COMPONENTS FAILED & EVIDENCE: 4 dry-rotted Kumho Crugen Premium tires, size 225/60R17, DOT 272A YANH 1319. Replaced due to hazard. High-definition photo proof of the severe dry rot defects, deep tread cracking, and the 2019 date stamps discovered upon removal is fully preserved and available.SAFETY RISK & CONCEALMENT: Operating on 7-year-old structurally compromised rubber posed a severe blowout l
... iability on the highway. At delivery, 3 of the 4 tires were mounted inside-out. This reversed mounting placed the worst dry rot cracking and the 4-digit date code (1319, meaning March 2019 manufacture) on the inner undercarriage, actively obscuring a critical safety defect and the expiration date from a standard consumer visual inspection.NEGLIGENT INSPECTION HISTORY: The dealer had physical possession of this vehicle twice: first for pre-sale certification, and second for post-sale service. Prior to the second release, the consumer explicitly texted instructions to ensure the vehicle was completely safe with no issues. The service bay subsequently texted back confirming they performed a "once over" and verified "no issues." The dealer twice failed its duty of care, ignored a critical hazard, and falsely certified road-readiness. Corporate legal has been notified and is stonewalling.DISCOVERY & SEVERE SYMPTOMS: Failure was discovered only after a nail punctured the rear passenger tire, prompting a close inspection of all four wheels. Two weeks prior, all 4 tires simultaneously dropped to half-capacity air pressure. This simultaneous deflation indicates the extensive dry rot completely compromised the rubber compound's structural integrity and ability to hold air pressure, creating a progressive failure condition. ALL 4 TIRES WERE SEVERELY DRYROT.Read more

On at least 6-8 occasions car engine has shut off and car is automatically placed in emergency brake. This then requires you to place car in park, then restart vehicle. This happens while driving on interstate and when car slows down for traffic car engine without warning, will shut off, car will then automatically turn on emergency brake forcing sudden stop in interstate hwy traffic. Very dangero
... us as you have to place car in Park and restart engine. Cars behind you are now slamming on brakes to avoid rear end collision. This has also occurred while sitting at traffic light when again car engine shuts off and has to be placed in park to restart. There is no warning, no warning lights, no check engine after incident occurs and according to dealership no engine codes recorded due to incident. I have left car at dealership on several occasion for several days. I believe it was replicated at dealership but again it registers no codes in engine computer to help resolve issue. When a car traveling down the interstate suddenly shuts down it is extremely dangerous placing my car and family at risk as well as any traveling behind us. Dealership has not been able to resolve issue. They can update software and the car will go several weeks without issue then suddenly you are back to engine shut down again I am second owner of 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S II Carbine. Leased vehicle 7-25-24. Driver’s rear tire had ongoing slow leak beginning several months after start of lease. We filled with air and reset stored tire pressure. This would last a couple months and same tire would begin to lose some pressure again. Finally at our 20,000 mile scheduled checkup, Polestar service advised to purchase a new tire, which we did, 3/19/26. The car was delivered back to
... us within a couple of days. On 5/7/26, that same tire completely blew out while driving on the freeway. Was able to exit freeway without an accident, but driving on rim. Towed to Polestar service who diagnosed rim cracked. Both tire and rim completely replaced. Though we paid 5/18/26 (see invoice), we did not receive car as we had to wait for insurance inspection which took a very long time for Polestar and insurance to connect - both poor communication. We ended up doing all their legwork. Finally received car back approximately one month later, after 6/1/26. We discovered within a couple days that the tire sensor system was not working, when it worked prior to the repair. Also key fobs didn’t work. Within 2-3 weeks, the same tire was leaking again, visibly lower than the other tires. Asked Polestar roadside service to pickup vehicle 6/29/26. We were notified that there was some ‘piece of metal’ in the tire and the tire could not be patched because the tire was driven on while low, which of course we did not know because the tire sensor system was not functioning properly. Here we are again, Polestar telling us we need to buy yet another driver’s side rear tire.Read more

Vehicle received federal recall 01A service (high pressure fuel pump replacement) at an authorized Chrysler/Jeep dealership on 05/14/2026 at 97,055 miles. I drove the vehicle normally for approximately two weeks (roughly 950 miles), then parked it in my garage awaiting a separate warranty part for the intake manifold. On 07/03/2026, during that warranty repair at the same dealership at approximate
... ly 98,000 miles, the dealership’s own technician discovered a diesel fuel leak at the fuel injector supply tube. This line must be disturbed to access and replace the high pressure fuel pump during the recall procedure and is a single-use component. No fuel leak or fuel system issue existed or was documented before the recall service; the vehicle was scanned at the same dealership at intake and the only issue found was an intake manifold valve actuation code unrelated to the fuel system. The leak was confirmed by the dealership and the component is available for inspection; I have requested the removed part be returned to me. Safety risk: the vehicle was driven on public roads for roughly 950 miles while, unknown to me, a fuel line disturbed during recall service was developing a leak. Pressurized diesel leaking in the engine compartment is a fire and roadway hazard. The dealership is charging me for the part and labor rather than covering it under the recall remedy, which provides for replacement of additional fuel system components as necessary free of charge. My concern is an improperly performed or incomplete recall remedy resulting in a fuel leak.Read more

The safety incident occured on April 20, 2026, when my 2016 Expedition EL failed to stay in park on a flat level parking lot causing significant safety concerns for my vehicle and all other vehicles with the same components. My car was parked for 4-5 minutes in front of the school my son attends and because he was sick the morning I parked my vehicle in front of the main entrance of the schol in a
... n approved parking place, I left the car running while I went inside to turn in an assignment due that morning. After giving it to the front office person and explaining which teacher it needed to be given to, I turned around to return to my vehicle only to witness my car begin moving. It rolled 2-3 car lengths before it slammed into the back of a Coca-Cola Vendor truck and stopped. I was not able to catch it before the accident happened. I knew the vehicle was not safe to drive, so I had the Expedition towed to the local Ford dealership in town. The certified Ford dealership discoovered the problem when performing diagnostics as they were able to reproduce the problem. The "parking PAWL return spring not securely locking into park. found the parking PAWL worn and the return spring collapsed meaning nothing was locking the transmission into park" There were zero warning notifcations on the electrical messaging panel to alert a driver to this potentially dangerous problem. The outcome of this situation pose a horrific risk to pedestrians, and passengers when a vehicle can begin moving into "Drive" with no passenger behind the wheel.Read more

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my 2023 Kia K5 and the unacceptable experience I have had following a dangerous brake system failure. On Wednesday June 24th, while driving on Route 22 in New Jersey, my vehicle's brakes suddenly became extremely hard, making it incredibly difficult to stop. There were no lights on indicating an issue, neither any concerning sounds prior to this
... incident. I came dangerously close to being involved in an accident and was left extremely shaken. The situation was serious enough that my father had to come retrieve both me and my vehicle because I no longer felt safe driving it. I brought my vehicle to the Kia dealership on Friday, where I was informed that the repair would cost over $1,000. I find this extremely concerning given that Kia has previously recalled brake system components on other models for similar issues. While I understand my vehicle may not currently be included in that recall, a brake system failure on a 2023 vehicle is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about safety and product reliability. To make matters worse, I never even received a phone call from the service department to explain what was wrong with my vehicle or discuss the recommended repairs. Instead, I received nothing more than a text message with a link to a video. The first words I heard were, "Your brakes are really bad." For a customer who had just experienced a frightening brake failure that nearly resulted in an accident, I expected the courtesy of a direct phone call to explain the diagnosis, answer my questions, and discuss my options. Receiving only a video link felt impersonal and dismissive given the seriousness of the situation. After repeated back and forth with Kia corporate over the span of two weeks they determined that the repairs are on me, and I was offered nothing, even though this issue was of no fault of my own.Read more

During a family road trip, my 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (~9,000 miles, less than one year old) suddenly showed red "Check Electric Vehicle System" and 12V battery warning lights and then completely lost power. The 12V system failed entirely - the vehicle could not be driven or shifted, and the doors and the rear hatch could not be locked or unlocked. It had to be flat-bedded to a Hyundai dealer because
... it was completely inoperable. The dealer diagnosed a failed ICCU (Integrated Charging Control Unit) and a blown ICCU safety fuse (fault code P1A9096) and is replacing both under warranty; the component is available for inspection. The ICCU converts high-voltage battery power to charge the 12V system; when it fails, the vehicle loses all electrical power and drive capability. The warning lamps appeared immediately before total power loss, with no prior symptoms at the last scheduled service. This is a known, safety-critical failure on this platform: a sudden, complete loss of power can strand occupants and, if it occurs while driving, cause loss of motive power - a serious crash risk. My vehicle was stationary when it failed, but the same failure at speed would be extremely dangerous. I have video evidence of the car completely bricked out.Read more

2024 Dodge Durango, purchased brand new. AC completely stopped working at 340 miles after buying. Vehicle has had 7+ dealership visits since purchase. Vehicle has been out of service for 40+days total. Currently, vehicle has been at dealer since June 24, 2026 and is still not returned as of July 9, 2026 — 16 days ongoing with no resolution. I request NHTSA look into this. Electrical/HVAC: Con
... stant leaking and repeated failures since 340 miles. AC intermittently will not blow air at all, especially when first starting vehicle. System makes loud hissing/whistling sound from dash. Dealer has replaced the A/C condenser, discharge line, compressor, and evaporator core. On one visit, dealer found AC dye present at the HVAC box drain tube indicating evaporator core was leaking. On another visit, dealer noted system was slightly low and stated "not sure if vehicle was charged properly when the condenser was replaced." System still leaks and fails. AC failure in Tennessee summer heat creates risk of heat exhaustion and prevents defroster use. Issue still not repaired. Power Train: Transmission was misfiring and vehicle jolts forward when shifting into drive. Dealer performed transmission reprogramming. Dealer initially claimed they were unable to duplicate the concern and that it "operates as designed." Concern not resolved. Engine: Had to have all spark plugs replaced at approximately 9,000 miles due to misfire issues. Fuel/Propulsion System: Gas/fuel smell reported. Dealer noted system was slightly low. Body/Interior: During repeated dashboard removals for AC repairs, dealer did not properly reassemble vehicle. A screw was left out, causing dash to rattle. Dealer also removed carpet and improperly reinstalled, causing damage. All defects occurred under 10,000 miles. Dealer has performed multiple major component replacements on the AC system. Issue still persists. Vehicle has severe diminished value due to 9+ repair attempts and 40+days out of service. Legal case .Read more

When this has happened the low oil pressure indicator illuminates. The oil sight glas
... s shows oil level to be at max. I use ExxonMobil 93 fuel. I had taken the motorcycle in to conduct service for the same issue (the motorcycle stalled while in 1st gear at a stoplight) and an existing recall repair had been done about a week ago. The motorcycle has been emitting a strange odor since the repair that I am not sure what it is from.Read more

For about a year now the front facing camera throw 5 warnings, my cruise dont work, and it cost 2200 to fix. I follow a honda group on fb and apparently this is the main complaint. Something needs to be done bc it is very un sage to have all these safety features and they may r may not work

I bought a 2012 silver Acura MDX on March 3rd in 2022 from our local Acura dealership. Exterior paint was great, hardly any dings, scratches anywhere. I spent over $20,000 for this USED CAR and as of the past two years, the clear coat has worn out in various places on front hood, near the moon roof, near the rear side door windows, near the rack on top, near the back hatch window. It's absolutely
... embarrassing and I find it interesting/maddening that I have seen two others MDX's around town that have the same issues with paint. WHY IS THERE NOT A RECALL? MY 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY paint doesn't have this issue, why is Acura inferior to Honda? I always thought Acura was higher end. But clearly, they went cheap on paint and want their Acura MDX's to look like trash. WHAT IS A FIX FOR THIS? I CAN NOT AFFORD TO REPAINT CAR ON MY OWN.Read more

The handle on the sliding door and driver's side broke off. We have replaced it twice already and it keeps breaking. This has not happened to me with any of my other cars in the past or present until now. It's unkown to me and it shows the part was not done well. What caught my attention is that I saw another mazda5 minivan without a handle which made me think that this is a problem with this
... type of car. I'm surprised it doesn't have a recall. Please help us with this. Thank you.Read more

My wife was in a crash that totaled my 2004 Camry. She swerved to miss a deer and was pulled off the road and into two utility poles and several areas of fence. None of the airbags deployed and the crash was well over the 14 mph speed limit suggested for the airbags to deploy. My wife was seriously injured and was lucky the seatbelt held her back. She spent time in a hospital and broken two ribs a
... nd bruised her heart. This could have been avoided if the airbags deployed. No warning signs and the vehicle was inspected on time every time. No recalls.Read more

My Tesla's FSD turned off midway through a curve at highway speeds. I hit the guard rail and scratched the right side of the car. I could have run straight through the guardrail from the inertia or made the back car hit me due to the slowing down, though thankfully I took control of the vehicle to limit the damage. I visited a Tesla repair center, but they said they didn't address these types of i
... ssues and referred me to the Tesla.com/legal page and a body shop they work with. Obviously, every time FSD turns off there is a chime, but that sudden alert for an event that spanned 5 seconds, 2 for me to take control, failed to be enough.Read more

1. COMPONENT FAILED / AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION: Rear A/C and its electrical control box under the master bed failed completely on night one. The box suffered a severe thermal event (melted plastic odor, scorched components, with some smoke). The melted box and vehicle are available for inspection in my driveway. 2. SAFETY RISK: My husband and I were sleeping directly on top of the bed when the bo
... x beneath it began burning, creating an immediate fire and smoke-inhalation hazard while we slept. The vehicle's electrical breakers failed to trip and cut power before the component reached temperatures high enough to melt and smoke, indicating a catastrophic safety architecture failure. 3. CONFIRMED BY DEALER: Melted/burned box was photographed and sent to selling dealer (Alpin Haus). Service acknowledged photos and agreed it needed replacement. However, due to 12 weeks of dealer delays/communication failures, no teardown diagnostic occurred. We refuse to return the RV to them due to safety/competence concerns. 4. INSPECTED BY OTHERS: NO. Manufacturer (Forest River) has been notified via corporate letter, but no physical factory or official inspection has occurred as of today. 5. WARNINGS/SYMPTOMS: UNKNOWN. No warning lights or codes appeared. First symptom was waking up to plastic burning smell and light smoke under our bed.Read more
