Resubmitting from 2/3/2025 as the first form was not received. Attn: [XXX] I am the original owner of this unit and there is approximately only 1,500 miles on my trailer. This Grand Design is a swap from the original 2019 Grand Design that I already had. When I am able to camp, when my trailer is not in the shop, we only camp about an hour away from home as I don't feel safe. We have been experi
... encing frame issues. There is excessive pin box movement (this is the OEM), cargo, main doors, as well as the kitchen slide out coming out during transport, separation of roof and nose cap (and other roof issues), axels have been replaced, multiple replacements of suspension components, wrinkling in my walls, saw dust and metals shavings found throughout the unit. l I have been in contact with Grand Design many times, but not much help. I have the feeling they are trying to delay any kind of repairs for their manufacture defects. These have been an ongoing issue since the day I brought this trailer home. Electronic power steering pump issue/failure. The steering wheel was so stiff when I tried to go right that I physically could not turn the wheel. This is extremely dangerous & it happens without warning. No lights come on. You are left in a moving vehicle, without much of a way to control the direction you need it to travel in. From what I have learned, it seems an extended warranty was initial
... ly offered, & then a forced recall was issued on the, 1st Gen, 2002-2005 Mini Coopers. Only part of the vehicles with these issues were included in the recall. I have the same size 1.6 engine, & the exact same electronic power steering pump that comes with the issues & failures that I have in my 06. I have seen it on vehicles up to 08. This is absolutely unacceptable. This is a documented manufacturing defect & design flaw that has been continually allowed to endanger people’s lives. I am unsure how BMW managed to only recall part of the vehicles with these electronic power steering pump issues. I contacted BMW who told me there were no extended warranties or recalls on my vehicle.Read more

We were driving through a mountain range and the trailer brakes went out on Trailer. Had to us exhaust brake to slow trailer down and stop. We could have crashed putting my family of 4 at high risk as well as others on the road. This was an extremely scary trip with no trailer braking. Our inverter and battery switch caught fire during a camping trip 8/12/24. My family was put in harm's way with
... the possibility of the trailer going up in flames! Called Grand Design. They immediately made a ticket for a technician to come replace inverter and other wiring. Grand Design told us we were NOT to use our trailer until all fixed. Grand Design flew a technician out 8/20/24 to replace inverter. Technician held up the inverter to us, it was melted. He said this was completely Grand Design's fault. Also was told by technician to take trailer in for frame flex issues as well from recall by Grand Design. The frame flex was real. We had issues with our slides as well as the body looking crooked on the frame. The RV service center Grand Design sent us to found that there were ZERO lag bolts installed holding the body on the frame. The front corner of trailer was leaking due to the roof failing. Grand Design called for replacement of all cabinetry in front area as well as replace entire roof. This frame flex could have had detrimental outcomes due to the frame not being bolted down. All components that failed have been fixed by a certified rv service center. We have not used the trailer as we picked it up one week ago. We are nervous to use the trailer with all the issues we had. There was no warning to any of these failures.Read more

Excessive frame flex in pin box area of fifth wheel. Forward left cargo door unlatching while towing. Vehicle is currently at Lazydays dealer in TN for inspection and TSB for excessive frame flex. Inspection has revealed major structural cracks and structural failure in upper deck steel frame structure. Vehicle has been deemed unsafe to transport and must be repaired in place or partially repa
... ired for transport to factory. We noticed excessive deformation of the pin box and substantial rubbing of internal cabinets, etc upon return from a recent trip. Based of the damage, it would have been possible for the RV structure to separate from our tow vehicle putting us and others on the road at significant risk of injury or death. We saw indications of interior movement of cabinets and rubbing on walls for several thousand miles, but no indication of significant pinbox deflection until recently. Manufacturer has provided no guidelines or communication to owners to be aware of potential problems or to indicate things to look for that may indicate the vehicle poses a serious risk/hazard. Initial signs of rubbing inside the vehicle, and a loose latch and flapping of cargo door were observed in January 2024. We have video of substantial gap opening and movement of interior cabinets when taking vehicle off of stabilizer jacks and loading onto fifth wheel hitch of truck. Unable to get additional pictures currently as the RV is at the dealer for repairs. Will attempt to get photos of internal frame damage early next week if possible.Read more

I had a recall for “computer module programming done by Ford on my 2022 Bronco sport 38k miles on [XXX]. The next day my car shut off while at a light not auto/start on off. But sputtered and lost power. The next day it would not start right away. On [XXX] I parked at my children’s school in a temporary spot. Went to back up and my car was stuck trying to turn in and off for a solid 10 minutes
... . There was also a burning smell of something. No smoke. I finally could turn it off quickly randomly and then it would not start again. We jumped it by tow truck and took it home because the dealership said at 3 years 38k miles it was not under warranty. So my husband took the battery out and had it tested. It tested 100% at Autozone an hour later. Whatever recall they preformed caused my car to drain the battery or lost power. No way a car with only 38k miles and maintenance done every time at Ford regularly should even have a problem like this. It’s so frustrating. My former employer Municipal Utilities/City of Poplar Bluff manager TF, added an air tag or tracking device to my [XXX] Mother's car, who is a retired DOI employee. He also remotely updated the audio system. I spoke to the service Manager at the Poplar Bluff, MO Ford dealership and he said the audio system should not be updated. When he updated the system, my Mother had to replace the battery
... on the car and now the audio lights on the radio stay on and the Bluetooth and wifi is constantly searching for a connection, which it did not do before TF messed with it. TF done this to my personal Chevy Malibu as well, which led to its decommission, leaving me stranded on the side of [XXX], west of Ellsinore, MO, where there was no cellphone service and in the middle of a very bad thunderstorm. TF was using said device to track me after working hours or when I was using my own personal sick/vacation time, which he and his cousin [XXX] used in my wrongful termination. About 30 minutes before I got ready to leave for lunch or get ready to leave for the day, I would watch him go to the door to make tracking device active/wake up. He was monitoring/redirecting mine and my Mother's phone calls and internet traffic as well. This is illegal as well as an invasion of privacy, that ANY ADULT should not be a part of. In my opinion it looks worse for a government employee doing it, when they know better. TF's supervisors knew what was going on too, as well as all of the girls that I worked with, but did not try to stop TF's infringement on my civil rights. This invasion of privacy started around June and continued after my termination as well. I know of 2 other former employees of the City that have had the same exact problems too.
While driving our 2023 Chevrolet Duramax diesel suburban, I was waiting, at a complete stop, against the median to make a U turn. When the traffic cleared, I began the turn when I suddenly noticed a nearly complete loss of power, hesitancy of engine engagement, and little response to the gas pedal being depressed. Then an error message appeared on the dashboard stating "Low acceleration warning".
... There was very little acceleration power available. The rear wheels seemed to spin. I was perilously endangered while making a U-turn across lanes because of this loss of power. The vehicle was then taken immediately to our local Chevrolet dealer who diagnosed a error code message (P0700, 0747) related to transmission valve and injectors. We are very concerned that this was a dangerous occurrence and should be further investigated. We have a 30-year history of Suburban ownership, however this is our first diesel model. We have never had problems of this significance, or seen this error message before. Since this diesel Suburban is nearly new, we are particularly concerned about the durability and safety of this vehicle. Please see attached servive report. The AC compressor was also failed and replacedRead more
