I am writing to formally escalate a serious and ongoing defect involving my Ram 1500. Despite multiple repair attempts at an authorized dealership, the issue has not been resolved. The vehicle repeatedly shuts off unexpectedly, which creates a significant safety risk while driving. I have already taken the vehicle to the dealership three separate times to address this problem, and the defect cont
... inues to persist. Because the dealership has been unable to properly repair the vehicle after multiple attempts, I am requesting that this matter be immediately escalated to a regional case manager and a Ram Field Technical Specialist for review. In addition, I would like to formally report a very concerning interaction with your customer care department. When I contacted customer care to seek assistance regarding this issue, the representative I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. During the call, the agent refused to provide her name or identification when I asked, and the call ended with the representative hanging up the phone while I was still trying to address my concerns. This experience was very disappointing and did not reflect the level of customer service I expected. Given the repeated repair attempts and the ongoing safety concern, this situation may qualify under the New York Lemon Law. If the defect cannot be resolved promptly, I will pursue the remedies available under the New York Lemon Law, including a possible vehicle replacement or manufacturer buyback. Please contact me as soon as possible with a case number and the next steps to resolve this matter.Read more

I received a "Stop vehicle and check power supply" alarm on my dash after starting the car and leaving a parking garage. Then a "12V battery voltage low" message along with the "turtle mode" icon which limits the car to under 20 mph. See attached document for complaint. Safety Recall 68C / NHTSA 25V-741- High-Voltage Battery Fire Risk On or about November 6, 2025, FCA issued Safety Recall 68C / NHTSA 25V-741, advising owners of a high-voltage battery fire risk. The recall notice explicitly states: • "A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and injury to persons outside the vehicle." • "Owners are ad
... vised to refrain from recharging." • "FC~ US is advising owners to park away from structures or other vehicles until the remedy is obtained." • "The remedy for this condition is not currently available." These instructions effectively prohibit safe and normal use of a plug-in hybrid vehicle and raise serious concerns regarding public safety and property risk. Page 1 of 4 Dealer Visit and Lack of Remedy On December 3, 2025, I presented t he vehicle to an authorized Jeep dealer: Bob Johnson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Watertown 18712 US-11, Watertown, NY 13601 Phone: (315) 965-8072 Contact: John (Service Manager) The dealer confirmed that no repair remedy existed at that time. I requested a formal repair order documenting the visit and recall status; however, the dealer refused to provide a repair order, instead offering only a coverage report indicating the recall as active with "Parts not available." Despite my explanation that documentation was required under New York State law, the dealer declined to issue a repair order. On February 28, 2026, while preparing to leave our home with our two children in the vehicle, we experienced a critical vehicle malfunction. Upon attempting to start the car, all dashboard warning lights illuminated, including transmission error, “service needed,” and “automatic emergency braking system needs service.” The battery warning light was also on. The vehicle would not start init
... ially. After eventually starting the car, we temporarily placed it in neutral and pushed it out of the garage, during which the brakes functioned normally. The vehicle was briefly driven and appeared operational, but due to ongoing safety concerns and multiple recalls, we parked it at the top of our driveway. On the following day, the vehicle would not start again. We arranged for it to be towed to the dealership. On March 2, 2026, when the tow truck arrived, the car’s position prevented loading onto the truck. Multiple jump-start attempts failed initially, then briefly started the vehicle, but it immediately shut off again. We placed the vehicle in neutral using the manual override and tested the brakes, which initially showed stiffness but were operational. While attempting to move the vehicle to allow tow truck access, the brakes suddenly failed. Despite pressing the brake pedal fully and brake lights being illuminated, the vehicle did not stop and rolled uncontrollably into our garage. Consequences: •Garage property damage: approximately $11,000 •Personal injury: my father-in-law fell while the vehicle rolled out of control •Vehicle remains at dealership with an open case, but the situation remains unresolved Safety Concern: This incident raises serious safety concerns regarding the reliability of the braking system and vehicle electronics. The vehicle became uncontrollable while brakes were applied, posing a direct risk of injury or death to occupants and others. We fear that similar failures could occur under normal driving conditions, including highway speeds.Read more

See attached document for complaint. 100,000 Toyota Tundras have been recalled for Engine defects that require engine replacements. Toyota recall letter directed me to contact my dealer for engine replacement information. I have been to Toyota of Cedar Park, Texas three times just to find out if there is a schedule that will let me know when my truck will be serviced for engine replacement. The a
... nswer was no. More questions and no answers. How many have been completed to date? Are the 2022 Tundras completed? No answer. Any idea as to when my engine will be replaced? No answer I contacted the Toyota Brand Engagement Center in Plano, Texas. My notice stated that if I needed further assistance to contact them. They could not answer any of my questions and did not know when a remedy would be available. A loss of drive power while driving can increase the risk of a crash. Why would the NHTSA allow 100,000 vehicles with defective engines to operate on the road with the risk of crash? The issue was identified in 2022 or four years ago. Why does the Toyota letter say we will notify you again when we identify a remedy. The remedy has already been identified by Toyota of Japan. They have approved replacements of engines. How long is a reasonable time for consumers to have to wait to resolve this issue? I do not feel confident driving a vehicle that can lose power at any time. Automakers have more rights that consumers. I paid a premium for this Toyota Truck. No new trucks should be allowed to be sold until these defective trucks are repaired. In my last visit to the dealership they offered me $27,000 dollars less than what I paid for my truck. I think the devaluation is due to these recalls. As stated earlier, I write this letter because Toyota has failed or is unable to remedy two defects within a reasonable time. I am requesting assistance from the NHTSA to hold Toyota accountable for these defective engines. I would like to know when my engine is going to be replaced.Read more

The service department says they are waiting on Stellantis to advise them and that they feel like Stellantis "Star Connect" tech line is requiring their service tech to perform the same repeated tests again and again to avoid approving the hybrid battery replacement. I have called Jeep customer care, opened a case twice, escalated, requested area manager, etc., and currently there is no update, plan of action, or timeline for repair. The service department said even after the battery replacement is approved (it has not been yet), it would be more than 30 days to get the new battery. So in addition to the current 37 days in service, it could potentially be another 30-60 plus days. I have been unable to get any help, any plan, any updates from Stellantis. ... ted. The failure was confirmed on February 12th by my authorized Toyota dealer, Toyota of Muskegon in Muskegon, MI as a manufacturer defect. The vehicle is currently at the dealership awaiting a replacement part and is available for inspection upon request. A broken leaf spring compromises the structural integrity of the rear suspension, affecting vehicle stability, handling, and control - particularly at highway speeds or during braking. A failed leaf spring can also contact the fuel tank, creating a potential fire hazard. This is a documented risk, as Toyota issued a recall on 790,000 Tacomas from model years 2005–2011 for this same failure. When I called my authorized dealership, the service manager told me to get the truck off the road immediately. Based on my description, he identified it as a likely broken leaf spring and that it was an extremely dangerous situation. He even suggested that I get the truck towed into the dealership. I am reporting a water intrusion issue involving the rear hatch area of my 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn. Water leaks into the vehicle through the hatch wiring boot area and travels into the interior of the car, causing the headliner to become saturated with water. During periods of rain or after washing the vehicle, water enters near the rubber hatch wiring boots and leaks into the interior
... roof area. The vehicle has two rubber hatch boots (left and right) that route wiring harnesses from the body to the liftgate. These harnesses carry wiring for several rear hatch components including the backup camera, center high-mount brake light, rear wiper motor, hatch release switch, rear defroster, license plate lights, and other electrical systems located in the liftgate. Water intrusion in this area can allow moisture to travel along the wiring harnesses and into the vehicle interior, resulting in a soaked headliner and moisture accumulation inside the cabin. Because these wiring boots contain electrical harnesses for important components such as the center brake light and backup camera, continued water exposure could potentially lead to electrical faults, corrosion, or failure of these systems. The vehicle has approximately 23,000 miles. The leak occurs during normal weather conditions such as rain. Numerous owners of similar Volkswagen Golf and GTI/R vehicles have reported similar rear hatch water intrusion issues. I have been scared to drive the car in the rain and wash my car after the incident. The hatch boots have been replaced twice per side and are still causing issues. I request that this issue be investigated as a potential design or sealing defect allowing water to enter the passenger compartment and electrical harness areas.Read more

Everything working properly and just fine until Monday 3/2/26 when I started the vehicle to go to work, the main radio multimedia screen was black and did not display anything. No sound was playing either along with when I placed the car in reverse, there was not the backup camera display as well. Everything was pitch black. I then proceeded to drive the car to work and then decided to take it to
... the Toyota dealership near my house at the earliest convenience which was today (3/4/26). In the mean time until I brought the car to the dealership, I researched information and videos on how to diagnose it myself and try troubleshooting my self. Also, when car is running, I got a message stating malfunction with AEB/FCW. Tried the fuse route and tried disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes and tried holding the main power knob for 30 plus seconds. All of those did not work. I then took into dealership and once I got there, the service technician saw the screen working and then also saw the screen acting up and turned on but had lines in the middle of the screen. The technician had me turn vehicle off and once we turned back on it went back to the black screen. So once I went the route of having them diagnose it, they said they could not duplicate concern that we saw with the lines in the screen etc., therefore the technician gave the vehicle back with the screen not working still until we do have it working with the lines. I was about to leave and then the issue with the screen and lines cam up on the screen and I was able to have the technician look at it and diagnose. That is when advisor came to me and said the radio head is completely not working and cannot be fixed or saved. Repair is $2,769 with labor for a new radio head per the advisor. According to Hyundai, all active recall campaigns have been addressed on this vehicle (NHTSA site says it wasn't, Hyundai claims it was on 9/22/2025). Last night (3/3/2026) while driving on an unlit, two-lane country road about 20 minutes from my house, I heard and felt a bang noise from underneath the rear cabin of the car accompanied by a message stating "Stop vehicle and check power supply" on

As speed reduced further (no indication of what the speed would be reduced to), I pulled the car off of the road and awaited tow service. As this happened in the evening on an unlit country road, I was forced to wait for assistance along a stretch of road that could have been hazardous. I purchased a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport (VIN: [XXX] ) from AutoNation USA Wesley Chapel on May 17, 2025. Shortly after purchase, the driver-side door latch recall issue manifested when the door unexpectedly opened while the vehicle was traveling at highway speed. The incident was documented at the time it occurred. The vehicle was later serviced by AutoNation on August 26, 2025, where the

This raises concern that the recall repair may not have been properly performed or reported, or that the vehicle was sold with an open safety recall that should have been identified and remedied prior to sale. Given that the driver-side door latch failure occurred while the vehicle was in motion shortly after purchasing the vehicle from AutoNation USA Wesley Chapel, which represented that a comprehensive multi-point inspection had been completed prior to sale, I am submitting this report as a safety concern regarding recall compliance, inspection practices, and repair documentation associated with this vehicle. What happened? While driving my 2025 Honda Odyssey, the engine failed to restart during an Auto Idle Stop event at a 4-way stop/intersection. When releasing the brake to take my right-of-way, the engine stalled completely. The vehicle became immobilized, the power steering went heavy/stiff, and the brake pedal became difficult to depress. I had to manually cycle the ignition by shifting to "Park"
... and pressing the "Start" button multiple times to regain power while traffic was waiting. This has occurred twice. What component or system failed or malfunctioned? The Auto Idle Stop (AIS) system and the Starter/Charging System. A service technician recently documented a "slow crank" during routine maintenance, suggesting the battery is unable to handle the restart load. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The vehicle stalled during a right-of-way transition (green light/4-way stop). This created an immediate risk. The loss of power steering and the stiffened brake pedal could have made the vehicle nearly impossible to maneuver manually on an incline during the failure. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed? A dealership technician confirmed a "slow crank" symptom during a multi-point inspection, though they could not reproduce an issue. The battery tested good. Were there any warning lamps or symptoms before failure? Yes. A "slow crank" was noted by a technician when attempting to start my vehicle to check my vehicle mileage. During the stall itself, a red exclamation point warning appeared on the dashboard.Read more

Very soon after purchase vehicle developed a front end shake and continued to get worse. This happens when pulling out or in stop and go traffic this varies from in intensity and sometimes it can be quite violent shaking the whole vehicle. The car has been to a GM dealership for this problem 3 times now. The first time 9/8/2025 replaced rear axle, the second time 10/20/25 both front axles were rep
... laced. The 3rd time GM engineer Paul Koerner said they are aware of this problem but there is no repair until it is further investigated this was 12/10/25. As of this time there is still no repair but a bulletin has come out document #7036661. This states the customer should continue to drive vehicle I now have 7600 miles on it and it continues to shake every time I pull out. There seems to be no repair in sight and I’m concerned something will finally fail maybe causing a serious situation and about the unknown damage this is causing to the vehicle. I have written a letter to GM corporate about my concerns and asked for vehicle replacement to no avail. I have all the repair orders and documents and would be glad to give them to you as I have tried to upload them and it seems to work but won’t let me continue.Read more

My airbag light is on after picking it up from a KIA dealership service and they are refusing to correct the issue that was caused by the dealership. I escalated the issue to KIA America and filled a formal case#25916418 on 2/26/2026. On 3/4/206 Tori at Kia Customer service informed me that it will not be covered because the dealership claims its a pre-existing issue. The dealership has failed to
... provide proof that that is true. Attached are: -The dealership’s diagnostic report -All text communications with the service advisor -Also have Video documentation of misaligned steering wheel I was unable to attach. Prior to dealership service, my vehicle was evaluated for approximately one week at a reputable independent repair facility for a cracked head gasket. At no time were there airbag warnings, steering issues, or safety system concerns. The vehicle was driven directly from the independent shop to the dealership where they preformed a warranty service. Upon pickup, I immediately observed: - Misaligned steering wheel - Illuminated airbag warning light - Coolant system air bubble (later corrected per dealership) The steering misalignment indicates the steering system was disturbed during repair. The airbag warning light appeared immediately afterward. The dealership’s report references “history” fault codes, but provides no proof the warning light was active prior to service. History codes can result from battery disconnection or electrical interruption during major repairs and do not establish a pre-existing defect. Given that: - The airbag system functioned properly before service - The steering wheel was returned misaligned - The airbag light appeared immediately after repair - There is no documentation proving a prior active fault I am concerned a critical safety system has been compromised. An active airbag warning indicates the system may not function in a collision. I am requesting that KIA fix this at no charge to me due to the reasons listed above.Read more
