On April 17, 2026, my 2026 Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe experienced a sudden and complete electrical failure while operating on a public roadway in Texas. The vehicle lost propulsion and became completely disabled in active traffic during dusk/nighttime conditions. All electrical systems failed simultaneously, including lighting and hazard lights. The vehicle could not be restarted, moved, or recharged r
... oadside and was effectively “bricked.” This created a serious safety hazard because the vehicle was stranded in traffic with no hazard lights or electrical warning systems available to alert surrounding vehicles. Police officers responded to protect the vehicle and occupants due to the dangerous roadway location. Due to the low ride height/body configuration of the vehicle, a specialized tow truck was required, causing the disabled vehicle to remain exposed in traffic for more than five hours. The vehicle was finally removed around 11:00 PM and transported to a Mercedes-Benz service center. Mercedes-Benz service documentation confirmed: Internal failure involving the 12V battery system Consequential overload/failure of the 48V system Multiple diagnostic trouble codes Vehicle shutdown conditions The vehicle and components are available for inspection upon request. The condition was confirmed and inspected by Mercedes-Benz technicians and police officers at the scene. Prior to the total failure, dashboard warning messages and malfunction alerts had appeared. After repairs including replacement of the 12V and 48V systems, the vehicle again displayed warning messages on May 7, 2026: “Cooling System Malfunction – Reduced Drive Power – Service Required.” Because this warning resembled the precursor symptoms before the original total shutdown event, the vehicle was immediately returned to the same Mercedes-Benz service center to prevent another dangerous roadway failure.Read more

This is the following list that I gave them -2017 Kia Forte - Service Request: •Issue: Headlights/dash icons flicker specifically when using turn signals. •Issue: Average MPG keeps resetting (Computer Brownout). •Mandatory Checks: 1Multi-Function Switch (internal short). 2Manual Voltage Drop Test on the G01 Ground Point. 3Alternator Ripple Test (check for "dirty" power). Last night on my way home from my daughter’s house which is a 50 minute drive, it was in the dark pouring rain and no longer than I had got started going home, I used the turn signal and my lights flickered a little which that’s what they’ve done before. I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara (VIN [XXX] ) from Soliman Motors Inc., [XXX] (phone [XXX] ) on April 11, 2026. The vehicle is subject to active NHTSA stop-drive recall #19V-018 for the Takata passenger airbag inflator, issued January 15, 2019. This recall was not disclosed to me at any point before, during, or after the purchase. I was never informed of this active federal stop-
... drive safety recall by the dealer. I discovered the recall independently after purchase through the Jeep manufacturer app. Upon discovery I immediately contacted an authorized Jeep dealership to schedule the recall repair. I was informed that recall parts are on nationwide backorder with no confirmed availability date. I am currently on a waiting list at an authorized Jeep dealership. This recall has been open and unrepaired for over seven years since its issuance on January 15, 2019. The dealer sold this vehicle to me without disclosing the existence of this active stop-drive safety recall. The recall involves a Takata passenger airbag inflator that can rupture upon deployment, sending metal shrapnel toward vehicle occupants — a known life-threatening defect responsible for deaths and serious injuries worldwide. I have been driving this vehicle without any knowledge of this life-threatening safety defect from the date of purchase until I independently discovered the recall. The dealer’s failure to disclose this recall at the point of sale put my life and the lives of my passengers at serious risk. Additionally, the financing for this transaction was cancelled by the lender, Thrift Investment Corporation, because the dealer sold this vehicle to a buyer without a valid driver’s license — confirming the dealer failed to conduct basic due diligence before completing this sale. I am requesting: 1.Investigation of Soliman Motors Inc. for failure to disclose active stop-drive recall #19V-018 at point of sale 2.Review of whether Solim INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

2024 Ford F-150 Platinum PowerBoost Hybrid. Diagnostic codes for power steering loss and CAN bus communication faults documented at 337 miles, well within the 3-year/36,000-mile new vehicle warranty. Documented diagnostic findings include: Lost Communication with PSCM (U0131), SCP/J1850 Communications Bus Fault (U1028), permanent code P1A42 Propulsion System Status Signal Performance, hybrid-specific High Voltage System Interlock U3523-00, Steering Position Sensor P060A, no communication with Power Steering Control Module, intermittent PCM communication during self-tests, BCMC fuse 69 with no power, and circuit CBB69 with no voltage. A Ford Field Service Engineer was dispatched April 23, 2026. On April 24, 2026 the dealer located damaged wiring inside a harness behind the BCMC bracket. Prior to that, the dealer escalated through R&I of multiple modules (PSCM, PCM, BCMC, Gateway Module access) over 45 days without locating the actual cause. The vehicle is currently subject to NHTSA recall 26V104 / Ford 26C10 (Trailer Module loss of communication at startup) issued 3/18/2026, status Recall Incomplete. The recall describes the same general failure mode (module communication loss at startup) the customer has been experiencing. Power steering loss while driving is a serious safety concern, particularly given the vehicle's hybrid drivetrain and CAN-bus-dependent safety systems.Read more

The low beam headlight assembly failed on my 2019 Kia Optima LX with no prior warning, while the high beams and LED daytime running lights continue to function normally, indicating an isolated component failure within the assembly. Notably, the headlight assembly shows no physical damage whatsoever, and both independent licensed repair facilities that inspected the vehicle were unable to identify
... or repair any specific failed component — both independently concluded that a full assembly replacement is necessary. The fact that no specific component could be identified as the cause, combined with the absence of any physical damage, suggests this may be an internal failure not consistent with typical wear and tear. Prior to complete failure, the low beam would intermittently illuminate and then cut off unexpectedly during normal operation, which was the only symptom present before the headlight stopped functioning entirely. This creates a genuine safety concern as low beams are the primary source of nighttime illumination and cannot be substituted with high beams in normal traffic conditions. The failure occurred suddenly during normal nighttime driving and could not be fixed with bulb or pigtail replacement as both were in good condition. The vehicle and component remain available for inspection upon request.Read more

I am submitting this complaint regarding my 2015 Dodge Dart SXT with an active safety recall that currently has no available remedy. My vehicle experienced failure related to the recall issue, resulting in the vehicle becoming inoperable and requiring repair. At the time of failure, I was informed that the official recall remedy was not yet available and that the necessary part was on backorder.
... Because no recall remedy was available, I was forced to pay out of pocket to repair the vehicle in order to restore operability. I also incurred significant rental vehicle expenses while my car remained in the repair shop awaiting parts. I contacted Stellantis/Dodge Customer Care multiple times requesting assistance or reimbursement related to: * the repair costs associated with the recall-related failure, and * rental expenses incurred while the vehicle was out of service. My requests were denied, and the matter was repeatedly categorized as an “out-of-warranty” issue despite my concern specifically involving an active safety recall with no available remedy at the time of failure. I am concerned about: * the lack of an available recall remedy, * the financial burden placed on consumers when a recall-related failure occurs before a remedy is available, * extended delays due to backordered parts, and * the absence of transportation assistance or reimbursement for affected consumers. I am requesting that this complaint be documented and reviewed as a recall-related consumer safety and financial hardship issue.Read more
