The mud flaps installed in front of the rear wheels were only fastened at the outer side of the mud flap. The metal subframe has holes for fasteners, however, there is NO evidence that ANY fasteners have ever been attached on the top of the mud flap frame to secure it properly. This results in the mud flaps swinging in and rubbing against the inner tire on both sides of the vehicle. Based on the d
... raft under the vehicle this rubbing can be relatively constant at highway speed. Our vehicle has approximately 18,000 miles on it as our use model results in lots of highway travel. The damage to the tires was noted by the dealer when the unit was in for an unrelated item. The passenger side inner rear tire has been severely damaged by the metal frame for the mud flap wearing into the tread on the tire. Both side mud flaps are significantly worn away. The safety aspect of this is that the tires are being damaged/compromised and may result in a failure at highway speed which could result in damage to the vehicle, other vehicles, injuries or possibly even death of occupants. As this is a failure in manufacturing/assembly and/or quality of build review, it may be widespread across the Entegra (manufactured by Jayco) Accolade and sister models of the Jayco Seneca. This deficiency may also not be noticed by many owners until long after the original warranty period, resulting in significant cost that is really the result of OEM manufacturing/assembly failures. Recommend that ALL related models - Accolade / Seneca on similar chassis must be inspected and the installation corrected as required.Read more

On Saturday November 16th 2024 I was driving my Honda CRV hybrid year 2021 when about 7:10pm I heard a beep, beep, beep and at the same time the car suddenly breaked in the middle of an intersection; there was nothing in the forward path so I don't really know why the car stopped abruptly. After a few seconds I put my foot in the accelerator and continued to go. When I arrived home I reviewed the
... videos (I had installed front and rear cameras) and verified that certainly there wasn't anything in front of the car when it braked by itself other than a manhole cover. I was in the car with 2 friends, thankfully no other cars were behind me or coming in any direction otherwise this event would've been catastrophic. Now I am afraid to drive the car because this could happen again and have a different ending. Note: I have videos that show this incidentRead more

On [XXX], I was involved in an accident in Maryland while driving my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was raining and despite attempting to slow down, brakes performed poorly, causing my car to skid and collide with the vehicle in front of me. Fortunately, no one else was injured, but I sustained a neck injury, and my car was ended up a total loss. During the accident, I noticed the ABS warning light
... had activated. This, combined with prior experiences of delayed brake response, raised concerns about the vehicle’s safety. Having derive. For over 15 years without incidents, this was my first major accident and I suspect it may be linked to a mechanical issue. After learning about recent calls related ABS/brake issues in Jeep vehicles, I felt it was important to report my experience. I urge you to re-evaluate the safety of the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s ABS and braking systems to prevent similar incidents in the future. The hybrid battery coolant heater (part 68443445AC) was confirmed a problem, however the dealership wont review ANY recalls on my vehicle until I pay $1700 to replace that part. Subject: Complaint Regarding Camshaft and Lifter Failure in 2015 Ram 1500 5.7L V8 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding the camshaft and lifter failure in my 2015 Ram 1500 5.7L V8, which has only 141,000 miles. This issue began as a faint ticking sound—known commonly as the “Hemi tick”—and has progressively worsened, leading to severe internal engi
... ne damage. Now, I am faced with the need for a complete engine replacement. The “Hemi tick” is a widely recognized issue that often starts with a minor noise but is known to develop into serious mechanical failure in Hemi engines. Despite its prevalence, this issue is frequently dismissed until it causes significant and costly engine damage. In my situation, what began as a ticking noise has led to camshaft and lifter failure, which I now understand is a recurring defect in these vehicles. This situation presents a major safety concern. With these parts deteriorating from what appears to be a design flaw, there is a high risk of sudden engine failure while driving. The failure of the camshaft and lifters can lead to immediate loss of power, which could leave drivers stranded or in dangerous situations on highways and busy roads. Additionally, sudden engine failure at higher speeds could lead to loss of vehicle control, endangering not only the driver and passengers but also other motorists. I recently experienced this firsthand. Luckily, my family and I, were able to maintain control and get to safety. I believe that this widespread defect requires attention to ensure the safety of those on the road. I respectfully request that the NHTSA investigate the durability and reliability of the camshaft and lifters in Dodge Ram vehicles with Hemi engines and take appropriate action to address this safety risk. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that the NHTSA will act in the best interest of all drivers affected by this issue.Read more

There is a constant issue with the fuel level gauges (Ducati 59210242B) in this model of bike which causes the sensor to burn out randomly and unexpectedly thus possibly leaving someone stranded due to improper information from the bike. This could leave the potential for an accident as well if the fuel cuts out completely while highway driving and the unexpected deceleration causes someone to re

The only fix is to replace the unit which owners have to do at their own cost due to a faulty part that can crap out at any time. One theory is that the part fails due to ethanol exposure in the gasoline, but I have been using purely ethanol free gasoline ONLY in my bike for the past few years and this is the third time I am experiencing this problem and I have only owned the bike since 2021. It was replaced right when I bought it by the dealership I bought it from. I took it into my local dealer about a year and a half ago and they didn't replace it and said the problem went away. They are aware that the safety features are not working (including Adaptive cruise control, lane sensing, forward collision detection, stability control among others) I am in Maine for the summer - but I arranged for a neighbor to drive the car to them.
