I bought this car in 2024 and after 3,000 miles it was unrepairable. The first incident, I was driving and the car started flashing and beeping, telling me to pull over and exit the vehicle immediately. I brought it to the dealership and after a few days they returned it and said it was a software update. The next day, while driving to work, the vehicle again started flashing lights and beeping an
... d told me to Pull Over and Exit the Vehicle immediately. The vehicle continued to flash and beep until I could pull over and stop, which unfortunately I was on the freeway, in between barriers and had to drive 17 more miles with it in panic mode. Almost 4 months later, I got the vehicle back and again, after driving a short time, I experienced a TOTAL electrical failure. The brakes, power steering, hill descent, etc ALL stopped working! After being in the shop a little over a month, again, I was told it was a software update and sent on my way. That night, while driving home, the Auto Brake Hold ENGAGED while I was driving and my vehicle jerked back and forth continually. Again it went to the dealership, and again I was told it was due to a software update and that is now how Land Rover had programmed it and I just was not used to it. When I tried to explain how I could not drive because of the continuous jerking, I was told there was nothing they can do.Read more

While driving the car the engine lost all rpm, as in it went to zero rpms. The electrical system did not lose power. The console flashed a red warning light and had a message that I should shift to park or neutral, and restart the engine. You must apply the brake to restart the engine. When you shift to park/neutral and restart the engine, everything works fine. There was absolutely no warn
... ing that this was going to happen. No noises, no console warning lights, nothing. I believe it is a matter of time before this causes an accident. The engine just quits without warning. It has happened mostly at lower speeds while decelerating or braking, but has occurred once on a highway. Should this issue happen in high traffic, or high speed, it could absolutely cause an accident. The car has been at a dealership since 21MAY over this issue. They have driven it, but have not found anything wrong. They found no stored error codes. We have had a loaner vehicle since then. I'm fearful they will force us to take the car back.Read more

Incident date: Jan 1, 2025
This is reporting an issue with v14.3.3 and v14.3.4 of Tesla Full Self Driving (FSD) Supervised. This month I have driven over 4,000 miles with FSD enabled, approximately 2/3rd on 14.3.3 and 1/3 on 14.3.4. FSD has regularly failed to respect speed limit changes, even though it seems to recognize / observe the speed limit signs. I am certain it’s observing the signs because it renders them on the
... in-car display, but it doesn’t actually adjust its speed in response to those signs. The most egregious of cases have been when driving through Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona where the speed limit is often 75 mph on Interstate highways (e.g., [XXX]). On multiple occasions the vehicle has ignored construction speed limit changes to 55 mph, and instead has tried to maintain 75-80 mph through the construction zone. Not only could that get me a nasty speeding ticket, but it could also put construction workers lives at risk. It has also happened in non-construction zones, like when on a non-interstate highway that passes through towns and reduces speed when doing so. It doesn’t fail 100% of the time, but it has been an issue more than 50% of the time I enter a construction zone. The rear bumper of my recently purchased vehicle is physically misaligned and structurally deformed. Dealership service personnel initially acknowledged the defect and ordered repair parts, but later refused to fix it, claiming it is 'within factory specification.' This structural misalignment directly impacts the orientation of the vehicle's rear safety sensors, blind-spot monitors, and cross-tra

The failed component is the YAW rate sensor, original part number A1635426340 (ATE part number 10.0980-0454.2), manufactured by ATE. I have experienced multiple incidents of sudden, unintended braking at highway speeds. These events occurred without warning and created an immediate and significant risk of a serious collision, endangering not only myself and my family but also other motorists shar
... ing the roadway. While the defect has not been reproduced or confirmed by either a Mercedes-Benz dealer or an independent repair facility, the absence of a successful diagnosis does not diminish the seriousness of the safety hazard. In fact, your agency opened an investigation into this issue in 2007, yet no corrective action was ultimately taken despite reports indicating that more than 100,000 vehicles may have been affected. According to publicly available information, Mercedes-Benz inspected and evaluated the YAW rate sensor in May 2007 as part of its review of this issue. The continued occurrence of sudden, unintended braking events raises concerns that the underlying defect may not have been fully addressed. Most concerning is that there were no warning lamps, fault messages, or other observable symptoms prior to the braking events. The vehicle operated normally until the moment the unintended braking occurred, leaving the driver with no opportunity to anticipate or prevent a potentially catastrophic situation.Read more

Complaint Regarding Ongoing Issues After Turbocharger Repair – 2019 Honda Accord I am submitting a complaint regarding ongoing issues with my 2019 Honda Accord after a turbocharger-related repair. The initial diagnostic code associated with the vehicle was P2563 (Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance). After the turbocharger/wastegate repair, my vehicle began dis
... playing multiple system warnings, including: * Emissions System Problem * ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) warning * Collision Mitigation System warning * Lane Departure/Lane Keeping Assist warning * Electric Power Steering warning * Stability/traction control warnings * TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) warning After the repair, the vehicle began jerking and experiencing a loss of power. Multiple warning lights appeared. While the warning lights temporarily cleared after a couple of vehicle restarts, they later returned and continue to reoccur. I subsequently took the vehicle to Honda, where I was informed that a sensor required recalibration. Despite having the sensor recalibrated, the issues have continued, and the warning lights continue to return. I am requesting that Honda investigate whether the repair, wiring, sensors, modules, calibration, or the turbocharger system itself may have contributed to these ongoing problems. I have also noticed that many Honda Accord owners are reporting similar turbocharger-related issues and multiple warning lights appearing. This appears to be a very common issue among affected vehicles, and I believe it warrants further investigation to determine if there is a larger underlying problem affecting these vehicles. I am requesting that Honda review this matter, document these concerns, and provide a proper resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Read more

The A/C failed completely, blowing hot air (80+°F) in extreme Phoenix heat. The issue recurred identically after a dealer misdiagnosis and gas recharge last year. A formal inspection by Showcase Honda on May 28, 2026 (RO# 838832), confirmed a dual leak: the A/C Compressor Shaft Seal (under warranty extension) and the A/C Evaporator Core were leaking refrigerant simultaneously. Due to severe local
... heat waves, repairs were completed at the dealer on June 15, 2026. Invoices are available upon request. This defect severely risks vehicle safety. Driving in Arizona's 100+°F heat without A/C causes immediate heat exhaustion for passengers. Also, losing the defroster causes sudden windshield fogging during humidity shifts, creating a blind visibility hazard. No warning lamps preceded the failure. Crucially, the 10-year warranty extension is rapidly expiring for early 10th-gen Civic owners, leaving us unprotected. NHTSA must mandate Honda to extend the compressor/condenser warranty to a LIFETIME warranty. Furthermore, because the Evaporator Core inherently fails at the exact same time due to the same loop defect, Honda must expand coverage to include the Evaporator Core as a fully covered component. Partial coverage is a widespread safety hazard and a financial injustice for consumers.Read more

While driving my brand new 2026 Buick Envista Avenir with only 347 miles on the odometer, the vehicle became difficult to control and multiple warning messages and service lights illuminated simultaneously: “Brake System Failure — Your driving speed is being restricted as braking may be difficult,” “Service Brake Assist — Your vehicle may not brake automatically or assist in braking when
... it detects a likely collision,” and “Steering Assist is Reduced — Drive with Care.” I pulled over immediately and contacted OnStar who advised the vehicle was unsafe to drive and arranged for a tow. The vehicle was towed to the selling dealer the same day, January 13, 2026, and remained in the dealer’s possession for 31 days for diagnosis and repair, until February 13, 2026. The dealer replaced multiple primary braking components: electronic brake control module (EBCM), brake master cylinder, power brake booster, and reservoir kit. These repairs involved both the vehicle’s electronic control systems and major hydraulic/mechanical brake components. The simultaneous multiple critical warnings, the loss of full brake response/control, the restriction of driving speed, and the reduction of steering assist show that core systems responsible for stopping and vehicle control were compromised. Replacing the EBCM along with major hydraulic components indicates a complex, systemic malfunction. This failure created immediate danger on the road, forced an extended out of service period for a new vehicle, and caused a month long significant disruption and expense. A primary safety system failing at such low mileage raises serious concerns about reliability and the risk of loss of braking performance, which could lead to a crash and endanger vehicle occupants and other road users. Consumers should be aware that a brand-new vehicle with only 347 miles stopped operating safely without cause, under normal driving conditions, and required replacement of major hydraulic/mechanical brake components.Read more

The driver‑side mirror on my 2024 Honda CR‑V Hybrid Sport has a persistent vibration issue that affects visibility and safety. At speeds above approximately 65–70 mph, the mirror shakes noticeably, making it difficult to clearly see vehicles in adjacent lanes. This creates a significant safety concern when changing lanes, merging, or monitoring traffic. The mirror assembly was already repla
... ced once by my Honda dealer, but the vibration has returned and is now worse than before. This indicates that the issue is not limited to a single defective part but may be related to the design, mounting, or structural stability of the mirror assembly on this model. Many other owners of 2023 and 2024 Honda CR‑V models have reported the same driver‑side mirror vibration problem through online forums and NHTSA complaints. The pattern suggests a widespread defect that affects visibility and could increase the risk of accidents, especially at highway speeds. Because this is a repeat failure that impacts safe operation of the vehicle, I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this issue. The vibration reduces the driver’s ability to accurately judge surrounding traffic and creates a potential hazard. Please document this as a recurring safety defect associated with my VIN.Read more

Summary of issue The vehicle developed an engine/emission warning light and failed mechanically without any crash or impact. The car drove fine until about one week ago. I have driven the vehicle normally and performed regular maintenance. Events and observations A warning light appeared indicating engine and emission problems. I took the vehicle to two separate mechanics: Mechanic A diagnosed e
... ngine damage and catalytic converter issues. Mechanic B diagnosed engine damage and a possible fuel pump problem. I am not a mechanic and cannot independently interpret technical findings, but both inspections indicate serious engine-related failures. The vehicle has approximately 80,000 miles and was purchased for more than $20,000 less than two years ago. No collisions, impacts, or abuse occurred that could explain the failure. I believe this is a potential manufacturing defect. I contacted a Honda dealer about the problem; they stated it is not a manufacturing defect and declined to accept responsibility for repair. I believe the dealer is avoiding responsibility. Requested action I request NHTSA open an investigation (or add my report to any existing investigation) into this vehicle’s engine and related components to determine whether a safety defect or noncompliance exists. I request guidance on next steps and that this complaint be considered in any recall evaluation.Read more
