ON 10-19-2017 I WAS RIDING WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS ON OUR WAY TO A FELLOW BIKERS FUNERAL. WE WERE DOING ABOUT 45 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, AS WE APPROACHED OUR TURN I ATTEMPTED TO START BRAKING WITH MY BACK BRAKE. WHEN I TRYED TO PUSH THE BACK BRAKE PEDAL DOWN NOTHING HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE TAKEN THE OLD SYSTEM APART DO TO CLAIMS FROM THE MANUFACTURER ISSUES RELATED TO SERVICE INTERVALS, NOT MANUFACTURER DEFECTS. AFTER REMOVING THE TOP OF THE ABS MODULE 40601-08A, THREE COLD-SOLDER JOINTS WERE DISCOVERED ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD TO BRAKE SOLENOID CONNECTIONS. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH MANY AUTO

UNCONTROLLED RPM WHEN DECELERATING. ENGINE RPM RAISED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO 3200 RPM'S WHEN ALL THROTTLE UP WAS REMOVED. ENGINE KILL AND RESTART DID NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM THE RPM WOULD NOT DROP UNTIL KEY WAS TURNED OFF.
