When driving at low speeds and going over bumps and speed bumps there is a thumping noise coming from the driver’s side rear. I’ve had the issue for quite some time now and there is a TSB on it for a faulty shock insulator. Between 2 different dealerships they have replaced it 3 times now and it’s doing it all over again. The last dealership has told me it is normal noise for the age and mil

On February 15 Sunday night my 2024 Accord was broken in by thieves. Honda’s door lock system was so easy that robbers were able to hack it and open the driver door easily. Upon checking the internet I came across videos of how easy it is to steel the airbags since it only requires 2 small flathead screw drivers to unlatch the steering wheel air bag. During my conversation with police who files my report mentioned that “ honda is being hit with these cases a-lot and honda vehicles can easily be started with wifi system”. I spoke to the service advisor at Honda who is fixing my car about this issue, he responded saying “ there is nothing we can do. The best thing you can do is put steering wheel lock bar on it”. At this point I don’t feel safe having Honda vehicle at all. What can prevent them from not breaking to my car again after being fixed? At this point it is a high risk for me for constantly paying insurance deductibles and chances of insurance premiums increments and worst of all a constant stress every night of being hit again.Read more

The hybrid propulsion system in my Toyota Camry Hybrid malfunctioned. The vehicle displayed multiple warning messages, including “Hybrid System Malfunction” and other system failure alerts. The accelerator pedal stopped responding, and the vehicle lost propulsion while driving at highway speed. The vehicle would not restart after coming to a stop. The vehicle has been towed and is available f
... or inspection upon request. The vehicle lost power while I was traveling at highway speed during severe weather conditions (tornado and thunderstorm warnings). The car began rattling and shaking, then the accelerator stopped responding, and the vehicle gradually decelerated despite pressing the gas pedal. I was forced to activate hazard lights and maneuver to the shoulder. Multiple large trucks were traveling at high speed and did not immediately move over, coming dangerously close to striking my disabled vehicle. Because of the severe weather and approaching storm conditions, I was stranded on the highway in a vulnerable position. The sudden loss of propulsion created a significant risk of a high-speed rear-end collision. The vehicle was towed after the incident. It has not yet been confirmed whether the dealer has reproduced the failure. The malfunction occurred suddenly while driving and has not been intentionally reproduced by me. The vehicle would not restart at the time of the incident. The vehicle was towed following the incident. It has not yet been inspected by police or insurance representatives. Inspection by a Toyota dealer/manufacturer representative is pending (or currently in progress, if applicable). Approx. 15 minutes before reaching my destination, the vehicle began rattling and shaking unexpectedly while driving at highway speed. Shortly after, the rattling stopped, but the accelerator pedal stopped responding and the vehicle began decelerating. Multiple warning messages then appeared, including “Hybrid System Malfunction” and other system failure.Read more

Since Friday, February 23rd 2026 when my 2023 Chevy Colorado first start blowing oil out of the oil pan. almost 5 qts total was lost when it arrived at the dealership. Truck was out of service from Friday until the following Wednesday, January 28th. The truck was picked up and taken on a drive out to (January 29th, 2026) Waverly, KS from my hometown of Prairie Village, KS about 70 miles. On the w

Truck went back to dealership after being towed 70 miles. Where it was kept until Friday, February 6th. During this time at the dealership, they thought the problem was fixed, where again blew out all the oil while driving. Finally received the truck back. Check engine lights were still on but truck was holding oil and driving decent. Truck was doing fine until Monday February 16th. I was at a job and was driving home to finish the day. Again on the highway at highway speeds, truck goes into safe mode and limp it to gas station to again be empty on oil. It is still sitting there. Just last January the truck needed a new Transmission at 48,000 miles and at the same time a wirinig harness for the back-up camera needed replaced. Alot of things have been going wrong with this truck to be so new. It has cost me alot of out of pocket expenses.Read more

Inferior brake system on 2015 Prius master brake cylinder and vacuum booster. Extended warranty issues identified by Toyota for 10 years or 150, 000 miles. I bought my Prius used in 2021 with 92,000 miles at age [XXX] old intending it to last as long as I did. I am now [XXX] old and essentially totally independent. The above mentioned parts were identified as not functioning properly on 2/3/2026
... (mileage 139, 106). On 2/6/26, I took it to Goettle Toyota, Ocala FL (mileage. 139,160) knowing there was an extended warranty program available that was admitting the parts were defective but not worthy of recall. I was advised the warranty for my vehicle expired 10/26/2025 (3 months and 8 days prior) and was now invalid. Brake replacement cost is $3675.00 + tax🥴. I was provided warranty information and instructed to call Toyota. I called, spoke with Brook and was advised the warranty was invalid due to date even though the car has less than the 150, 000 mile covered and nothing could be done. I was never notified of this issue so I could monitor for problems before the expiration. Average life for these items on a Prius is 250,000 miles, not 139, 000. I am on limited, fixed income and cannot afford this unnecessary repair. I am already gladly driving a 10 year old car to be independent. Loss of transportation changes my entire lifestyle. I cannot afford another car (if I could, I would be fixing this one). I would be reliant FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, on others for all needs outside of my home. I live in a very rural area. I feel since I was NEVER notified of any issues and the car is LOW mileage and there should be another 100,000 miles on this car (I have driven it less than 50,000 miles in 5 years) that Toyota should honor the extended warranty based on the proximity of the malfunction to the ending of the warranty period and the LOW MILEAGE of the vehicle. Upon further inspection I pulled the rear differential cove

My transfer case chain was snapped in half and my transmission had hard shift from first to second gear and a loud buzzing noise. . I took the truck to my mechanic and hooked a scanner up to it and took it for a test run. As it was driving a sensor was telling the truck to shift into park as it was shifting from first to second or second to third causing a hard shift and buzzing noise and eventually losing all connectivity to the transmission and internals as well. I am reporting a serious safety issue involving my 2025 Hyundai Palisade. The vehicle has repeatedly produced white smoke during cold start and has experienced loss of engine power while driving. Despite multiple repair visits (six times) to an authorized Hyundai dealership, the dealer repeatedly stated that the condition could not be reproduced and no repairs were performed. I provided video evid
... ence of the white smoke and described the symptoms in writing at each visit. Shortly after the most recent service visit(12/22/25), within approximately five days, the vehicle displayed an “Engine Power Limited” warning message and a malfunction indicator light (MIL). When this occurred, the vehicle’s power was significantly reduced, making it difficult to maintain speed and creating a potentially dangerous condition, especially during highway driving or merging into traffic. This issue poses a serious safety risk because sudden loss of engine power can increase the risk of collision. The problem appears to be intermittent but recurring, and it has not been properly diagnosed or corrected by the dealership despite repeated opportunities. The vehicle has not been repaired for this condition, and the defect remains unresolved. The condition may be available for inspection upon request, and diagnostic data such as warning messages and onboard fault codes should be present in the vehicle’s system. The failure began with white smoke during cold start and later escalated to engine power limitation and warning lights.Read more
