The sidewall of my tire completely blew out on a flat, clear road. Leaving my neighborhood, I heard a questionable sound that I thought may be ice build up on my mudflap rubbing against the tire. I continued to monitor my suspicion, as it was hard to tell whether there was actually a sound, or if it was in my head. Turning out of my neighborhood, I continued listening for anything suspicious. ... r feeling like I was in the clear, I brought the truck up to 45-50mph. Suddenly, the truck began bouncing like crazy, and I was able to manage pulling off to the side of the road. The shoulder was only a couple feet wide, followed by a steep hill, so my truck was sticking out into the road quite far, and it was night time. I sprung into action as quickly as possible to minimize risk as I went to change the tire and replace with the spare. Since it was night time, and the road only had one lane in each direction, there were at least 3 times that my car / myself were almost rammed into, or the car approaching me wasn't able to see cars approaching from the other direction, and almost caused a head on collision. There hasn't been an official inspection of the tire yet. There were no warning lamps prior to the failure. I had a near death experience on a snowy morning hiting a slick spot and fish tailing. The tires provided should be better than what they are. Another time last week I drove over melted snow (40 degrees out) must have been ice under, car would not break and I was unable to stop at the stop sign! The GPS on the Uconnect radio has failed and the map, compass, and clock do not work. This is a know problem on this radio. They promised that if I took delivery, they would provide me with the needed repairs this was back on 9/26/23. The dings and paint issues were never resolved. What I did receive was a complimentary h

I shifted into park while I was backing up, when I slowed down, and when stopped in the middle of traffic which became a safety concern. Several near collision misses while backing up made the situation life altering and produced extremely stressful situations arises from the self shift issue. In addition, a few times I could not even get into the vehicle due to key fob to car communication issues. I had to use other transportation. This was corrected, however it still happens from time to even to date. The fact that too many warning lights would flash constantly on the dashboard made it impossible to know what was malfunctioning or what was working in this vehicle. More than ten service tickets were ignored. Some did not seem to even go through when using the fisker app or their official website. There was also a battery drain issue that left me stranded twice I had to call for tow assistance. On 9/20/24 an OTA update was forced through that made the car battery drain an feel like the Fisker it was stalling. I drove in the slow lane made it home, charged my car, but the car had bricked. No one from fisker would answer, I had to find assistance elsewhere. I had to pay out of pocket to fix this, $617.70. In addition to all the current lingering issues, it had a door handle issue from the inside and out. To resolve this, again I had to pay 360 to fix it. The manufacturer was required by NHTSA to update the vehicle software to address critical safety issues. This effort was implemented through Over The Air (OTA) updates last fall. This software update was a very large and complex file and required the car to be "On" for the duration of the updates. This caused the 12 V battery to drain beyond capacity, and the update was only partial, resulting
... in a non-operating vehicle. In order to remedy this situation, a local technician was needed to manually install this update, resulting in an $800 charge directly to me for this mandatory recall. The technician was able to "unbrick" my car, as well as complete the software update to the NHTSA required software level of version 2.2. Even after this update, my car is unreliable, and has safety issues with warning lights in the dash. There were 3 critical recalles issues by the NHTSA for this vehicle - 1) Software update, 2), Door handle function, 3) Coolant pump replacement to avoid "limp mode" in the drive train. I have had all of these issues coompleted on my vehicle, with an out of pocket expense of $800, which has not been reimbursed by the trustee for this company. The company (Fisker) is in bankrucy proceedings (chaper 7), and all responsibilities to get these recalls accomplished and paid for, have not been accomplished. The OTA team, and the trustee are not cooperating with the owners of these vehicles. We are all stuck and need an intervention by the NHSTA to help get these recalls and reimbursements completed.Read more

... malfunctioned with showing the srs lights on the dash. I was told that Mercedes of Sarasota, FL had replaced the passenger airbag module by Mercedes of South Orlando. When asked for a printout verification of this repair showing to be completed; they said they couldn’t provide me with this information. As proof of the service to being completed could not be provided. I had tken my car to their to have them look into this, and the tpms sensors showing malfunctioned; communication error message, and they couldn’t figure out what the problem was causing this. I had to take my car to an auto electrician to find out the problem; that I had found out that a 100 amp fusible link had blown, causing all those problems with also the roof wasn’t working. Along with I was smelling fuel. I found out about the recall for these items after getting them repaired out of pocket by the auto electrician Mike from Peak Audio, and Electric, and as to the fuel filter flange I had to pay like $1,200 to replace as they had replaced the fuel level sending unit that include the fuel filter flange. I would like refun; still have the headrest driver side that needs to be replaced. I found out that their is an recall for this make, and model of car that had said the air bag deployment software was under recall for those vehicles; which I believe could have triggered the deployment of the head rest while I was driving; as if I had been near a car; I could have been involved in an accident. I think that this should have an open ticket for repair placed on all 2012 Mercedes E350 Cabriolet Blue Efficiency.Read more

We had rats chewing the wires in the engine last year in April, for $6.9k repair cost and again this year in February for $7.4k in repair cost. The vehicle immediately began to stall out sounding as if it wasn't getting enough fuel. The last 2 times it stalled when being started, the vehicle remained on once I gave it a little gas by pressing the gas pedal when the stall started.

Dealer did not complete recall while in service Nov 15 2024, service order shows parts are on back order. After 2 months I reached out to Corp who reached out to dealer. Both copr and the dealer ended up calling back just yesterday, however the message from copr stated the part is ordered it's way but the message from the dealer stated software upgrade needs to be done first before ordering parts.

[XXX] . I have a 2006 BMW e91, but mine is not listed for recall above in the link. Currently have a fault for occupant detection malfunction. I also have sports seats listed in the above document. Completed NHTSA recall 24V-868 at my dealer December 13th 2024. ICCU failed on 1/1/2025 and I am awaiting on the 3rd ICCU for my vehicle in less than 2 years. Similar issue happened December 2023, completed the ICCU recall and had the ICCU fail in a similar fashion.

For about a year occasionally when I put my van in park it rolls away mostly within approx.5 seconds thankfully all the times this happened I was able to jump back in to hit the brake pedal. Engine failure believed to be related to NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 21V-301. Vehicle had no warning lights on message. Vehicle turned off while driving and steering wheel became stuck and vehicle jerked off road, I turned vehicle back on and it sounded like a truck and would not move again.
