My 2020 gmc sierra has had poor gas mileage problems i have taken it to gm a few times with them not able to dind anything wrong through diagnostic. A couple years later my horrible gas mileage came back and service ecs and stabilitrack message came back on and disappeared. A month after now the valve body gave me a p2817 code showing that the solenoid is stuck in the off and was also advised that this is a know issue being addressed. Currently the truck is in the shop. While merging onto RT684 I went to accelerate and the car was non-responsive to me pushing on the gas. The car continued to not respond to the accellerator and then the "Service 4wD" light came on the dashboard. This was a safety issue because I had no notice that there was an issue until after the issue took place, a car was very close behind me and almost hit me from behind while I had my 2yr ol
... d son and newborn in the back seat. This vehicle has had a number of safety related issues: did not respond to the break on 12/24/24, has been in the jeep dealership service center for over 115 days since my lease began May 2023. The most recent incident was on 12/20/2025 where it did not accellerate while merging onto the highway. The was in the shop from 12/20/25 - 12/30/25 upon return the car had very stiff steering and the car felt jumpy on 1/6/26 the "service 4wD" light went on again and has been in the shop from 1/6/26- until present.Read more

My vehicle suffered from a catastrophic engine failure while driving on the highway. The vehicle stalled at highway speeds (55mph), during rush hour. Causing a near rear end collision. From this point on my vehicle was unable to reach speeds of 30 Mph. This failure is consistent with a defect in the Theta II engines that has been subject to recalls. The Theta II engine recall is under a soft reca

I purchased a 2022 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 in 2023 with less than 100 miles at the time of purchase. To this day it has 15,005 miles, I comply with recommended maintenence, however the car has been trying to kill me. I purchased Honda Care along with numerous other extended warranties. Mind you I paid for the ENTIRE car in cash. While driving, the car randomly slams on the breaks when no one is on
... the street and it also does in the middle of traffic. There have been several instances in which I have almost been rear ended because the vehicle slams on its breaks without notice. This happens even when the break assist is turned off. I turn it off everytime I start the car but it turns itself back on while the car is motion. One morning on my way to work there were no cars (5am), there was nothing in the road and the RED BRAKE DASH LIGHT Flashed then the car slammed on the brakes. I was traveling about 45-50 mph and the car abruptly stopped. I sustained multiple bruises from the seat belt shoulder strap and lap belt. I have previous chronic back issues that were aggrevated by this incident. I am still under a physicians care for my back issues (unrelated) but I do believe this occurrence aggrevated these issues even more. I did not want to make a huge deal out of this however the vehicle continues to slam on the brakes without notice and I am fearful that I will injure myself, my grandson, or someone else as a result of a defective vehicle. I took my car to Honda today 1/14/2026 and they were absolutely no help. There was no consistency when I was told how they could diagnose the problem & no time frame was given. There is nothing I could have done in order to make your automatic breaking system fail when Honda is the only one that does work on my car. I requested to speak to the GM Curtis Hensley and that request was ultimately denied. Honda care said the dealership could loan me a vehicle and the dealership said I had to rent it plus pay $180 diagnostic fee.Read more

On January 14, 2026, while starting my 2025 RAM 3500 with approximately 4,000 miles on the vehicle, the digital instrument cluster completely failed to function. After the engine started and the vehicle was running, the dashboard continued to display “Press Brake and Press Button to Start,” as if the vehicle had not started. All gauges and indicators were inoperative, including the speedometer
... , tachometer, warning lights, and vehicle information displays. Although the vehicle could be driven and exterior turn signals were functioning, there was no indication on the instrument cluster. No speed, engine RPM, or warning alerts were visible to the driver. After driving the vehicle home and allowing it to sit for a period of time, the vehicle was restarted and the instrument cluster returned to normal operation, indicating an intermittent failure. Based on known issues reported with digital instrument cluster failures, this appears to be a potential electrical and/or software-related defect. In addition to the instrument cluster failure, the vehicle has experienced electrical issues related to trailer lighting. When towing a new trailer equipped with LED lights, the running lights would not function when connected to this truck, although the trailer lighting worked properly when connected to other vehicles. The trailer was taken to the manufacturer’s shop for a full inspection, which confirmed the trailer was functioning properly and identified the truck as the source of the issue. On January 12, 2026, during an oil change service, the trailer lighting issue was reported to the dealership. When the technician connected a diagnostic tester to the truck’s trailer wiring connection, portions of the connection began to smoke. The dealership determined there was a defect in the truck’s electrical system and ordered a replacement component. I have video documentation provided by the dealership technician showing the issue at the trailer light connection.Read more

There were no warming lamps or messages related to the problem prior to the failure. However, there have been other occasions while driving on the open road when the engine has revved on its own and I told Hyundai about that. Loss of motor power recall has been present since October 17, 2025 - #25V710. This is an issue that started with our specific Jeep prior to this recall. It is January now and no remedy has been found. The manufacturer will not provide a loaner or rental for us even though the car has shut off on us personally on multiple occasions. They asked us to take it into the dealer to perform a diagnostic,
... they are unable to reproduce the shut-off issue we've experienced and have told us there is nothing they can do at this time. I looked up at your website and see there is an "interim corrective action" that has been implemented to avoid loss of motive power using an update to the backend policy while a final remedy is still under development. When I asked the dealer to either confirm if they at least performed the interim corrective action or if they can guarantee we will not experience loss of power anymore. I was told they could not answer the question and that they did not have anything they could perform on the vehicle at this time and told us we can pick it up. Again, this issue has happened to us personally on multiple occasions and have been fortunate that it's only happened on residential streets thus far. We do not feel safe to drive the car around on a daily basis and just hope the car doesn't shut off again in a more dangerous situation until a remedy is found. We originally brought this car into the dealer for a similar issue on October 14th - the dealer updated some software and gave us the car back on October 16th. By October 18th, we had a check engine light come up again and on October 19th, the car would not start on occasions again. Again they took it and said they did a software update to it. The shut off issue persisted again in December when we stopped driving the car and were able to get a rental from them for the 25V-741 issue but they are saying because they themselves cannot replicate our 25V710, they can't help us again and no fixes are available.Read more

UNKNOWN what failed because it burned to the ground. August 8, 2025 The Jeep was running and driving normal. I pulled over into Robert Louis Stevenson Park parking area to let my kids (ages 3 and 4) out for a potty break. I left the vehicle running since it was hot and the AC was on. As I was getting my first child out smoke started pouring out of the passenger side wheel well and hood, coming
... from the engine compartment. I got my kids out in a hurry and there were flames within about 45 seconds. The Jeep was fully engulfed within about 2 minutes. Fire department took 12 minutes to arrive on scene and extinguish the Jeep fire and accompanying tree that had caught on fire. All of my belongings inside the vehicle were destroyed and not covered under the vehicle insurance policy. I am grateful I managed to get my kids out of the car and to safety and that we are all okay, but this was an extremely dangerous situation and we are lucky we pulled over where we did. I reached out to Stellantis, and they sent out an investigator, but he was bound by privacy rules with them, and nobody ever told me what they found other than Stellantis sending a letter saying "they are not led to believe it was a manufacturing responsibility." Additionally, there was a police report filed with Napa, CA California Highway Patrol Office, as another car was melted a bit during the incident. There were ZERO warnings that anything was wrong with the vehicle while driving. Nothing to indicate that something catastrophic was about to happen or that anything was wrong at all. The Jeep only had 27,000 miles on it and had been dealer serviced its entire life and only 1,000 miles prior to this incident as well.Read more

My 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 has experienced two ICCU (Integrated Charging Control Unit) failures, both completely immobilizing the vehicle. •First failure: November 2024 •Second failure: December 31, 2025 (confirmed by dealer 1/13/26) •Downtime: Over 45 days total •All recall work and maintenance were performed at the same Hyundai dealer, under active warranty, but the recall did not prevent t
... he second failure. Safety Risk: These ICCU failures cause sudden loss of propulsion, leaving the vehicle stranded and creating a serious safety hazard. The second failure after recall indicates the repair is inadequate. Luckily mine failed at home before departing for an errand, but I am gravely concerned about others not as fortunate or for myself should the issue recur while I am traveling on a public road. Examples of this are reported online in a variety of forums. Widespread Issue: Thousands of owners report similar ICCU failures, often after recall repairs, on forums and social media. There is also ongoing Canadian litigation addressing the same defect. Requested Action: •Investigate repeated ICCU failures in Hyundai/Kia EVs •Evaluate the adequacy of recall repairs •Require Hyundai to implement a permanent fix •Take appropriate safety action to protect vehicle ownersRead more

My 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT (new vehicle, low mileage) has a persistent water intrusion/leak into the cab interior. Water appears at the top of the headliner/ceiling, specifically around the overhead console where the HomeLink garage door opener buttons and map lights are located. This occurs after rain events, heavy precipitation, and results in visible wetness, dripping, and staining o
... n the headliner fabric in the front overhead area. The leak is repeatable under wet conditions. It strongly suggests entry through the roof-mounted shark fin antenna (OnStar/XM/GPS antenna) seal or possibly the windshield-to-roof junction, as water migrates forward along the headliner to the overhead console area. This is a known issue pattern in prior GM trucks (e.g., 2014–2019 models with TSBs for shark fin antenna leaks causing headliner/overhead console drips), though not yet documented as widespread on the 2025 HD models. I took the vehicle to an authorized Chevrolet dealer for diagnosis and repair under warranty. The dealer performed an inspection but stated they could not replicate the leak during their test and therefore declined to perform any repairs, noting “unable to duplicate” on the repair order. Despite the waterline in the headliner and explaining the conditions (e.g., after heavy rain), no further action was taken. The issue continues to recur.Read more

Good Morning, I purchased a 2019 Toyota Highlander at a Toyota dealership and the transmission has died at 68,000. It died while driving in heavy traffic with my kids in the car. Toyota has completed an inspection of the transmission and determined that it needed to be replaced. They also said that because the transmissions are in back order due to all of the failures, I would have to wait 45-60 d

With 115000 miles on it, I felt a clunk when it went in to gear. I took it to the dealer 3 times to have the mechanic drive it. He said it sounded and felt right. I was driving to work less than a mile away from my home, when coming up to a red light my car told me to find a safe place to stop. No previously warnings or other symptoms. I was stuck at the intersection while I awaited a tow truck which had difficulty gett

The vehicle experienced repeated and unpredictable loss of drivability while in operation. The transmission intermittently disengages and the gear indicator rapidly cycles between Park, Reverse, Neutral, and Drive without driver input. During these events, the vehicle loses propulsion and becomes unsafe to operate in traffic. Warning messages and instrument cluster anomalies were observed prior to
... and during the failures, including erratic dashboard behavior. The issue has occurred multiple times and is reproducible. The condition appears to be related to a known safety recall involving the transmission lead frame / powertrain control system. The failure creates a serious safety risk due to sudden loss of power and inability to control vehicle movement, especially in traffic or while stopped at intersections. The vehicle is not safe to drive and has been removed from regular service. Diagnostic data, video evidence, and photographs documenting the failure and warning indicators are available upon request. The manufacturer has been notified and a recall case has been opened, but the defect has not yet been resolved. The vehicle remains unrepaired at the time of this report.Read more
