Beginning around March 2024: 1) The ABS, Towing, and E-brake dashboard lights stay on; and the Cruise Control stopped working. 2) The brakes and/or transmission locked up when I put the truck in Reverse. It made a noise like it was trying to respond but sort of dropped and locked up and would not move. This has happed a few times intermittently so mechanics have not been able to reproduce the pro

This has happened a few times. 4) My truck is large and heavy so it could really do some damage to other cars and endanger lives. I don’t drive it much for this reason causing me a lot of inconvenience. 5) The dealership and 2 local car repair shops scanned the problem. A lot of codes popped up - including the ABS Module and tire sensors. They said the module was unavailable and under review. They also said tracking down all the causes and completely resolving them would be trial and error as they replaced several parts including the ABS Module and sensors on all 4 tires. I cannot locate the repair shop receipts at present, but 1 shop (Decatur Auto Tech) was $258 on 3/19/2024. Landmark Dodge didn’t charge for the scan on 4/23/2024. They gave me a quote to replace the ABS Module of $1,294.71Read more

Our 2010 Highlander is barely worth that, and now we have to repair this on our own even though Toyota knew the brake actuator assembly and brake booster pump would eventually fail at some point in time. Despite this, Toyota refused to resolve this issue when we asked (more than once) right after receiving the service bulletin in 2019 and as a result is causing a safety issue for our college aged son who drives this car, and all other drivers on the road should the ABS system fail. The dealer ship replaced the head gasket but not the fuel injectors after I asked them to double check the fuel injectors, but they insisted that only the head gasket was the only problem. After a week and a half, I went and tried to pick up my car. Before I was able to drive it off the lot, check engine light came back as one of the cylinders was misfiring again. To this day, I am still without my car. Now thinking about whole situation, we experienced some engine shaking when the engine first started. But it ran fine after a little bit, so we did not think anything of it. Good Will program of Honda will pick up the repair cost, my portion is $900.00 as deductible.Read more

This is not good at all especially after a year post engine replacement and turbo replacement. When the car is started I push start and car struggles to start the starter keeps screeching and car shudders for a good 45 seconds before it either dies out or finally starts. This vehicle should be a lemon and bought back regardless of age condition etc. A vehicle after engine replacement of only one year should not be pouring oil out of the engine, failed head gaskets,misfiring and leaking coolant. The CVT transmission would lose power when making a turn over last few yrs. My safety was put at risk due to oncoming traffic could have hit the car due to loss of power. The service transmission required light just started coming on after dealing with loss of power. Car only has 106,000 miles on it. Driver side mirror is distorted. When looking at the mirror, it makes me dizzy and nearly nauseous. The distorted visibility is definitely a safety concern.

Stop vehicle and check power supply light comes on. Car shows error message before battery dies while driving. And wont charge. If on the highway you have a few minutes before your battery completely dies although my battery is 100%

On 4 separate occasions my 2023 Kia Telluride has failed to accelerate from a stop. First occurrence was [XXX] while turning left at a light. RPMs went at high as 3,000 while car slowly idled about 5-8mph through the intersection and would not accelerate. Same thing occurred 2 days later after trying to accelerate from a stop sign. Most recent occurrence was [XXX]. 3/4 occurrences vehicle was in "
... Snow" mode. Brand new winter tires were placed 12/18/23. Most recent occurrence vehicle was not in thick snow but in "Snow" mode. No warning lights or messages ever came on with any of the 4 occurrences. After repeated attempts of stepping on and off the gas peddle vehicle eventually accelerates. Acceleration delays have lasted as long as 90 seconds. I am VERY grateful that first left turn when this happened no cars were coming through the intersection as it may have resulted in a T-bone accident where by baby was in the back seat passenger side. Car is going to the dealer at Campbell, Missoula MT tomorrow but they already told me if they cannot reproduce the occurrence then there's nothing they can do which seems like a MAJOR liability to Kia and even greater SAFETY concern to drivers and their families.
