I have taken it to the dealer numerous times to diagnose, but since there is not a hill or incline near them, they are not able to reproduce the same issue. I have videos of this happening and it is a known problem that has been diagnosed in the Ford bronco online forums. The dealer suggested I call Ford Service to report the issue and I started a case complaint.There are no warning messages or codes that are present that the dealer can find to explain the problem. Although my vehicle is not included in the recall population based on VIN, it is the same model year, platform, and equipped with the same power-unlatching tailgate system. The failure mode I am experiencing matches the recall description exactly. I brought the vehicle to a dealership for diagnosis. The dealership acknowledged familiarity with this issue and indicated they have observed similar failures on other trucks outside the recall VIN population. However, because my VIN is not included in the recall, I was told the repair would not be covered. General Motors offered only minimal goodwill assistance, and I was required to pay for the repair. This condition presents a safety risk, as an unlatched tailgate can allow cargo to exit the vehicle and create a roadway hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. As of today, there are class action cases for this. Ford has correct the know deficiency in the latest (2025+) versions for the transmission, so there should be a recall to correct the problems with previous versions. Ford Motor Company has known about the defect with the lack of lubrication on the CDF drum, as well as other issues, and sold the defective parts anyway. This incident did not result in an accident, but only because traffic was light enough that other motorists were able to swerve around me. This particular highway access does not offer an emergency lane until after the bridge the the onramp spills onto.Read more

I, [XXX] was driving home from work on Friday, May 1st on [XXX] in [XXX] during heavy traffic when my vehicle suddenly shut off while traveling approximately 65–70 mph. I initially thought I may not have been pressing the accelerator hard enough, but the vehicle would not respond at all. During this time, I was nearly struck twice from behind because I could not maintain speed with surrounding traffic. Once I reached the shoulder, I was able to restart the vehicle. I was extremely shaken and frightened by the incident. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle again. I was very aware that I could have been seriously injured or killed, and I am thankful I was not struck. I am especially concerned about what could have happened if my grandchild had been in the vehicle with me. This incident occurred after a recall repair had already been performed in September 2025 related to powertrain/hybrid system issues. The failure appears to be the same or similar to the condition the recall was intended to correct. After restarting the vehicle, I drove cautiously to my husband’s workplace and left the vehicle parked. Since the incident, I have experienced ongoing anxiety and distress reliving what happened. This vehicle was intended to be a long-term purchase, and it is extremely concerning that it now appears unsafe to operate. This event represents a serious safety hazard. A sudden loss of propulsion at highway speeds without warning creates a high risk of crash, injury, or death. I am requesting that this issue be investigated, as the prior recall repair does not appear to have corrected the problem. I do not feel this vehicle is safe to operate. I own three 2016 Tesla vehicles with the same known safety defect: two Model S P100D and one Model X P100D, all equipped with the Large Drive Unit (LDU). The component that fails is the rotor coolant seal in the rear drive unit motor. Coolant leaks internally into the motor and inverter, causing bearing wear, corrosion, isolation faults, and eventual complete drive unit failure. The affected drive

This defect puts my safety and the safety of others at risk because it can cause sudden loss of propulsion (especially at highway speeds), power reduction, or total drivetrain shutdown, potentially leading to a crash. Coolant in high-voltage areas also raises electrical fault/FIRE risks. The problem is widely reproduced and confirmed: Tesla service centers are familiar with it and replace failed units with updated “-U” revisions that include a coolant bypass. Independent EV shops confirm the exact root cause (rotor seal failure) via encoder inspections showing coolant intrusion and through disassembly. This is a documented pattern failure in all 2012–2020 LDU vehicles. No police or insurance inspections have occurred yet, as no crash or total failure has happened. Tesla is aware of the recurring issue through service records on similar vehicles. Early symptoms before full failure typically include rear motor whining/grinding (especially under load), reduced power warnings, “Rear Drive Unit Fault” messages, and visible coolant on the speed sensor. These can appear gradually. My vehicles have not yet experienced total failure, but the defect is known to be inevitable. I am proactively monitoring encoder sensors. At the time that the warnings appeared, I was about half a mile away from a signalized intersection. The brake pedal was difficult to depress and unresponsive. I lost meaning braking ability while the vehicle was in motion. Had the traffic signal at the intersection been red at the moment of failure, I would not have been able to stop the vehicle in time and a collision with cross-traffic or a vehicle stopped at the light would have been likely. After stopping, I turned off the vehicle and then turned it back on. Again all the alarms appeared, I was unable to push down on the brake pedal and the gear shift was locked. The adaptive cruise control was not working prior to this repair. Within two weeks the vehicle ex

It points directly to a defective part of improper installation at Curry Honda. These failures occurred within months of a new transmission installation with no prior history of issues. Car has been running fine and maintenance is up to date . Got up one day to leave for work and when I went to accelerate I started hearing a grinding clatter type noise ( only when accelerating at about 3k-5k rpm ) and once the car got up to needed speed it goes away . No engine light codes ( but having intermittent connection issues with obd port but never been damaged or anything) but it does it
... sometimes consistently and sometimes it will have a few moments under same acceleration condition or higher rpms but its never consistent. When these occur the car feels like power loss in the acceleration and a slight dragging in the drivability but again not always present. ... ighly traveled by Semi Trucks. Luckily, there was a gravel spot on the road where we were able to stop the vehicle, just in time to avoid a catastrophe. On 12/22 we took vehicle to Lexus of Wesley Chapel where it currently is today. The Service Advisor (Sierra) confirmed this is part of the recall #25V767. Sierra stated she would contact us in 2-3 weeks for the next steps. Once this time passed, no update was provided and we reached out to the dealer again to be told they are still waiting on "corporate" for a response. We were able to get in contact with Israel - who was designated as our case manager from the Lexus Corporate Office on February 6th. He told us the only option we had was to wait an indefinite amount of time - it could be 6 months, a year or more. After this interaction we spoke to various people at the dealer and same answer was given. While everyone we speak to agrees a new engine is needed - no process has begun to fix the car. We are now in May and still not a step closer than I was on that night where I was stranded on the road.Read more

The dealer was visited (on 2/17/26) and refused to perform the campaign repair, stating no active code was present at that time. The vehicle is available for inspection. The problem has not been confirmed by the dealer despite a visit; the dealer declined to act citing absence of an active code. The vehicle has not been inspected by police or insurance. Warning symptoms include the prior knock sensor code, oil consumption, loss of power, and the current mechanical noise. Symptoms first appeared several months ago and have progressively worsened. The dealer's refusal to act under the existing campaign despite documented symptoms has left this vehicle in a dangerous condition on public roads.Read more

Strictly to Honda for years. The most recent checkup/service was performed on February 11, 2026 where they performed the following services which they had recommended. 1) Oil Change 2)Engine coolant flush with conditioner 3)Transmission fluid change: 4) wheel alignment 5)Fuel tank additive, throttle body service, and injector. This is serious safety event and our family and children could have been killed in this accident. We have pictures, videos, police report, and the car has been taken to a salvage yard. Bad steering rack for 2019 Atlas VW. No recall announced but multiple vehicles having similar issues nationwide. Car has always had a small vibration in the steering and over time it has steadily gotten worst. Failed Head Gasket in the engin affected fuel injectors and spark plugs to fail or not perform normally and started misfiring in the engin. My 24 year old son drives this car and the problem happened at night when he was driving home at night on 3/4/2026 flashing all waring signs on the screen. ... repair shop and replaced the fuel injecton kit and spark plugs and paid $1650 for that and the problem happed again with same kind of signs and drop the car to dealership for detailed diagnostic analysis and they came with the conclusion that the engin has a failed head gasket which causes the engin coolent to enter into cumbustion chamber and mix with the oil/gas affecting fuel injectors and spark plugs. Upon extensive search on internet and social media , it has been found that there are hundreds of victims who own the same year vehicle & model ( or same engine types ) and faced same issues and paid too much money to repair even though the Honda is aware of the issue and not taking care of it. Honda is playing with american people's life when they know the issue very well and haven't done anything yet to recall the vehicles to resolve this issue .
