Audi has a pre-sense mechanism that cannot be permanently turned off. I have almost been hit three times when the Audi brakes FOR NO REASON at all; people almost rear-end me because the Audi comes to an immediate halt. And there is no reason for the pre-sense to engage when it does go off. They are flukes. I am going to get seriously injured.

They called it a thermal runaway and it burned for hours before being moved to a safer, emptier lot where it was covered in thousands of pounds of sand. The night before the mileage range dropped roughly 70%, unaware of the recall in our mail that hadn't been opened we stopped to try to charge so we could get home. Thankfully none of the chargers worked since the recall was for a potential fire if plugged into a level 3 charger. We tried to drive home only to end up on the side of the road in total system failure. Police sent incident management to get us to safety. If we had made it home we are told this could have caught our home on fire and would likely have blown up our house and taken neighbors houses out as well. It could hurt more people or structures while they tried to recreate the problem. I understand the dealership had $20K in damages from the fire on top of which my car is clearly a total loss. Homes & Businesses nearby had to be evacuated. *Yes, what is left of the car has been inspected by the county fire marshall, insurance co. Police were called, but no investigation. Approximate date 10/7/2025. Driving 20mph clear daylight sunny conditions in right lane, another vehicle in left lane put on right blinker to merge in front of me into my lane. The merging vehicle was 3 car lengths ahead and had plenty of space to merge. Merging vehicle was only half way into right lane when without touching the brakes and no warning alarm the wheels locked up completely, skidding

A vehicle ahead of me applied their brakes,no imminent threat, I placed my foot on brake pedal as a precaution, then brakes locked up so I pumped brakes thinking what else could I do? This did nothing, brakes remained locked until vehicle stopped. Almost got rear ended again. I can’t remember if any audible alarm or dash warning. These were the only 2 incidents with braking failure. Hyundai Dealer booked appointment but they could not find any issues with the braking system on 10/2025. Mechanic could not reproduce braking issue. When I picked up vehicle I spoke to the mechanic. He said “ if the braking issue occurs again please make another appointment. The salesman who I purchased the vehicle said “shut off the warning system”. Which I declined his offer. Thank you!Read more

I leased a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Gengras CJDR in Fairfield, CT. I received two catastrophic recall notices from Jeep on Nov. 24th, 2025 and was notified of a third catastrophic recall when speaking to Jeep Customer Care on Nov. 25th, 2025. The first recall notice, # 68C/NHTSA25V-741, pertains to the car's high voltage battery. The HV battery in my vehicle "may become damaged during
... normal vehicle operation, which could lead to a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and injury to persons outside the vehicle. Vehicle risk is reduced when the battery charge level is depleted. Accordingly, owners are advised to refrain from charging. Out of an abundance of caution, FCA US is also advising owners of these vehicles to park away from structures or other vehicles until the remedy is obtained". FCA US has NO REMEDY at this time. The second recall notice, #A7C/NHTSA25V-710, pertains to the vehicle's HCP randomly resetting, which causes a loss of engine power, regardless of vehicle speed. The vehicle has been updated with "Firmware Over-the-Air" software which may cause incomplete communication between the Telematics Box Module (TBM) and the Hybrid Control Processor (HCP), this condition may cause the HCP to perform a reset. An hcp which resets while driving may cause a loss of drive power which can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning. FCA US has NO REMEDY at this time. I was advised of the third recall notice when I spoke to Carl, of Jeep Customer Care, on November 25th, 2025. I was assigned case #XXX. I was told the third recall involves remnants of sand and finishing debris of the engine block was found to cause the engine cylinders to seize, causing a loss of drive power and possibly a crash as well. FCA US has NO REMEDY for this recall either. My car is a DEATH TRAP! How can Jeep continue to sell a car like this and not face a class action lawsuit? I refuse to drive the car. When starting to accelerate, the automatic transmission shifts hart into second or third gear, and sometime has no power, like it is idling for 5 to 7 seconds before engaging. The problem has been reproduced and confirmed by Quirk Ford of Augusta, Maine who said I must have had a faulty transmission from the factory. The safety issue is hesitation from the occasional loss of power during the har
... d shift which could put one in danger of being rear ended. The were no warning indicators except the sudden jarring during hard shift. Other than the problem being diagnosed by the dealer, it has not been inspected. Hard shift first appeared around 75,000 miles. Dealer flushed and Changed fluid. Reappeared with loss of power during around 130,000 miles. Transmission being replaced 12/15/25 at $9200. Ford basically said it was my problem. I have had two ford rangers before that I drove for over 230;000 miles each without any transmission issues. Clearly the 10 speed transmission is flawed and needs a recall.Read more

Midway Ford kept the vehicle for weeks and eventually claimed the battery was defective, but attempted to charge me over $2,000 for sensors and a fuse box despite my Ford 5-year/8-year warranties and an extended service contract. I opened formal complaints with Ford, Metro Ford, and Midway Ford. Ford acknowledged factory defects, and the vehicle has more than six prior repairs since 2022, consistent with known issues in similar models (vacuum pump failures). During active state and federal investigations—and without my authorization—Midway Ford moved the vehicle off their property. I have evidence from the Ford app showing it was relocated to an apartment complex, then a private house, and finally to an unauthorized tow yard. When I returned to the country, police accompanied me to the location where I found the vehicle hidden, vandalized, with deflated tires, scratches, and surrounded by stripped and crashed cars. Midway Ford initially denied having the vehicle and later changed their statements. Afterward, all alerts were cleared from the Ford app without explanation. Midway Ford acted without permission, moved the vehicle during an open investigation, manipulated its condition, and returned it damaged. I request a full safety investigation due to repeated failures, loss of power, shutdowns while driving, and the dealer’s negligent handling of the vehicle.Read more

Midway Ford acted without permission, moved the vehicle during an open investigation, manipulated its condition, and returned it damaged. I request a full safety investigation due to repeated failures, loss of power, shutdowns while driving, and the dealer’s negligent handling of the vehicle.Read more

When I shift my car into park and turn off the engine, an error message appears-"Shift to Park." Although the dashboard displays that the vehicle is in park, the radio and lights remain active & I am unable to turn off my car. To resolve this issue, I must restart the car and cycle through park, reverse, or neutral before attempting to shift back into park again. It often takes multiple attempts
... to eliminate the error message. My Traverse is currently at the dealership, where I have been informed that it needs a new shifter, which is not covered under warranty. These vehicle is garage kept, one owner & has less than 32k miles on it- I have also discovered that this issue is recognized by GM, with numerous complaints documented on this site alone. Given that this is a widespread problem affecting many owners, it seems unreasonable for us to shoulder the expense of this repair.Read more

I am experiencing recurring failure of the rear self-leveling shock absorbers on my 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. This is a repeat failure after a warranty repair approximately 10 months ago in which both rear shock absorbers were replaced along with the upper insulators per TSB 22-SS-001H. Current Symptoms: The noise occurs on both sides, primarily at lower speeds (under 20 mph), and is mo
... st noticeable when the vehicle is turning and weight transfers off a wheel, or when encountering a series of small, sharp impacts. The noise does not occur consistently with every bump but appears related to suspension unloading. Abnormal "pogo-ing" behavior: On smooth road surfaces at speeds between approximately 5-20 mph (such as in slow traffic on freshly paved roads), the rear of the vehicle exhibits a rapid, repetitive bouncing motion that jolts passengers forward and back. This behavior is pronounced enough that passengers have noticed and questioned it. Symptoms are noticeably worse in cold weather and improve somewhat in warm conditions. The rear suspension feels firmer after the vehicle has sat unused for several days. After regular driving, the suspension becomes softer and more compliant. This is a widely documented problem affecting 2020-2025 Hyundai Palisade models equipped with the Nivomat shocks, per Carscoops Hyundai is aware of the problem. Online forums and complaint databases contain hundreds of similar reports. Many owners report multiple shock replacements under warranty, with some experiencing 3-7 replacements on a single vehicle. The replacement parts appear to be the same design as the original components and fail at similar or accelerated rates. This issue can affect vehicle stability and braking distances, making it a concerning safety issue. I am requesting NHTSA investigate this recurring suspension failure as a safety defect warranting a recall and the development of properly redesigned replacement components for affected vehicles.Read more

Hello, I have a recall for the corrosion on my Honda CRV 2008, American Honda already has everything on file from the dealer ship I took to get it inspected and is been a whole month and American Honda hasn’t reached out to me. I have been asking American Honda if I could get a loaner car or rental as the service manager at the dealership has said he cannot provide a rental until American Honda

And I’m just reaching out if you guys could help me anyway to help me get this sorted out, dealership has already told me the car is un repairable at this point due to the bad corrosion and American Honda has acknowledged that and said someone from the median department or something like that was gonna reach out to me that was 2 weeks ago and I have reached out a week ago and they said someone would reach out and I have not received anything as I have told them, I really need a car since I recently had my baby and you know I need to come to work and go back home. The problem is the oil pump has a chain that stretches over time and gets stuck causing the motor and back tire to seize. ON or about 12/31/2012 I was riding my 2001 Yamaha r1 down the 10 freeway by the 10/57 incherchange. The oil pump chain had about 20k miles on it and stretched getting stuck on the gear teeth and causing the motor and rear tire on the Yamaha r1 to seize. Luckily I heard a vo
... ice in my head to pull over to the right lane and be prepared. So I locked up the rear tire and motor and then slid on my tires to the shoulder with out being struck by the vehicles behind me luckily. (there was a huge semi behind me at the time) I looked up this design and I found that all Japanese and some Europe bikes have this design flaw in their motor. The Ducati has a gear to gear oil pump so its better and safer than the Japanese sport bikes. I also did some research on the Porsche Panamera and that has a similar design chain driven oil pump but it has a tensioner on it to prevent stretching and lock upRead more

Truck regularly experiences throttle lag leading to dangerous/hesitating entry into traffic/intersections. Either each occurrence, after 1 to 4 seconds the vehicle will lurch forward hard after the pause. It has also happened when accelerating to pass on the highway. This also happened with the original and replaced engine.
