Vehicle equipped with Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised v 14.2) software exhibits unsafe automated behavior due to removal of driver speed control. The system infers speed limits and driving speed without allowing the driver to set a safe maximum speed. In residential neighborhoods with children, pedestrians, and shared social spaces, the vehicle drives at model-inferred speeds that are sociall
... y and physically unsafe. Driver is unable to impose a lower safe speed limit without disengaging. Tesla removed previous option for driver to adjust speed. In a state park campground, the system failed to detect a posted 15 mph speed limit and inferred a 55 mph limit. The vehicle accelerated to unsafe speeds on narrow, pedestrian-heavy roads, with no driver ability to cap speed while under FSD. This represents a loss of human override authority and unsafe autonomous system behavior, creating pedestrian hazard and safety risk. Failure mode: automated speed inference dominance, map prior misclassification, lack of driver override, unsafe autonomous acceleration in pedestrian environments.Read more

I am writing to report an unresolved safety recall for my vehicle. I received Safety Recall Notice 25V695 in October 2025, and as of today, the recall has not been resolved because the required repair parts remain unavailable. This recall involves a safety-related defect, and the extended delay in providing a remedy raises serious safety concerns. I have contacted authorized dealerships, and I ha
... ve been informed that parts are still on backorder with no estimated availability date. Given the amount of time that has passed since the recall notice was issued, I do not believe this recall has been addressed within a reasonable timeframe. The ongoing lack of an available repair increases the risk associated with operating the vehicle under normal conditions. I am requesting that this issue be reviewed to ensure the manufacturer complies with its obligation to provide a timely and effective remedy for this safety recall. My 2018 Traverse has had several issues the past few years such as the electrical components in the car turning on and off randomly, a shift to park message which has been fixed twice, and the most current problem is the transmission. I was out of town 160 miles away with my family of 6 and we were about to drive home when the engine started to sound forced while I was driving. It wouldn't go pas

After driving cautiously to 2 mechanics they referred us to a transmission service location. We had to leave the car there for several hours and came to find out that the transmission needed to be replaced and it would cost anywhere between $4,000-$9,000 depending on if they try to fix our transmission or replace it with another transmission and the cost would depend on the warranty years. We ended up getting it towed home so that our local mechanic can take a look at it. We still haven't gotten it fixed because the repair cost is so high and we can't afford it. For being a 2018 and only having 65,000 miles we should not be having transmission issues. We also took it in to our local Chevy service dealer who confirmed the transmission needs to be repaired or replaced and an accurate cost is unknown until they open it but the first estimate was $10,000. My vehicle is available for inspection upon request. I did see there was a recall for transmission issues for this make and model but it doesn't come up for my VIN. I really hope that Chevrolet can apply the recall to all VIN numbers affected because it is a very costly repair and has put my families safety at risk. It should not keep happening to others.Read more

The vehicle frequently fails to engage gas engine when depressing gas pedal to any degree. A full push of the gas pedal does not result in gas engine engagement. This has happened over 15 ties since the recall computer update last summer (2025). This creates extreme danger because the operator expects the full power of the engine to engage when pulling out of intersections or crossing oncoming tra

No warning lights occur when the malfunction happens. And no check engine lights occur either. The only correction is to fully turn the vehicle off and back on. Doing that resets everything back to normal. This malfunction usually occurs within the first 25-30 minutes of vehicle operation.Read more

The rear driver-side wheel detached from the axle, resulting in an immediate loss of vehicle control. As a result, the truck left the roadway. Insurance has not yet completed its inspection of the vehicle; however, the crack and damage to the wheel were obs

Additionally, an independent witness reported that the truck appeared to abruptly lift off the roadway, as though something suddenly caused it to “go flying.” Due to the sudden nature of the incident, no warning lights illuminated prior to the loss of control. All airbags deployed during the incident. The tailgate was dislodged, and the driver’s side of the truck sustained severe damage, including significant damage to the axle. The vehicle is not operable. While insurance has indicated the truck will likely be deemed a total loss, the claim has not yet been finalized. On January 25, 2026, my 2016 Ford Edge experienced a catastrophic brake system failure corresponding to NHTSA Safety Recall 25V-544. "recall" (as described on Ford's website) no. 19N01 is not actually a recall. It's a "Customer Satisfaction Program" that extends warranty on the transmission of my truck to 150000. I was going 70mph and it suddenly dropped into 1st gear and I came to a screeching halt and was thrown into the ste

I don't think it's right that this wasn't covered for ALL vehicles with these problems no matter what time or number of miles. I am looking for compensation for the replaced leadframe because Ford KNEW about the problem but chose not to issue a full recall, even though they called it a recall. This put many people in such dangerous situations and my truck still shifts hard to this day. Why is Ford not helping me just because I was just over 150,000 miles.Read more

I am reporting a serious nighttime visibility and driver-assistance safety issue with my 2025 Honda Passport. During evening driving, approximately 60% or more of the upper portion of the windshield appears blacked out or severely dimmed, significantly impairing forward visibility. This condition worsens on downhill grades, where an even greater portion of the windshield darkens. Visibility improv
... es when high beams are manually activated; however, driving continuously with high beams is unsafe and inappropriate. This creates an unreasonable risk of collision, particularly on unlit roads and downhill grades, as pedestrians, road curvature, and hazards are difficult or impossible to see without improper use of high beams. In addition, multiple ADAS systems operate erratically. Adaptive cruise control delays braking on downhill grades until the vehicle accelerates approximately 9–10 mph above the set speed, delays acceleration after braking and resuming, and disengages with minor steering inputs. Automatic high beams operate inconsistently. These issues persist despite recalibration. The condition has existed since early ownership and continues at approximately 20,000 miles despite multiple service visits. A Honda field technician confirmed all systems were calibrated but did not perform a nighttime drive. A dealership shop foreman conducted a nighttime drive but did not share findings, and I was told he was unavailable and had already spent “enough time” on the vehicle. My initial service record included the notation “do not diagnose.” I was initially told the dealership had never encountered this issue; later I was told they had seen it on other vehicles but did not know how to fix it. A dealership-recommended nighttime comparison drive with a 2026 Honda Passport did not exhibit these issues. I also regularly drive a 2024 Honda CR-V that shows none of these nighttime visibility or ADAS problems.Read more

... Fl. I viewed Honda manual for 2021 Honda CRV camera problems. Had to be taken to a Honda dealership for repair. Honda forums, and Honda repair technician blogs stated backup camera lense is a defect, has to be repaired by Honda. At Crown Honda on 12/18/2025 at 10:45 AM, I was checked in by a manager. After 15 min, I was told its “Normal” he said “I looked at the same year in lot and it looks the same.” I told him the camera lense housing is loose and needs repair,“ no its not” he said. I explained the backup camera lense dropped further since 11/24/2025 and almost resulted in a pedestrian injury twice. Backing out of my drive way and in a shopping center parking lot. Both times from the rear right side of the car, a known blind spot in Honda CRVs. Both times the camera did not see the cross-traffic movement. I insisted a mechanic look at the car. At 12:07 they finally agreed to have mechanic # 971716A look at it. The second manager says “nothing is wrong.” I said, “if an injury occurs which is a result of this obstructed view, I will hold you/him accountable.” I said” check the housing holding the camera” he said “No, and the truth is; not enough people are complaining for Honda to pay for this repair”.
