MY FRONT BRAKE LEVER FROZE NOT ALLOWING APPLICATION OF THE FRONT BRAKE. PULLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND WHEN I GOT TO THE END OF MY ROAD, I GRABBED THE FRONT BRAKE. THE LEVER WAS ROCK HARD AND INMOVEABLE EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST WAY. CALIPER AND PADS FROZEN, I HAD NO FRONT BRAKE AT ALL! TOOK TO MY LOCAL MECHANIC, WHO HAS NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. ... E WAS DRY AND RELATIVELY EVEN. THE SADDLEBAGS WERE CHECKED APPROXIMATELY 25 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT, PRIOR TO OPERATING THE MOTORCYCLE, AND NOTHING UNUSUAL WAS OBSERVED. THIS EVENT OCCURRED AFTER RECALL WORK WAS PERFORMED TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL DEFECTIVE PIN CONNECTORS (NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V427000). THE REPLACEMENT DESIGN OF THE PIN CONNECTORS HAS NOT RESOLVED THE ISSUE THAT COULD LEAD TO UNWANTED DETACHMENT OF THE SADDLEBAGS. EXITING INTERSTATE FRONT BRAKE LEVER INOPERATIVE. TOTAL LOSS OF FRONT BRAKES AS I APPROACHED INTERSECTION. BACK BRAKES OPERATED NORMALLY. CONTINUED HOME CHECKED FOR LEAKS, NONE. FLUID FULL. MASTER CYLINDER WORKING, BUT NO FLUID @ CALIPERS. STILL CANNOT DEPRESS BRAKE LEVER. WAS INFORMED MAYBE ABS MODULE HOWEVER STILL SHOULDN'T CAUSE TOTAL FAILURE. THANK YOU

WITH CRUISE CONTROL SET AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, AS I APPROACHED SLOWER MOVING VEHICLES I TAPPED THE FRONT BRAKE LIKE I HAVE DONE SO MANY TIMES BEFORE; BUT THIS TIME THE CRUISE DID NOT CANCEL. I TAPPED THE FRONT BRAKE SEVERAL MORE TIMES AND HARD ENOUGH TO MAKE THE FRONT END DIVE. BUT THE BIKE KEPT ACCELERATING. I TOOK QUICK ACTION TO SHUT THE CRUISE OFF.
