The vehicle experienced a sudden and repeated malfunction of the hybrid/electrical system and powertrain, resulting in the vehicle becoming inoperable. The vehicle is currently at the dealership and is available for inspection upon request. While driving in traffic, multiple warning messages appeared, including "Hybrid System Malfunction," "Charging System Malfunction," "Engine Malfunction," "Bra
... ke" and "i-ACTIVSENSE System Malfunction." The vehicle lost functionality and could not operate normally, creating a dangerous situation in active traffic. I was forced to slowly maneuver the vehicle to the shoulder after several restart attempts. This issue has been reproduced multiple times. The vehicle has previously been inspected and repaired by an authorized dealership, including recent repairs (12V battery and engine mounts). Despite these repairs, the same critical malfunction occurred again shortly after the vehicle was returned as repaired. The vehicle is currently being inspected again by the dealership. The issue has not yet been permanently resolved. Prior to the failure, the vehicle had a history of similar warning messages and abnormal behavior beginning at approximately 20,000 miles. These issues have continued intermittently despite multiple repair attempts. The repeated failures, including the most recent incident, indicate an ongoing unresolved defect that creates a significant safety concern. A post-incident inspection identified failure of the vacuum pump drive assembly and related timing/variable valve timing (VVT) components. Photographs taken during disassembly document the condition of the timing chain, camshaft, VVT actuator/phaser, vacuum pump assembly, and associated components at the time of repair. Diagnostic records also documented DTC Code P1101 following the incident. The vehicle is currently undergoing further inspection and diagnostic evaluation at a certified Chevrolet dealership to validate CPO warranty coverage and determine the full extent and cause of the failure. If I had been going faster when this happened, it could have created a major accident. Dangerous! Since this happened on Sunday, the dealer wasn’t open. The sliding doors have a rubber piece that over time, gets stuck and causes the door to not latch and close, leaving the door to come open as you are driving. This has been a known issue with these sliding doors on my Kia Sedona. The dealer documented "FIXED FAILED." Failures have continued and worsened after both repair attempts. Video documentation exists for all incidents (Exhibits A–H, dated May 2–7, 2026, odometer 41,900–42,151 miles). The vehicle's own diagnostic system issued a Critical Thermal Warning on the driver cluster while navigating traffic, confirming a hardware cooling defect. Two failures occurred during active driving maneuvers including a reverse maneuver and highway operation on I-20, creating immediate safety risk to the driver and public. The component is available for inspection. The defect has been confirmed by the Volvo dealer. A Texas Lemon Law complaint has been filed.Read more

The condition is most noticeable at low speeds and during parking maneuvers when turning the steering wheel left or right. There are no warning lights or messages on the dashboard. The issue has been confirmed previously by a Honda dealer through the original warranty repair. Because the same steering-related problem has reappeared after replacement of a major steering component, I am concerned about the durability and safety of the steering system. I took the vehicle in for maintenance -transmission flush, oil change, anything they could find because I was planning on a road trip and wanted it ready. They found the box frame just behind the front tires had completely rusted with large holes. The service tech did not even want to put the vehicle on the lift. They took some pictures and sent them to me. No maintenance was performed due to the
... severity of the rot. After inspection, no where else on the frame or body/fixtures is there rust like this. There is typical surface rust in usual places. I took multiple pictures of the problem areas as well as adjacent areas. Upon research I found that the 2015-2020 models have this issue due to the lack of weep holes in the box frame which accumulate moisture and rot from the inside out. The truck is a 2019 has 71k miles. I have owned ford trucks for nearly the last 30 years and have never had this issue. Unfortunately the tech said it is not road safe given its condition.Read more

The entertainment system (and rear camera) freezes up and emits a loud squeal. The system eventually reboots but while backing up the camera screen is frozen and unable to see behind while backing. This creates a definite safety problem (it occurs at various time not only abcking up). The dealer hasn't been able to reproduce the error.

Coming to a stop sign or red light the car won’t accelerate or will go in traction control making it difficult to move or not accelerate. Had 2-3 fuel leaks this year also having problems to keep the car going sometimes the max speed it will go is 20-40 miles n won’t go up unless u keep letting it slow down slowly n then accelerating n even after that it won’t make it above 60-70 miles it us

Turning the air on also makes the car slow down other problems also is the gas running fast could just fill the tank n by the second day it will almost be over. The transmission on my 2020 Ford Escape has an internal fault code and is not shifting into 6th gear. It is an unsafe issue due to it cannot be driven on highways because it throws the vehicle into limp mode. Took my 2017 Ford F-150 in for a diagnostic on May 8 2026 for wrench symbol check engine light and issues down shifting and sliding tires shop manager and technician claimed the vehicle is unsafe to drive and talked to the Service manager deemed the vehicle unsafe to drive wanted it grounded do to the safety concerns related to Recall 26S28 (PCM/TRS) stated the down shifting is cause catastrop

Right rear passenger window failed. Came out to my vehicle at 4pm 5/4/2026 at work in a secure lot. Right rear passenger window appeared exploded out. Almost all of the glass was on the ground, only some of the tempered glass fell in onto the seat. Took many pictures showing the glass bowed out. Filed a police report. Police found no foul play, also noting the nature of the damage protruding out.
... Police are reviewing parking lot camera footage and no foul play has been indicated to date. Took picture of dashboard temperature in the vehicle showing 73 degrees outside, peak temp reports for Batavia NY show 74 degrees. No mowing services took place during the day. No driveway services. Nothing that would introduce flying debris. I park away from other vehicles to protect my vehicle from incidental door damage that may occur if people park too closely. I did not notice any issues prior. I hand wash my vehicle nearly weekly and keep it immaculate. I bought the vehicle brand new. Currently has ~9,300 miles. I have not had time to take the vehicle to Toyota for inspection. The police helped remove the broken glass so I could safely drive home. Using Google I did learn that Toyota is experiencing window defects where windows are spontaneously exploding. Very scary, I have 3 young children and am very thankful this did not happen driving. Reports are while in vehicle it sounds like a gun blast when the windows explode.Read more

The FCA engages in situations that are not dangerous. There is a slamming of the breaks which causes items in the car to fly off the seat and nearly cause the cars behind me to rear end the car. This is a dangerous situation and has happened about 6 times since we purchased the car less than six months ago. There is not a way to permanently disable this supposed safety feature.

2011 Prius. 80k miles. Brake booster buzz coming on every 15 seconds now. ABs, traction and brake lights on. I’ve heard of many Prius owners with the same issue. I also have another Prius with the same issue at 120k miles. Brake booster accumulator codes popping up with 80k miles. It is a safety concern as the abs brakes don’t work. Almost every Prius is effected by this.
