THE DISK WARPED IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO ACTIVATE THE SWITCH. I FOUND OUT FROM THE LOCAL DEALER THAT THEY HAVE SOLD OVER 50 OF THESE SWITCHES SINCE JULY 1ST. REAR SWING ARM BROKE INTO TWO PARTS. ON THE LEFT SIDE OF SWING ARM WHERE THE AXEL GOES THROUGH. THE PART THAT BROKE OFF WAS STILL HELD ON BY THE LEFT REAR SHOCK. I FOUND THE BROKEN PARTS WHEN I REMOVED THE REAR WHEEL TO HAVE A NEW TIRE INSTALLED. UNKNOWN WHEN THE BRAKE OCCURRED. LAST TIRE CHANGE WAS 4-19-03 AT 74,920 MILES. MILEAGE IS NOW AT APX. 84,000 ON 8-16-03. *NLM
