I was driving down a paved road and my side airbags deployed. The gm investigation showed my car left the road way, however I am uncertain of that. There was no crash or impact or damage to the vehicle from this incident other than the airbags deploying. There is a scrape on the passenger side due to an incident in April. That is not related to this incident.

This is a crucial of the car and it should not fail in 3 years, driving 79k in California is not unusual, Tesla service also blamed that we didn't extended our warranty after 50k. My car experienced sudden unintended acceleration. I was at a stop light preparing to turn right when my car accelerated of its own accord crashing into the vehicle in front of me. My foot was firmly on the brake, but I had lost control over the vehicle. Whatever electrical defect I experienced, it was sufficient to rev the engine by itself and override the braking system enough that the vehicle
... advanced forward in an out-of-control manner. It was unintended, unexpected and beyond my ability to control. Failing to recognize the braking system, my vehicle collided into the vehicle a second time. Because my foot was on the brake and my vehicle still advanced forward, I initially thought I had been hit from behind. However, the erratic RPM behavior and the vehicle's continued acceleration while braking confirmed I was no longer in control of the vehicle. Acting promptly, I immediately took the gear shifter out of drive and put into neutral. It was then and only then that I regained control of the vehicle: it stopped accelerating, stopped revving of its own accord and began responding to the braking system. Please note: my foot was not on the gas pedal, for as soon as I took it out of drive, the RPM returned to normal (i.e. the erratic behavior indicated by the tachometer's RPM, stopped). Had my foot been on the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, the revving would have continued to behave as before; but it did not. (I do not have an all-weather floor mat. It is neither here nor there, because in the event that I did have one, you would expect the RPM behavior to continue when put into neutral; but again, all behavior returned to normal when the vehicle was put in neutral.) Though I am sympathetic to those that panic in a moment of distress, I was of a present enough mind to know what was happening. An electrical engineer with intimate knowledge of the computer system for this vehicle would be the best to assess what went wrong from a technical perspective.Read more

I had purchased a brand new 2021 Nissan Rouge SV AWD in 2021. I am now at 46,000 miles and I have had all system lights on and off since purchase. The first started with back hatch around 20 miles, went to go get it taken care of and it disappeared. I have broke down with electrical issues twice now, with error code of 'Warning Malfunction', 'forward collision warning', 'air bag', 'forward collisi
... on light' and 'check engine" on dash. On Sunday August 10 2025, I was driving on the highway at 70 MPH, and my vehicle slammed on the brakes automatically with kids in the car. Looking at the dashboard showed forward collision light, with no cars near me. I then went 35 MPH to get off nearest exit. I made it home safely with minor issues to kids neck from the brake issue. Yesterday on August 13 2025 I went to my local supermarket to get milk, and the car wouldn't start after I went shopping and showed a different error of 'Malfunction'. In the winter time the light of forward collision comes on, and I have no control over my vehicle at all. I then assumed I needed better tires and purchased them, however it made no difference. This SUV is very dangerous, and I am terrified to even drive it. The airbag light has now been on also, and in addition to yesterday's break down, the engine light is also on. I have an appointment again for my Nissan dealer now on Tuesday August 19 2025, and hoping this will be resolved. At 46,000 miles this should not be an issue, let alone danger my family. The contact opened the hood and there were bubbles coming from the radiator. Prior to the failure, the contact had replaced the radiator, due to the engine overheating. Two weeks later the radiator hose detached. The contact stated that the fluid leaking from the radiator was dark brown and seemed to be mixed with slush. I am reporting a serious safety defect involving the electronic front door latches on my 2024 Ford Mustang Mach E. During a 12V battery discharge, the electric latches can fail, preventing the doors from opening in the outside. This means the driver or passengers could become trapped in the vehicle, or the driver can be locked out in an emergency, even if both key fob and key are present. This d
... efect poses a critical safety risk in situations requiring a rapid exit - such as accident or extreme heat and increases the risk of injury or death. As an active duty service member, I work in a secure federal government facility and have to leave my phone in my vehicle during working hours. This heightens the danger, because if the latch fails, I would have no secondary means to gain entry or exit, potentially delaying emergency responses. Ford has acknowledged the defect in the recall (25S65/25V404) in early June. They said to expect an update by the end of Q3, which is nearing and I haven’t heard anything yet. I believe this defect warrants urgent attention, and consideration of a manufacturer buyback due to severe safety implications.Read more

To date, I, like many Ram owners are still awaiting parts to become available to have them replaced per the recall and am requesting that the NHTSA step in to assist as we all have essentially unsafe trucks on US highways. I believe this should be a priority, given the fact that owners of 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks often own them to tow trailers (like myself) which leads to additional unsafe conditions on the road.
