Engine knocking, constantly kicking into limp mode, shaking when driving. Taken to GMC and local repair shops. Limp mode will not stop kicking on. Now other issues will mean total engine replacement needed. Mechanic says it’s not worth repairing at this point. Only 109k miles on it.

When an onstar module fails, the vehicle loses its safety features. No lane departure, no collision detection or pre-collision braking, no critical system checks. Even the gas and mileage components stop working correctly.

Brake assist light came on and brake pedal became stiff/hard to push. Vehicle struggled to brake. Replaced brake pads and checked brake fluid. Brakes still inoperable. Check engine light came on for vacuum pump. When replacing pump, metal shards and pieces were falling out when original was removed. Once replacement was installed vehicle began hesitating to start and run.

THE PARK ASSIST WOULD GO ON WHEN I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT AND NO ONE WAS IN FRONT OF ME AND AUTO STOP WAS OFF ALL THE TIME. TWO GROUND STRAPS WERE CORRODED. THERE IS A RECALL ON THEM FROM 2019 TO 2024. The "shift to park" continues to pop up and can take as long as 20 minutes to get it to go off. From what I have seen this is a super common issues for the 2019 models and why there isn't an active recall I am not sure. Getting pretty frustrating when I have read 100s of complaints about the same thing and GM isn't doing anything about it.
