VEHICLE: 2019 Honda Accord LX SUMMARY OF SAFETY DEFECTS & FAILURE: My vehicle is experiencing severe, dangerous mechanical and electrical failures identical to existing national safety recalls, yet my specific VIN is being excluded by the manufacturer. 1. FUEL SYSTEM FAILURE & ENGINE STALLING: The vehicle is experiencing sudden engine stalling and failure to start due to a defective low-pressur
... e fuel pump. This matches the exact failure profile of NHTSA Recall Numbers 23V-858, 21V-215, and 20V-314 (Honda Campaigns KGC/KGD). This defect causes the vehicle to lose power unexpectedly, creating an immediate crash hazard on active roadways. 2. BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DEFECT: The vehicle is suffering from critical electrical disruptions, resulting in erratic component failures including [mention any specific symptoms you have, e.g., malfunctioning windshield wipers, defrosoter failure, rear-view camera blacking out, or power window errors]. This perfectly mirrors the systemic programming defect outlined in NHTSA Recall Number 20V-771 (Honda Campaign X95). DEALER DIAGNOSIS & MANUFACTURER DENIAL: I have taken the vehicle to an authorized Honda dealership multiple times. - In June 2025, the BCM software issues were initially dismissed by the dealer as a general electrical problem. - A subsequent comprehensive diagnostic confirmed the fuel pump and BCM failure, resulting in a repair estimate of $4,688. The dealership refused to cover the repairs under the safety recalls, citing that my VIN is not currently flagging "open recalls" in their corporate database. When referred to American Honda Motor Co. Corporate Customer Support, corporate summarily dismissed my complaint and refused any cost assistance or repair remedy, despite their clear knowledge that these exact defects plague the 2019 Accord LX model year. Because the manufacturer is utilizing restrictive VIN range loopholes to evade financial accountability for known safety hazards, I am filing this complaintRead more

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle suddenly lost automotive power. No warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where it remains, where it was diagnosed with a fuel pump failure. The vehicle was not repaired due to the costs. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle was previously repai

Upon further investigation, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign:23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. This problem makes operation of my vehicle unsafe and uncertain, at any time this issue can kick in and now you are limping along at 20 mph while cars zoom all around you. While trying to get the vehicle to the shop I created traffic buildups and was almost hit multiple times due to the vehicles diminished acceleration.Read more

I have a 2018 Honda CRV with 52,000 miles. It has a steering problem. The vehicle has to be hot, or be driven for 1 plus hours for the problem to appear. I have to assume that the problem that plagues my vehicle is related to the known CRV steering rack or EPS issues tied to the newer model recalls. I have not asked a Honda dealer to diagnosis the issue and provide an estimate for repair, but plan to shortly. Otherwise, this vehicle is in excellent condition, has had proper maintenance and care. I have called a local Honda dealer to inquire about a recall and was told there is no recall on this issue for my car year. There is however a recall for steering issues on 2023, 24, 25 year cars. Vehicle experiences intermittent steering sticking/catching while turning. In March 2026, an independent repair facility verified the steering concern and documented: “Technician found Rack and Pinion will lock when manually turning.” The technician also referenced Honda Technical Service Bulletin / Safety Recall 18-103 regarding the 2017–2018 Honda CR-V EPS gearbox and recommended steering
... rack replacement. Immediately afterward in March 2026, the vehicle was inspected by Honda after the steering concern was reported, and no steering gearbox issue was identified at that time. Now, in May 2026, Honda is diagnosing the EPS steering rack/gearbox assembly and recommending replacement at an estimated cost of approximately $5,000. Although this VIN was reportedly not included in the original recall population, the vehicle is exhibiting steering symptoms substantially similar to the defect described in Honda’s EPS gearbox recall documentation. Because this condition affects steering responsiveness and safe vehicle control, and appears to be progressively worsening, we are requesting investigation into whether similar EPS steering defects may exist outside the originally identified VIN range.Read more

The Auto Idle Stop (AIS) system malfunctions during normal driving. When coming to a stop, the AIS shuts off the engine as designed, but the vehicle then fails to restart when the brake is released. The vehicle shifts itself into Park automatically without driver input, either before or at the same time as a dashboard message appears instructing the driver to depress the brake pedal and press the
... start button. When the start button is pressed, the dash resets but the engine does not start. The only way to recover is to fully power the vehicle off and restart it, which is difficult and unsafe at a busy intersection or red light. This puts the driver and others at serious risk. The vehicle becomes immobilized in traffic with no ability to move it out of the path of oncoming or following vehicles, creating a risk of being rear-ended. The unexpected automatic shift into Park is also a vehicle control concern, as the driver does not initiate it. The problem is intermittent. The vehicle has been taken to an authorized dealer twice. On the first visit the dealer kept the vehicle several days with a loaner and attempted to replicate the issue but could not. On the second visit the dealer kept the vehicle one day and again could not reproduce it. A third diagnostic visit is scheduled, during which the service manager intends to drive the vehicle to attempt replication. As of now the failure has not been confirmed or reproduced by the dealer. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. No warning lamps appear prior to the failure. The only symptom is the automatic shift into Park and the dashboard message to depress the brake and restart, which appear at the moment of the malfunction. The first occurrence was at approximately 25,000 miles. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives.Read more

My wife and I had decided to empty our storage unit, so on Memorial Day we began moving everything into the garage. I went into the garage for gloves and a fire extinguisher and tried again, but still could not get it open. Realizing the situation was getting worse and that I could not stop it there, I jumped into the car and tried to start it. To my surprise, it started immediately, and I drove it as fast as I could out to the street in front of the house. Only later did I realize that this likely saved my RV—and possibly the front of my house as well—from catching fire. We were so blessed that I was able to move the car to a safer location and no one was hurt. It was a miracle.Read more
