Two component issues on 2010 Forest River 31THSB 1 - Lippert axle hub brake drum failure. Multiple failures of these axles and Lippert have not issued a recall. My trailer lost the wheel from the axle, with the brake drum still attached to the wheel. Fortunately, we were not traveling at highway speed. Tire rolled underneath the trail causing damage to the side and underside of trailer. Lippert ar
... e aware of these constant axle failures and their solution is to sell you two axles for the price of one. 3-to-4-week delivery! Does not include the property damage, or take in account we where 3000 miles from home. 2 – Lippert frame and wing supports, where pin box is mounted to the frame of trailer, failed. Front and back welds on wings to main frame broke. Huge safety issue. Repairs to the failed frame and wing supports were completed at an RV dealership. The dealership and welder commented that the manufacture welds were poorly done. Lippert rep has heard of this happening to other Forest River RVs but very few, but does happen! Fortunately no one was injured. Just what you want to be doing while on vacation.Read more

ST225/75R15 - had blowout on front driver side of RV that has dual axles. After putting spare tire on, I had gone less than 30 minutes down I-75 and had a second blowout on rear passenger tire as I pulled into a Camping World to get new spare. After 3rd tire was determined to be bad, ended up replacing all tires with Goodyear Endurance tires. Fortunately they had 4 in stock. I initially bought t
... he RV brand new in July 2019 and tires only had about 3,000 miles on them. I am part of several Facebook RV groups and heard of this happening all the times re: “China bomb” tires. Never felt it would happen to me. I feel that with these castle rock tires having such a bad history, then RV manufacturers should be putting better tires on. And/or RV dealers should replace upon arrival to their sales lot.Read more

The slide out system cause the frame to separate from the wall of the travel trailer. This allowed water to get into the wall which rotted the support. On Sep 17th, while coming off a 2,000 mile road trip to Yosemite, the rhino rack with tent and awning ripped off my No Bo 10.6 trailer, did 4 frisbee turns in the air and came crashing down into the fast lane of I93 between Las Vegas and Kingman. The weight alone (roughly 500 lbs.) would've killed anyone driving behind me. Luckily it didn't and skidded into the emergency lane. The lack of concern
... from the manufacturer has me stymied. I've been told it was a manufacturing defect but am unable to get any phone calls or emails back from their warranty/service department. This was installed at the manufacturer. I need to make sure all owners of a No Boundaries 10.6 trailer are aware of this as I do not believe any type of recall or notice has gone out from Forest River. Dealer has all photos.
