Engine loss of power many different engine code took it to the dealership. Now they say lifters, rockers are loose and worn,broken,the cylinder 5 misfire, engine needs rebuild at 88,000 miles. Dealer wants over ten thousand dollars to take apart and repair

Engine failure occurred while transferring passengers in a busy road. The vehicle started making noises at first I thought it was a belt that might have been going bad. I looked at all the gages which did not indicate any issues with the battery or oil pressure or any vital issues that might show and merged to the right lane. During day to day driving when the truck is accelerating from a stopped position there's a massive clunk or hard shift from either 1st to 2nd gear. have also heard similar complaints from other 2015 sierra 1500 owners saying the transmission is having a hard shift on acceleration from a stop. Carr paused, and then stopped in the middle of the highway, without any warning lights or identifiers. While driving 13-15mph down the road the front right upper control arm ball bearing sheared off causing the tire to lean in rubbing the wheel well, forcing my truck to veer to the left across the other lane of traffic. Luckily there wasn't any car next to me.

While driving I get a reduced acceleration warning on my dash cluster, drastically reducing horse power. My check engine light came on. This has happened before. I checked the code and it was a P1098 code. After researching I found out it was the Engine coolant control valve. My fan is constantly running. This issue is ongoing. This seems to be a common occurrence with my vehicle year.

Air bag suspension does not work in sub freezing temperatures. Vehicle bounces up and down excessively and is extremely unstable and unsafe to drive at any speed. Vehicle speed was limited to 56 mph. Dealer stated that this is a known flaw but not recall has been issued. This is a design flaw that GMC should be responsible to correct.

While operating my vehicle, the power steering suddenly failed without adequate warning. The steering became extremely difficult, creating a significant safety hazard for myself, my passengers, and other drivers on the road. A sudden loss of steering assist increases the risk of collision, especially at lower speeds, during turns, or in emergency maneuvers.

Engine failure as related to RQ26-001. engine misfires after following recommended maintenance schedule for 6.2L engine. Vehicle is at dealership and available for inspection and dealer is recommending engine replacement. Engine light came on and was brought to GMC dealership same day.
