The Advanced Driver Assistance System (EyeSight/Automatic Emergency Braking), the Service Brakes, and the Central Electrical System malfunctioned. The vehicle is currently held at an authorized dealership and is available for inspection. On Monday, June 22, 2026, at approximately 4:47 PM, while traveling at highway speeds on I-295 South under clear weather conditions, the vehicle suffered a catastr
... ophic, unprompted automatic emergency braking event. While my right turn signal was active and I was initiating a lane change to pass a truck, the autonomous braking system engaged with maximum force, pulling the brake pedal completely to the floorboards with zero obstacles present. A consumer mobile telematics application (Life360) officially registered the extreme hard-braking event at 4:47 PM. This unprompted stop caused the vehicle to violently lose traction, fishtail across highway lanes, and nearly roll over in high-speed traffic, placing my life and the safety of surrounding motorists at extreme risk.Symptoms of systemic electrical network instability occurred prior to this failure, including a dashboard GPS clock that precisely jumps four hours ahead in specific geographic location, and a power rear liftgate/hatch that randomly opens only halfway or reverses direction unprompted. Furthermore, this identical bouncing and jumping brake system behavior was first reported to an authorized dealership service center in November 2023 at 14,435 miles while operating on factory-original wheels and tires, but the dealer was unable to duplicate or resolve the issue at that time. The manufacturer's corporate customer advocacy team has been notified and a formal vehicle inspection is scheduled for next week.Read more

Brand new car just purchased the end of March 2026. Went through car wash multiple times with no issues until one day the shark fin antenna came off and broke the plastic anchors. Now the circuit board is exposed to weather hazards. I read online multiple times this is an ongoing issue with this specific make and model and still GM declines to cover this under warranty.

On June 25, 2026 my 2023 GMC Yukon Denali with 53,456 miles was brought to an authorized GMC dealership after displaying a Service 4WD warning light and exhibiting a groaning noise when shifting into Drive and Reverse. The vehicle was diagnosed with the following brake system fault codes: P25A2, C0511, C0517, C1595 and C1596. These codes indicate brake control module failure and wheel speed sensor
... faults which are safety critical components. The dealership confirmed these findings but stated the repairs are not covered under the GMC powertrain warranty. Given that these are safety critical brake system failures on a nearly new vehicle with only 53,456 miles, we contacted GMC Customer Care on July 1, 2026 to request coverage under goodwill warranty as we believe these failures constitute a manufacturing defect. A case was opened however after 7 days no case advisor has been assigned and no decision has been made despite two promised timelines not being met. The brake system failures on a nearly new vehicle represent a serious safety concern as these systems directly affect the vehicle's ability to stop safely. The vehicle has been at the dealership since June 25, 2026 and remains unrepaired.Read more

The AC evaporator has a leak. I am reporting as this is a well known issue on the Volvo's, especially the 2016 XC90 which has a large amount of issues that cause issues of safety and undue amount of financial burden on owners who operate the vehicle in normal conditions. I have been told by the dealer after they repaired a another issue of the engine (8 times this vehcile has been in for repair o

I have asked dealers and mechainc shops who see dozens a week of these repairs needed. The avergae cost I have been quote is $4000 for repair and the volvo service dealer I could told me, these keep the shop going. There is no way that this is not a issue to the public that puts a undue burden to owners, one that Volvo HQ in USA acknowledges is a issue but is not required to do anything.Read more

I am reporting a safety defect involving my 2025 GMC Hummer EV 3X (VIN: [XXX]). On XXX at approximately 18,880 miles, I first presented the vehicle for steering/alignment, suspension, and handling concerns. As of this complaint, the vehicle has approximately 26,840 miles. I have driven nearly 8,000 miles while repeatedly reporting unresolved safety concerns and transporting my two children (ages
... [XXX] and [XXX]) because I had no practical transportation alternative. Following warranty repairs, including rear control arm replacement, the vehicle developed a severe pull to the right that did not exist before repair. It requires constant steering correction to remain in its lane, and Super Cruise can no longer reliably maintain lane position. Premature and abnormal tire wear has continued throughout the unresolved alignment condition. The vehicle has undergone six warranty-related service events at two authorized GM dealerships. Despite repeated repair attempts and two direct escalations to General Motors requesting repurchase, the only resolution offered has been additional diagnostics and repair attempts. A courtesy loaner was not offered until the sixth service event, after months of unsuccessful repairs, thousands of miles of continued operation, lost wages, and repeated travel. The vehicle also continues to experience water intrusion despite warranty repairs. Rainwater enters the passenger compartment, leaving a persistent musty odor and raising concerns regarding mold, mildew, occupant health, and interior deterioration. I have filed a Georgia Lemon Law claim after exhausting GM’s internal process. I also documented my experience publicly. Posts received approximately 17,500, 48,900, 60,100, and 24,800 views. Parking Assistance malfunction as well as an SRS airbag malfunction. I am submitting this complaint to report a potential safety concern involving a new 2026 Toyota RAV4 that I purchased from an authorized Toyota dealership. Shortly after taking delivery of the vehicle, I began receiving multiple warning lights and error messages. Because I was concerned that a brand-new vehicle was experiencing
... these issues, I took it to my local Toyota dealership for diagnosis. According to the service department, the issues appear to be related to aftermarket parts installed on the vehicle. I was advised that aftermarket components can interfere with the vehicle's electronic systems and should not be installed. I informed the dealership that I have not installed, modified, or added any aftermarket parts or accessories since purchasing the vehicle. If the vehicle was sold to me with aftermarket components already installed, I believe this raises significant concerns about whether the vehicle was in the condition represented at the time of sale and whether those components could affect the safe operation of the vehicle. As a consumer, I had every expectation that a new vehicle would be delivered with factory-approved components unless otherwise disclosed. I respectfully request that NHTSA review this matter to determine whether there are any safety implications and whether additional investigation is warranted. I am also requesting that this complaint be documented in the event similar complaints are reported involving other vehicles. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please let me know if you require any additional documentation, including service records or diagnostic reports.Read more

My 2016 Honda Pilot Touring repeatedly stalls and shuts off while driving, including at lower speeds in traffic. When it happens, the engine and all electrical power shut off; the vehicle then has to be jump-started, and it will sometimes only restart after sitting for an hour or more. This is a serious safety hazard because the vehicle can lose power unexpectedly while in motion, creating a risk
... of a crash and of being stranded in a travel lane. The failed component is the fuel delivery system (fuel pump / fuel system pressure). The condition has been diagnosed repeatedly with trouble code P0087 (Fuel Rail/System Pressure — Too Low). It was first documented on July 18, 2025 at 144,303 miles by an independent service center, which diagnosed a failing fuel pump. On March 13, 2026 a Honda dealer again retrieved code P0087 and diagnosed a failing fuel pump. In April 2026, a second Honda dealer could not reproduce the code, replaced the fuel injectors instead, and the stalling returned within about 670 miles. In May 2026 that same dealer documented the problem as a "reoccurring issue" and now recommends replacing the in-tank fuel pump. The warning symptom prior to failure was the check-engine/malfunction-indicator lamp, which set code P0087; the stalling followed. The problem has been confirmed and reproduced by both an independent service center and a Honda dealer, and the vehicle is still owned and available for inspection upon request. No crash, fire, or injury has occurred. This stalling/loss-of-power failure mode is the same one described in NHTSA recall 23V-858, in which the in-tank fuel pump can fail and cause the engine to stall while driving. This vehicle is exhibiting exactly that failure mode but is not currently included in that recall population. I am reporting it so the agency is aware, and I request that this vehicle be considered for inclusion in recall 23V-858.Read more

I am reporting a systemic pattern of safety reporting negligence, property damage, and data manipulation by Toyota of Woodbridge. On March 26, 2026, the dealership performed a backup camera recall (25TA13) but completely failed to address or notify me of a second open safety recall regarding the instrument cluster (Recall 25TA08). Consequently, in early June 2026, the unaddressed defect manifested
... : the digital dashboard screen went completely black while operating, creating an immediate highway hazard. The vehicle was returned to the dealer to address this screen failure. Sometime between June 10 and June 17, 2026, while the vehicle was in the shop's care, the passenger seat trim panel was physically broken and sheared off by technicians. On the June 17, 2026, invoice, the dealer officially logged Job #3 as a completed Multi-Point Inspection (MPI). However, during a subsequent visit on July 2, 2026, the Customer Service Advisor openly admitted that the June 17th inspection was never actually performed, proving they falsified the safety record, and could only display the outdated March 26th data on his screen. This pattern culminated during the July 2nd visit, which was for a diagnostic check regarding vehicle sounds. The dealership used this visit to aggressively demand an immediate $1,100 tire-and-alignment package based on hidden telemetry. When I demanded the physical MPI report to verify their claims, my requests were ignored and the telemetry and MPI reports were only provided after the new tires were installed. When I saw that the telemetry reports and MPI did not justify the damage they verbally claimed, I asked for and was given a full refund and my old tires were put back on the vehicle. Upon taking delivery, the vehicle's Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) was flashing a dashboard safety fault. Ourisman Toyota Woodbridge ignored a Toyota Corporate mandate to contact me by close of business July 7, 2026. The vehicle is available for inspection.Read more

The Infotainment System in my 2018 Honda Odyssey is malfunctioning, just as is reported by many other Honda vehicle owners. I am experiencing the same issues as others where the speakers are crackling, the audio fails, the screen turns off intermittently while the vehicle is operating leading to the reverse/back-up camera to fail. When the screen is operational it glitches at times (I have videos
... of the occurrences mentioned). I am aware that a recall was issued in June of 2023 (NHTSA Recall 23V-431) but when I brought my vehicle to Honda Cars of McKinney (Dallas, TX), they said that my 2018 Honda Odyssey did not have a recall of the Infotainment System and charged me a diagnostic fee but returned my vehicle without resolving the issue.Read more

Formal complaint against Nissan North America regarding premature CVT transmission failure on a 2016 Nissan Rogue (VIN: [XXX], Case #XXX, XXX with under 54,000 original miles. During a routine check-up, an independent mechanic scanned the vehicle and found hard codes P17F0 and P17S0, indicating severe internal CVT failure and judder defects. Following their advice, I brought the vehicle to Hudson
... Nissan (Jersey City, NJ) for official diagnosis. The dealer charged a $219.20 diagnostic fee and confirmed total internal failure of the CVT, quoting $7,829.88 plus taxes to replace it. On XXX, Nissan Executive Level denied my goodwill request, claiming the warranty expired and they "did not know the service history since 2019." I completely reject this. I possess physical, dated service receipts from 2019 to 2026 proving the car was meticulously maintained (oil changes, alignments, fluid checks) at certified shops. I am fully prepared to upload this complete history to the BBB portal. A transmission failure at under 54k miles is unacceptable and points directly to an inherent manufacturing defect in Nissan’s Jatco CVT8 systems, which is well-documented and the subject of major federal scrutiny and class-action lawsuits (e.g., XXX v. Nissan North America). Hiding behind a chronological warranty window to evade responsibility for a known defective part on a low-mileage, well-maintained vehicle is bad-faith customer service. Desired Resolution: I demand a formal re-review of Case #XXX by Nissan’s corporate dispute team. Nissan must provide 100% financial coverage for the CVT transmission replacement at an authorized dealer and full reimbursement of the $219.20 diagnostic fee. I will upload all 2019-2026 maintenance records the moment this file opens. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more
