mayer Chevrolet in Dickson, TN where they diagnosed it with catastrophic engine failure and needed to be completely replaced. This is the same issue that GM is being sued for and have somehow managed to take the stance that the lifter/cam/DFM issue only existed in 2020-newer models. The 2019 is when they changed to the newer body style and the new Gen V L87 engine in the 6.2. Despite the clean vehicle history, dealership reached out to GM and they stated they would not help cover any repairs but would gladly take 14K to fix it. The 2019-2026 models all need to be recalled due to this safety issue and fixed before catastrophic engine failure claims another victim financially or worse!Read more

After some varying amount of reattemtps to turn on car, the dashboard screen will go through same messages: "fauly engine" and go through sensors not found or working etc. After these messages appear, then the car is able to start normally. I have taken this car in to 2 different Ford dealerships, 1 Buick/GMC dealership, and 2-3 independent auto shops, all of which cannot get the vehicle to replicate the issue enough times for them to diagnose the car. ... arlier, on 9/30/2026, Tri-County Powersports (Moorpark, CA) had performed NHTSA Safety Recall 24V-820 on this motorcycle, replacing the primary drive gear bolt on the crankshaft as the recall remedy. After the failure, the motorcycle was taken to Tri-County Powersports on April 22, 2026 (Repair Order XXX). The dealer's technician reported unusual engine noise, confirmed the motorcycle would not drive forward, removed the clutch cover, and found it full of metal debris. A large portion of the debris is aluminum, and the failure is located in the primary-drive and dual-clutch area — the same region serviced under Recall 24V-820 about 1,000 miles before the failure. The dealer estimated approximately $7,167 to remove the engine, replace both dual-clutch assemblies and the oil pump, and flush the oil system. Because this catastrophic failure occurred in the same area addressed by Recall 24V-820, only about 1,000 miles after the recall remedy was performed, I believe this is a failure or recurrence of the recalled defect following the remedy. The motorcycle was properly maintained with regular oil changes (records available). Repair orders and photographs of the debris and failed components are available on request. I have 112,000 miles on my truck and my 6.2l motor is going out or knocking. I am very unhappy that my truck is not covered under the recall and I would like to understand why it is not since this is the issue of the recall. I would like to clarification on this and what options I have since it is going to cost me 14k to replace the motor. Case #101943027

The Multipurpose front camera just went out and a series of many warning lights came on in my Honda Pilot. The camera just stopped working for no reason, with no warning and never an issue before. I took my Honda Pilot to the Honda Dealership service department to have it checked and resolved. The dealers resolution was quoting me $2,000.00 just for the camera, with no labor or calibration, that i
... s extra. They told me its a glitch in the Honda's system and that's probable why the camera stopped working. They told me they are not responsible for the camera and won't replace it. They showed no concern for safety and I had to pick up the vehicle if I did not replace, at my cost, the $2000.00 camera plus labor and calibration which may be around $3000.00 all told. I can't believe that if this is a known problem to Honda and Honda is aware of it in their system, why aren't they responsible to replace a faulty manufacturing problem. Honda is passing their problem to consumers at a cost of $2000.00 just for a camera. This should be unacceptable and it is outrageous the fact that Honda knows of a problem in their system that creates a safety problem and still are allowed to have the financial burden put on the consumer with no accountability. I had 2 other recalls on file and nothing was done. With the warning lights on, I am very concerned of the major safety issue. I don't believe, I as a consumer, should be responsible for the cost of a manufacturing issue. Now I have a vehicle with a safety issue and an extremely high cost resolution. I wanted to inform you because I believe that I am not the only person this has happened too and hopefully you can address this issue with Honda. Thank you.Read more

There was a tailgate recall for the tailgate falling down potentially spilling cargo onto the road. The dealership Autonation Dodge in [XXX] tried fixing the recall multiple times but the tailgate kept falling down after they tried to fix it 2 or 3 times. Now they're trying to make me sign a service fee authorization which I don't agree with because either the recall isn't fixed, or there are othe

On May 25th, 2026 multiple dashboard warning lights flashed simultaneously while I was driving indicating an immediate engine issue, all warning alerts showed up. Next day, the engine exhibited a structural shudder/shake. The vehicle has otherwise always been perfectly maintained and operated flawlessly, thus, I called the dealership/ they gave me an appointment for the next day, after their inspe
... ction, they said that they need to replace the head gasket, timing chain set, and fuel injectors simultaneously; i learnt the imminent safety hazard i was exposed to! Operating a vehicle with an active internal fluid leak and compromised cylinder sealing creates an unpredictable driving hazard, putting occupants at risk of being stranded or rear-ended due to sudden engine failure. This proves that this is a systemic thermal defect affecting the structural integrity of the 1.5L turbo powertrain. The dealership stated the vehicle requires a top-end engine rebuild, specifically: a head gasket, spark plugs, fuel injectors, and a timing chain set. This is unacceptable given that my car is only 58.8K miles. I purchased the car brand new and always take good care, this issue is putting tens of thousands of dollars at financial risk! Now, on top of that, they want me to pay around $ 6,000 thousand dollars for a well-documented 1.5L engineering defect. This will destroy my trust in the brand and guarantee I will never buy a Honda again. This should be a safety recall, and why must I pay for their manufacture's issue? Is not fair.Read more
