After driving the vehicle I will arrive at my destination. I will stop, continue pressing the vehicle break while moving the shifter from drive to park. Then, I turn the key to the off position in an attempt to remove my key from the Ignition. About 40-50% of the time, the key can not be removed. When Option 1 above does not work, with the vehicle turned off and I park, I will release my foot from the break, pause, press down on the break, start the ignition, place my vehicle in drive or reverse (depending how I am parked) and drive the vehicle 2-3 feet, stop and repeat step 1 above. Again, I many have to try this procedure several times. Option 3. After 5-10 minutes and several attempts, I will give up, turn the vehicle off, place it in park, and leave the car unlocked with keys in the ignition. The air conditioning system is also the battery management system for keeping the car at optimal operating temperatures. However, when I supercharge the car and the car gets hot the louvers aren't functioning properly and the car will not charge. Once I let the car cool down and drive, if the louvers are still malfunctioning the car will reduce power to the point that I have to pull over on the freeway and allow the batteries to cool down. This has happened multiple times where I have to stop on the freeway because the car reduces power and won't drive. When I ask Tesla to look at the problem they say because there is no dedicated error code for this malfunction, nothing is wrong with the car and I should keep driving it.Read more

Between 2020-2023, my car has completely shut off while driving down the road. I lose all power steering and the ability to use the gas and brake pedals. In total it has probably shut off on me 20-30 times. It doesn’t matter the situation or

When I get to the side of the road after coasting with what I have left I turn the car off and then back on and it starts right back up no problem. I’m sick and tired of dealing with this and absolutely no one can figure it out. I’ve put so much money into this car and quite frankly it’s a death trap and I know that others with my vehicle are having the exact same problem. Why hasn’t this car been recalled? My children and I could literally die because I may not have time to get over on the road.Read more

I have a 2016 Kia Soul with 1.6L engine. I am the 2nd owner. The previous owner got the knock sensor update but the catalytic converter still failed after the update. Now I have a flashing engine light and P1326 code along with the P40 code for faulty catalytic converter. There is a recall for 2016 Kia Soul engines but when I go to the Kia site and type in my VIN there is no recall showing for my
... VIN even though I own a 2016 Kia Soul. I think this is wrong and should be corrected. Also Kia keeps telling me that they won't fix my catalytic converter because it falls outside the 80k mile warranty. I am at 90k miles. Yet, the knock sensor was updated and there is currently a recall. The recall should supercede the warranty in this instance. Also I took the car in to have the Kia dealer diagnose my knocking engine and 1326 code. They are saying that even though my car isn't drivable and The engine is malfunctioning, because my car didn't fail the piston ring test I don't qualify for the engine recall repair. All of this is unfair. If my car is exhibiting all the signs that the engine is about to blow why do I have to drive my car until it actually does blow before something can be done? This is unsafe not only for me but others as well. Not to it's completely unfair to me as a consumer who purchased this car in good faith. Kia needs to update ALL Vin numbers instead of consumers having to find out the hard way that there is indeed a recall on their vehicle. Dealerships should be part of the process of updating the manufacturer of new owners information so that new owners can be notified of any recalls. It makes no sense that only the first owner gets information regardless if they still own the vehicle or not. Lastly I would like to reiterate; Kia telling people they have zero recalls on cars that ARE actually part of a recall is outright lying. Kia needs to post ALL recall information to their website regardless to if you input your VIN # By not doing this they LieRead more

Also the tire rotation portion of the service which is part of the service contract was not able to be done due to the swollen lug nut. My 2017 Ram 2500 Cummins pick-up truck started displaying symptoms of a bad HCU module several months ago, "Service Electronic Braking System" warning message, ABS dash light indicating loss of ABS, and Traction Control Light indicating loss of traction control, as well as kicking the vehicle out of Cruise Control when this set of condition lights are, albeit intermittently illuminated. There are

After having the issue confirmed by a third-party reputable mechanic shop AND a RAM Dealership Service department I was told the module is on backorder. Being that it is a safety system I don't trust the "aftermarket parts industry" to provide me with authentic manufacturer trusted equipment. Which leaves me encumbered with the stress and risk of having to operate my vehicle with unreliable ABS, Traction Control, Cruise Control. This is beyond a unique to me issue as there are plenty of well documented cases of RAM 2500-3500 series vehicle with this issue as well as a recall on the 2019 & up series of the same. So why would they not issue the recall for the other trucks with this safety issue? I purchased the Ridgeline in 2017 and am the sole owner. I have never towed anything with the truck. This vehicle is driven by my children and has carried passengers from toddlers to the elderly. It is obvious and foreseeable that this will happen to other vehicles at higher speeds and will be the proximate cause of injury to drivers and passengers. I had my vehicle towed to the Honda dealer Coggin Honda in Fort Pierce, Florida. They told me that the failure of the transmission is a known problem with the 2017 Ridgeline model. The transmission was replaced. Unfortunately, this was not under warranty. After searches on the internet it is obvious that this model's transmission has an inherent defect known by Honda Motors. The reports go back to 2017-2018 and continue. Honda should recall this model and repair the transmission to avoid consumers being injured by this obvious, known defect that impacts the safety of consumers.Read more

Restarted. Dealership seemed unconcerned, despite the known issue with Pacifica hybrids. Same issue occurred 7/12. On 7/13 the radio rebooted while driving down the road with no warning. (Radio issues have been ongoing and may be related to overall electrical issues?). On morning of 7/19 when final issue occurred, the radio didn't work at first. On 7/14, I pushed dealership to get software recall update that day as it did not feel safe to drive with the ongoing issues. Recall software update was in place before 7/19 incident.Read more

My wife was driving her 2019 Subaru Forester (purchased new) and the Eyesight disabled and the check engine light came on. The car was still running, but not as it normally would. It had less power but would still maintain the speed limit. At home the car idled differently, like it was running too rich or too lean. The exhaust also smelled funny.

We are having an issue with our vehicle leaking fuel on left side fuel tank. The vehicle is constant smell of gas on that left side. It has been a safety concern for us and the dealer wants us to pay at least $1200 just for diagnostic alone. There was a Special Coverage Adjustment for this issue but we were never notified. The notice is Special Coverage Adjustment 15682. I spoke with GM/Chevrole
... t Customer Assistance and spoke with [XXX] he said I would have to get diagnostic and that the fee could be applied to repair. I understand there is a time limit on most things but it seems that something that relates to safety issue should not have and end date. This is a type of car that most people just have as a collector car and you can see by the low miles that this is the case. I am not trying to get a repair on a vehicle that has 100,000 or more miles. It may seem trivial but this is important to me. Small rock flipped up by car in front of me, hitting the windshield. Windshield immediately cracked about 21". Have owned many cars with rock chipped windshields, but none have ever cracked immediately, or as badly, as this car! This pebble should have left maybe a small chip. Looked online, and other Venza owners are reporting the same thing. Glass or design is a problem.
