Car was leased on 2/2025, at the end of May 2026 I drove the car for a couple of days when I began to notice there was an issue when turning left. Anytime I made a left turn, the car would get stuck and would pull back to the right. When the left turn was being made, there would be a clicking sound from the front left side of the car. When driving straight, the car felt like it needed to pull to t
... he right and I would need to hold on to the steering wheel tight. At the beginning of June, I took the car into Honda where they checked it and recommended the steering column to be replaced and advised my husband that the car was no longer safe to drive. The car is 1 year and 4 months and has had no issues until now. Honda is no longer giving me warranty on the car due to the high mileage and they are quoting me $5048.67 to replace the car. I submitted a request to Honda for a "goodwill" repair but have not heard back from anyone. Because my VIN was not part of the Honda CRV steering gearbox assembly, the service manager stated there was nothing they could do to help me.Read more

The factory-installed tow mirrors on this vehicle present a severe safety hazard due to a major engineering and ergonomic design flaw. The physical size and placement of the side mirrors are excessively large, creating massive blind spots at the front pillars of the windshield. This completely obstructs the driver's forward-diagonal visibility, creating a "blind wall" effect that fully hides oncom
... ing mid-size sedans, motorcycles, and pedestrians when approaching urban intersections, roundabouts, and crosswalks. This layout is entirely unsuitable for normal daily use and causes extreme driver distress due to near-miss situations. Additionally, the advanced safety electronics housed within these mirrors malfunction constantly. The Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) warning lights freeze or lock up on the glass, or the dashboard displays a permanent "Blind Spot System Unavailable" error message shortly after starting the vehicle or deploying the power-folding mirrors. The 360-degree perimeter camera feed also experiences intermittent signal loss. The hardware components are available for inspection upon request. The electrical faults have been confirmed by an authorized dealer but a permanent design fix for the forward visibility hazard is required from the manufacturer.Read more

When driving the truck the power steering would go out and make the truck almost impossible to turn. ... p with assurance that this issue was resolved, and it is was towed back to the dealership by Honda Towing. The repeated part swaps, without root‑cause diagnosis, clearly have not resolved the issue and have left us with a one‑year‑old vehicle that is unreliable and unsafe to operate. My minivan has failed in the middle lane of a major road while idling at a stoplight twice and in a parking lot once. All incidents were within 15 minutes of driving and 5 miles from my home. This is a critical safety defect and the repeated failures place this vehicle within the criteria that may qualify under Kentucky’s lemon law. We have not made that claim yet, but we are formally documenting the repair history and escalation. ———- -Starter failed and was replaced twice. This could have something to do with the auto start/idle system. -our one year old van is unsafe and unreliable. It died near a major intersection while idling at a stop light. On May 19, 2026, my 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe suffered a sudden, catastrophic engine failure while traveling at 60 mph on a public roadway. I originally took retail delivery of this vehicle brand new on October 29, 2025, with only 14 miles on the odometer; at the time of the failure, the vehicle had only accumulated 10,049 total miles. The failure resulted in an immediate, complete loss of motive power
... at highway speeds, creating a severe, life-threatening safety hazard to myself, my passenger, and surrounding traffic. The vehicle was towed to an authorized GM dealership for emergency service. Upon removing the oil pan, dealership technicians discovered a high volume of metal debris and fragments, indicating a severe internal mechanical failure (likely failed engine bearings). General Motors corporate subsequently mandated secondary diagnostic teardowns. Following these tests, GM confirmed a total, non-repairable engine failure requiring a complete engine assembly replacement. This vehicle has remained entirely out of service and non-operational since the date of the incident. On June 24, 2026, with the vehicle out of service for 36 consecutive days, I issued a formal demand letter to General Motors Customer Relations, demanding that they adhere to New York State Lemon Law statutory requirements and initiate an immediate vehicle buyback. Due to this severe defect, this vehicle is now deemed entirely unsafe and unreliable for my family, as our confidence in its mechanical integrity is permanently destroyed. Furthermore, a vehicle requiring a complete engine replacement at this mileage has suffered severe diminished financial value. A catastrophic engine failure on a low-mileage, current-generation vehicle poses an immediate, critical manufacturing defect and an unacceptable risk of high-speed collisions.Read more

... pected. In some instances, warning messages, including a collision mitigation message, has appeared on the dashboard before the car restarts. This condition has occurred repeatedly over several years and has happened at intersections, while stopped in traffic, and while stopped on highways. The inability of the vehicle to restart and move creates a safety risk because the vehicle may remain disabled in active traffic when acceleration is needed. The issue was reported to the selling and servicing Honda dealership (Cambridge, Honda in Cambridge MA) multiple times over several years. In August 2025, the vehicle received Honda's prescribed repair under Service Bulletins 23-008 and 23-009, including replacement of the starter assembly, starter relay, and battery. Despite these repairs, the same condition returned less than one year later and has occurred at least seven additional times. The vehicle stalls and sometimes displays the collision mitigation/crash warning message before restarting. In June 2026, the vehicle was inspected again by the dealership. Technicians were unable to reproduce the condition during testing and declined to perform additional repairs. The defect remains unresolved. The vehicle has already received Honda's recommended AIS repair, yet the same stalling and crash mitigation message continues to occur. The intermittent nature of the defect makes it difficult to reproduce during short dealership evaluations, but it continues to occur during normal operation and presents an ongoing safety concern.Read more

Randomly but frequently, my car would turn off when coming to a stop and with the auto shut off - but the full car would turn off and to move, I would need to press the ignition to turn back on and drive. This even occurred while accelerating onto a highway. I took this to the shop and after 6 months of back and forth and paying for fuel injectors they 'repaired' it. Now, my car felt heavy with t
... he auto turn off but the vehicle stayed on. The next day, while trying to accelerate up a hill on a highway, the RPM would rev but the car would not shift and accelerate. Additionally, I am getting 'parking sensor error or blockage' but they lines and sensors are all working.Read more

After being stranded, getting a new battery, being stranded again and again (with a newborn and toddlers). This is a serious electrical issue causing the battery to not fully be charged even when car is off. No external components plugged in. Many people have this issue with the car and it needs to be addressed as a recall.

VIN # [XXX] Ford Customer Service Current Case Number: [XXX] Integrated Trailer Module Failure after recall completion. NHTSA Campaign ID Recall # 26C10 was completed at Coconut Point Ford in Florida on 3/26/2026. This recall identified that when towing a trailer, the integrated Trailer Module may lose communication with the trailer possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights or a lo
... ss of brake function. On [XXX] in the middle of a seriously steep and dangerous decent, the system reported that the trailer was disconnected from the truck causing, loss of trailer brake control which in turn cause a reliance on the truck. The antilock brake system failed moments later. I had to literally stand on the brakes to slow down to keep from going over the side of the mountain. At the end of the dirt road where it Ts onto the highway we could not stop. We travel with a 23 foot 2019 Vintage Cruiser manufactured by Gulf Stream. That weighs approximately 5200 lbs empty; I have a Cat Scale reading of 4840 pounds from a 12/6/24 weight with my previous truck. We do not travel with any water in our Black, Grey or Fresh Water tanks so even fully loaded we are still well within specs for this trucks towing capacity. The brake control on the truck was set to 5. Faricy Boys Ford in Canon City Colorado, verified that a recall had been completed and worked on the truck for 3 full days, testing many things including tailgate malfunctions and miscellaneous electrical systems trying to replicate the problem, no dealer has been able to replicate the problem. They finally replaced all the brakes and rotors as well as flushing the brake system. I respectfully requested that Ford Motor Company assign the review of this case to a regional Customer Service Manager / Engineer to review the complete repair history of this vehicle, via registered mail. We haven heard anything yet. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more
