I then contacted Honda of North America requesting help; I was informed that Honda recalls vehicles solely by VIN, and there was no recall issued for mine. The issue reported has been since day one having the vehicle. The hood shakes excessively, sometimes violently, while driving at highway speeds as well as at non-highway speeds if any significant headwind is present. This flapping creates uneven and unpredictable drag that affects the straight-line tracking of the vehicle under normal driving situations. These characteristics are exacerbated by

As the hood rises, air enters the engine compartment and causes uneven pressure changes and an unpredictable swirling and turbulent flow of air that the vehicle is not designed to handle. These combined forces acting on the vehicle throw the lane assist, cruise control, and lane departure warning systems into fits. On more than one occasion I have had to 'fight' the vehicles inputs to stay on the desired track and to avoid departing the road. Aside from immediate safety concerns, the abnormal stresses imposed on the vehicle, components, and tires are causing wear at an unknown rate and a premature component failure is likely. Napleton Genesis attempted to adjust the hood on two occasions prior to claiming to put a new hood on the vehicle. After yielding no positive results, a remedy was sought by contacting Genesis Motor America. They claimed to not know of similar complaints. After several email and phone conversations the vehicle was sent to Pugi Genesis for another failed adjustment attempt. My suspicions that it is a design flaw relating to the 'Clamshell' design of the hood were confirmed by the contact below, who stated on a recorded line on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, that she received an email from 'the engineers' claiming that they are aware of the issue and that they will not follow up because 'it is fine'. I had two others in the vehicle that observed this over 20 times. I immediately scheduled a service to look at this. After 4 hours they told me nothing is wrong. Since then the transmission has a light clunk shifting at low speed so I wonder if they lied and flushed the fluid. They said no metal was in the fluid. Online websites show many posts of owners hanging this issue. I was never shown a bulletin on any reported issues and would like to see every one related to the 8 speed transmission. My standard powertain warranty has expired after 5 years. I fear the value of this vehicle is impacted by so many complaint, no action by NTSB, and questionable practices by two GM dealers that serviced my vehicle. I would like to see a recall as this isn’t just my issue. I would like to see what investigation NTSB has done on this topic. I have printed service re odds for each I have complained about the transmission and now believe the dealer was aware of the issue and GM bulletins coached them how to tell me there is no issue. The last statement made was also odd, the service advisor told me that the clink is because the transmission sometimes goes from 3rd to 1st and skips second gear. ... hicle exceeds the limit speed, a warning bell will sound, and the speed will flash and power is cut when pressing on the gas. If the cruise control is ON, and you press and keep holding the cruise control button, sometimes the car will begin to slow below the set speed and continue to slow, even after releasing the cruise control button, and sometimes the cruise control will remain engaged after releasing the button. In this scenario, if you press on the gas to accelerate, the power is cut out and nothing happens even though you are below the limit speed. To restore power, you have to press and release the cruise control button to deactivate the cruise control. It's as though the cruise control gets into a mode where it won't hold speed, and pressing on the gas does nothing. This seems like a software bug. The above scenarios only happen when the cruise control is ON. Power is always available when the cruise control indicates that it is not activated or when in "Normal" (non-limit) mode when active. It seems counterintuitive that accelerating manually by pressing on the gas is overridden when in the "Limit" mode. I don't know if this is a design feature or a flaw. Then at the highway US 3 South it started to reduce speed by itself (55/65 zone). Almost 2 car collide with me at the rear at they had to reduce speed abruptly. I returned to the dealer with the warning lights on. The technician plug the computer deffects detector and the system could not detect the error. The warning signs where off. He drove the car and there found the traction control coming on and off causing the car to accelerate and reduced speed by itself. I thought I was not going to make it as they were a lot of trucks near me when I was trying to drive and return to the dealer. I believe this car advance AI/ML system are blocking access to detection system to detect errors. Which could endanger findings of significant errors that can cause injuries or death while driving. There even has been a lawsuit on their "fix" because they just continue to use the same sensors even when replacing the recalled vehicles sensors. They also expect you to pay 2700 to replace an ENTIRE seat cushion to replace said sensor. I am sorry but poor people do not have that kind of money laying around. While driving the vehicle out of the garage the brakes locked up. The vehicle would travel only a couple feet in forward or reverse before it came to a halt. The vehicle needed to be towed to the dealership. Had this vehicle been on a highway the failure of the braking system causing it to come to halt could have caused a catastrophic accident.

Took my car in for oil change and tire rotation. I was called that all 20 of my lug nuts have to be replaced due to swelling. For $180, which I’ve never in my life had to replace the lug nuts on any other vehicle I’ve owned. Not just one but all 20 need to be replaced.

The infotainment system on my GV80 works for 5 minutes and shuts down. The lane change warning light and front collision warning goes on and off while driving. the back-up camera and warning stopped working. When you park the vehicle, it takes at least it takes 10 minutes to completely shut down
