I have had my vehicle to a GM dealership three times now due to the check engine light coming on and getting an emission warning. 2/13/26 was the first visit. It was right after I filled up my tank with gas that the check engine light came on when I started driving down the road. I got an appointment at a GM dealership. They put the scanner on it and received the codes. They drove it back to the s
... ervice garage and I went back to work. I received information from them that they could not fix anything because the check engine light had disappeared and there were no codes available anymore. I picked up my vehicle and a week later 2/20/26 the same thing happened after I got gas. The check engine light came on and an emission warning on my Chevy app. I stopped back into the same dealership. And the same thing happened. Scanner, codes, and then they disappeared. The third time I got gas the same thing happened again with the check engine light and emission system warning. This was on 2/28/2026. I went to a different dealership and the exact same thing happened..... scanner, codes received, schedule an appointment to get it in the following week, started the vehicle and pulled out. The check engine light was still on at that time. And the check engine light disappeared once again as I was driving down the road. Each time this has happened I have been able to use my remote start via my Chevy app along with trying to use my handheld key fob remote start. The dealerships have told me this is normal for this type of check engine light emission warning. When researching this issue there are a lot of people experiencing the same thing. Scratching my head wondering why there's not a recall on this.Read more

I own a 2013 Ford Fusion SE with a 1.6L EcoBoost engine. Prior to the incident, the vehicle displayed a “Check Charging System” warning and the engine overheated. We were driving on the freeway when my son started screaming to a point we had to get over and stop to check what was going on. His arm got stuck in the forward facing belt path and he couldn’t get it out. I had to get him completely unbuckled in order to take him out of the seat sideways as otherwise I would have pulled the arm out at the shoulder.

We were notified by Toyota that it was unsafe to transport our child or anyone else in the second row seats in November 2025 and the vehicle was under a recall. This puts my child at risk. I am filing a complaint regarding my 2021 Kia Seltos 2.0L. While driving, the engine made a continuous rattling noise, and the check engine light illuminated with code P0017 (Camshaft/Crankshaft Correlation). Upon inspection, I discovered the engine oil level was extremely low. After adding oil, the rattling stopped, but the P0017 code remains. I contacted my dealership, which refused to perform
... any recall or warranty inspection. I also contacted Kia Consumer Affairs, and my goodwill claim was closed with no follow-up. I am concerned this issue is related to a known engine defect affecting 2021 Seltos 2.0L engines, specifically problems with piston rings and excessive oil consumption, which can lead to engine damage, stalling, or timing errors. I request that NHTSA record this complaint, investigate whether my vehicle is affected by a defect, and ensure Kia provides proper inspection and repair coverage. This is a potential safety and engine reliability concern.Read more

UNKNOWN However multiple times the front end of the vehicle starts shaking when I try to break up especially on the highway. Head lamp warning alerted (refers driver to drivers manual, only to say see a dealer) but no issues, both lamps were working. Car just started jerking and eventually stopped. I had it checked and was told the turbo was gone. Took it to Honda they said the head gaskets are blown. The car is 5 1/2 years old and it not one time ever ran hot. I’m not the only one with this issue. Honda needs to do something to fix this. Every car that goes to service has this issue something is definitely not right
Incident date: Feb 7, 2026
The issue appears to involve the steering, front axle or front drivetrain assembly. When turning the steering wheel, particularly at low speeds such as during parking maneuvers or tight turns, there is a distinct clicking or popping sound coming from the front axle area both left and right side The noise is mechanical in nature and occurs repeatedly when the steering angle increases. This behavior
... suggests a possible issue with the front axle shaft, (CV) joint, or related drivetrain components. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. A clicking or popping sound from the front axle during turning can be an early indicator of drivetrain component wear or failure, particularly involving CV joints or axle shafts. If a front axle or joint were to fail while the vehicle is in motion, it could result in sudden loss of propulsion to the wheel or compromised control during turning. Because this noise occurs during routine driving maneuvers, it raises concern that a critical drivetrain component may be prematurely failing. A failure during a turn, intersection maneuver, or while entering traffic could create a hazardous situation for the driver and surrounding vehicles. I’m concerned because I had a similar issue with a 1994 Honda Accord; the CV boots were bad and there was a risk (I was told) that the front suspension could collapse while driving especially on highway. The condition is easily reproducible during low-speed turning and parking maneuvers and occurs consistently when the steering wheel is turned to moderate or higher angles. At this time the vehicle has not yet undergone a full diagnostic evaluation by a dealer, but the symptom is repeatable under normal driving conditions. It was noted on test drive upon purchase. Salesperson dismissed it was part of “regenerative braking.” It did undergo multipoint inspection as part of CPO process prior to purchase. It was "cleared" for CPO and purchase.Read more

On February 25, 2026, BMW of South Miami performed the VANOS safety recall repair on my vehicle. The repair order documented that VANOS bolts were missing and retrieved from the engine oil pan and that VANOS components were serviced. Within approximately 24–48 hours of picking up the vehicle, the check engine light illuminated and the vehicle began operating abnormally, including rough idle and
... irregular shifting. The vehicle stored diagnostic fault code P054B (camshaft position timing over-retarded), which directly relates to camshaft timing and the VANOS system involved in the recall repair. I returned the vehicle to the dealership for further diagnosis. The dealership stated an aftermarket camshaft position sensor with two O-rings was installed and removed one O-ring to correct the gap between the sensor and the camshaft reluctor wheel. The faults were cleared and the vehicle was returned to me. However, the check engine light returned again the following morning upon cold start, indicating the issue was not corrected. My service advisor has since stated that replacing the camshaft position sensor is not part of the recall repair and the dealership has declined to repair the vehicle under the recall. Because the malfunction appeared immediately after the VANOS safety recall repair and involves the camshaft timing system connected to VANOS operation, I believe the recall repair may not have been properly completed or corrected. I am requesting that NHTSA review this matter as a potential recall effectiveness issue, as the safety recall repair appears unresolved and the vehicle continues to experience faults related to the system that was repaired.Read more

I own a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder with approximately 24,000 miles. During a recent inspection, the rear brake pads were found to be completely worn while the front brake pads still have significant remaining life. This uneven wear pattern suggests the rear braking system may be performing a disproportionate amount of braking or may not be fully releasing. Premature rear brake wear at this mileage app

I own this truck and have had issues with the exhaust regeneration process for about 6 months. I have taken it to the dealer 3 times and they have done diagnostics and replaced the diesel particulate filter, but the issue continues to happen. ... multiple customers with the same issue with the diesel exhaust system not operating properly, hampering the engine performance, damaging the engine and exhaust system, polluting from the exhaust discharge. This is a widely known issue with the 2022 Ram 3500 from other owners, yet RAM refuses to properly address the issue. They advertise their trucks with certain horsepower and output specs, which aren't accurate due to their faulty exhaust systems.
