Steering wheel feels sticky or like it catches when going at higher speeds, particularly on long distances. Dealer has confirmed to replace the power steering rack (which includes the steering gear box/worm gear). The gear box/worm gear was part of a previous recall but only for 2023-2025 CRVs although this issue was being reported beginning in 2021.

When I'm driving on the hwy or interstate after a while. Maybe 30 minutes to an hour. The steering wants to jerk either left or right. If I'm trying to drive straight and give it a little correction it'll grab and pull either direction. No warning lights or anything or that sort. But it has almost made me wreck several times. When trying to make small steering adjustments while driving the wheel will resist changes until turned hard enough that it jerks suddenly. I have had my rotors turned 3 times and replaced once in the span of 2 years. They are warped each time, causing pulsing in the front end when braking. My brake pads have never needed to be replaced.
