The CAM Sensor Failed and the reluctor ring was chipped. They could not determine without spending hours taking a part the engine if it was a piece of metal from the current recall that chipped off and broke the reluctor ring. No problems until immediate failure and had to had the car towed to the shop to identify issue.

I'm going to have to replace my thermostat and most likely my sensor. It will pop up saying (steering assist is reduced drive with care) my temperature gage on my dash will sometimes will not go up, my heat is acting funny. The rear defroster massively overheated. It started heavily smoking and eventually exploded the rear windows. Only warning sign was the smoke which we noticed quickly because the windows were up. Had the windows been down we might not have noticed before a fire started. I'm taking it to a dealership now. This module also triggers on from a remote start. Extremely dangerous!!!

While driving get notice lane departure not working and thermostat registered zero, when code scanned, states low thermostat temp and able to reset with code reader. Will reoccur in minters to days later. This is an electrical issue to to the ability to reset with a code scan tool, but also a safety issue since it also effects the electrical safety ability associated with the sensor.

ALOT of people including my dealer service advisor has this issue with their vehicle this message comes up fans kick on high a/c stops working and temp gauge stops working.
