ICCU failed at 20,000 miles, 2 years after I first got the vehicle. Blue link showed the P1a9096 ICCU code failure. Car could not be driven for more than a few minutes then the message to stop safely came about and car would die. It took the dealer 2 months to replace the ICCU with the SAME defective part. It is only a matter of time before it fails again.

Brakes do not have proper stopping power. The brakes are very slow to react, and the brake pedal has a long travel before the truck starts to slow down. This can be extremely dangerous in city driving. We have four of these F-650s in our fleet, and all four of these trucks exhibit the same poor braking. Trucks are all new with hydraulic brakes.

My wife was driving our 2016 Mazda CX-5, and was getting ready to pull into our daughters' driveway. My wife slowed down to a stop before entering the driveway. She gave the vehicle some gas to move forward. She stated that there was a pause, then the vehicle accelerated forward slamming into the garage door and the corner of the garage/house. ... as knocked back about a foot and a half. The distance from the edge of driveway and street to the garage door is about 27 feet. This happened at 1:30 PM. The weather conditions were great, sunny and dry. Thankfully, no one was hurt. If my wife was another foot to the right, she would have hit the support post for the upper balcony, and there would have been a good chance of the balcony falling on top of her. Or, if someone was standing in front of my wife when she entered the driveway, they could have seriously been hurt! There were no warning lights on prior to the accident. This happened last Sunday, April 19, 2026. We had the car towed to a local body shop on the same day as the accident. The vehicle was towed away the very next day to our insurance company's salvage lot in Bakersfield. I do have all the information, address and phone number, of the lot where our car was towed to. We have owned this vehicle for less than 1.5 years and have had two battery replacements. I've also had the vehicle not start from my garage or parking lot. When I try to start the vehicle a second time, there are times where the start button feels very firm and doesn't push down easily. I have to push the start button several times before the vehicle starts. I'm grateful there have not been any major accidents occur but this is an extremely unsafe situation for the driver and their passengers.Read more

This creates a serious safety risk because the vehicle height changes unexpectedly and remains in an elevated off-road mode not intended for normal road use. It can affect handling, steering stability, braking, visibility, headlight aim, tire wear, and rollover risk, especially at highway speeds or during emergency maneuvers. Uneven ride height from one side to another further increases the risk of loss of control. Prior to complete failure, symptoms included abnormal vehicle stance and the suspension not responding normally to ride height changes. Warning messages/lights: UNKNOWN at time of filing. The problem has not yet been confirmed by a dealer or independent repair facility, but online research shows many owners reporting similar Quadra-Lift air suspension failures around similar mileage. This appears to be a common premature failure involving air struts, sensors, compressor, or related components. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. I am filing this complaint because this suspension defect impacts safe operation of the vehicle and may affect many owners.Read more

... ar to a Honda dealer and they confirmed that all of the fuel injectors needed to be replaced and said the fuel injectors are "faulty" and "from a bad batch." Lots of Honda forums online talking about faulty fuel injectors. A whole thread on 2017 CR-V fuel injector problems can be easily found online along with service bulletins for fuel injector problems (with the code P0172) for similar year, different model Honda vehicles. The dealership confirmed the fuel injector problem but then said they couldn't source the parts despite a "global search" and putting us on a "critical list." We then went to a competent independent mechanic who was able to source Honda OEM fuel injector replacement kit from a different Honda dealership (not sure why the first Honda dealership couldn't get the parts then...) The independent mechanic said the fuel injectors looked "terrible" and "definitely faulty." He sent us home with the old parts, which we have and could supply. Faulty fuel injectors affecting the propulsion system feels unsafe and the fact that Honda told us "you are out of luck" with regard to replacements was especially aggravating. We had no chance to pursue a goodwill repair of the issue even though our independent mechanic did find the parts at Honda in spite of the first dealership's claim of a global search. The service that was performed included replacing all fuel injectors and whatever is in the associated OEM kit. In summary, fuel injector problems caused ALL warning lights to come in, dealership confirmed problem, mechanic repaired, many reports of same issue online.Read more

On April 27, 2026, I attempted to start my 2022 Ram under normal conditions. The vehicle became stuck in an abnormal ignition state between on and off and would not function properly. Shortly after, the vehicle began exhibiting erratic electrical behavior, including the power windows moving up and down on their own without input. At the same time, I lost control of the vehicle. ... locked, and I was unable to turn the wheel. The brake pedal also locked and could not be pressed. I attempted multiple times to shut the vehicle off using the push-button ignition, but it would only make a loud clicking sound and would not power down. The electrical system remained active and unresponsive. I also noticed a strong sulfur-like odor coming from the vehicle, consistent with a possible battery or electrical failure. Due to the loss of control, electrical malfunction, and odor, I determined the vehicle was unsafe to operate. AAA roadside assistance was called. The driver (Paul “Willie” from the Thunderbird office) also attempted to shut the vehicle off but was unsuccessful. He noted the sulfur smell and stated it appeared to be an electrical issue. Because the vehicle could not be placed in neutral, he used a screwdriver to access the manual panel and pull the neutral release cord to allow towing. The vehicle was towed to the dealership. Upon arrival, the key fob was taken into the office, but the truck remained running in the parking lot without the key fob present. This failure occurred without warning and represents a serious safety concern due to loss of steering, braking, and inability to shut off the vehicle. The vehicle is used by my family, and I do not feel it is safe to operate until the issue is fully diagnosed and repaired.Read more

SUMMARY OF DEFECTS •Multiple 48 V battery failures and replacements •Multiple replacements of DC/DC converters and failures •Multiple Coolant System failures •Sudden vehicle shutdowns while driving •Numerous non-start issues •Numerous red warning alerts related to the 48 V system •Multiple towing incidents (One involving the police) Despite extensive repair attempts, including replacement of major components, this vehicle continues to fail and is currently still at Mercedes-Benz of St. Louis unrepaired. These repeated repair failures demonstrate the vehicle cannot be repaired to conform with warranty standards. SAFETY INCIDENT My most recent safety incident: On March 10, 2026, this vehicle shut down in the middle of a busy multi-lane roadway, requiring police assistance and emergency towing due to the safety hazard presented. The vehicle has remained in possession of Mercedes-Benz St. Louis since that date (over 45 days) and remains inoperable and unrepaired. This vehicle had also been towed to Plaza Motors two additional times for the same reasons and was there for many days adding to this amount (See attachments). The fire department checked the contact's vital signs. The contact was transported to the hospital by his mother. The contact was diagnosed with vestibular system hypofunction and vascular neuritis. The contact sustained a high concussion, pain from the neck, through the back and down to the leg, headaches, crystals in the ears, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. The contact was currently undergoing pain management, physical and psychiatric therapy. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed and totaled by the auto collision repair shop and the insurance company. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the air bags should have deployed. On 12/4/25, I visited Corley's Lincoln and reported several issues. One issue was that the vehicle would accelerate or decelerate while using cruise control. At this point, I began to keep a log. On 4/19/26, I set the speed at 56 MPH while driving on [XXX] , and within a short time the speed increased to 65 MPH before I stepped on the brakes. I have tested the cruise control several times since with the same result. Also on 4/19/26. I was braking to a stop on [XXX] , when the crash warning was activated. There was no one in front of me and no cross traffic. The only cars were in the opposite left-turn lane, 6 lanes away and completely stopped. This has happened several times, usually while slowing to a stop. I did not report the crash alert to the dealer until 4/20/26. However when the rain subsides and the driver message clears the entire Roadwatch system DOES NOT return to normal operation. After calling Freightliner Custom Chassis I was told the engine needs shut off and restarted to clear the malfunction! This forces the driver to find a safe place to pull off the road and accomplish the reset. But in the meantime the vehicle is driven without a critical piece of safety equipment that was designed to improve safety, when in actuality decreases safety after each rain event. I am writing you this so you are informed of the situation should a traffic accident happen you have a better picture of what may have happened and to hopefully force the manufacturer to issue a recall and resolution to this defect. Hello, I would like to report a safety issue related to my motorhome. I have a 2025 Tiffin Phaeton 40IH on a Freightliner Custom Chassis, VIN [XXX] . ... splays the message “Radar Screen Blocked”, obviously due to heavy rain, and it renders all of Roadwatch system inoperative. However when the rain subsides and the driver message clears the entire Roadwatch system DOES NOT return to normal operation. After calling Freightliner Custom Chassis I was told the engine needs shut off and restarted to clear the malfunction! This forces the driver to find a safe place to pull off the road and accomplish the reset. But in the meantime the vehicle is driven without a critical piece of safety equipment that was designed to improve safety, when in actuality decreases safety after each rain event. I am writing you this so you are informed of the situation should a traffic accident happen you have a better picture of what may have happened and to hopefully force the manufacturer to issue a recall and resolution to this defect. Exhaust manifold studs broke off (as do they all break) and turbos oil lines leak engine oil causing fire. By the time I stopped and got out there was already flames coming out from the hood. It was so fast I didn’t have time to be get my firearms or tools out. I have not notified Ford or and I only had liability insurance on my 2016 f150. 3.5 eco boost.

I received a safety recall for the PTU unit on my 2019 jeep cherokee, the service 4x4 system light was on. I took it to the dealership where they said they cleared the recall but the light was still on and the 4x4 system still did not work. They told me they did what they were supposed to…period. ICCU failed despite all prior recall updates being performed. Incident began when home circuit breaker tripped; vehicle subsequently refused Level 1 charging with "Check Electrical System" warning. Per dealer suggestion, tested public chargers. Level 3 (DC) worked, but upon connecting to Level 2 (AC/J1772), a loud "pop" occurred, and the public charging station immediately suffered a mechanical fa

Vehicle then displayed "Stop vehicle and check power supply," and was unable to drive above 40mph (with a turtle icon visible on the dash) once I pulled away from the charging station. This created a significant safety hazard while navigating traffic. Within two hours, the 12V battery was completely depleted; vehicle was unresponsive and required a jump-start for towing. Dealer confirmed ICCU failure requiring replacement. The fact that the vehicle's internal failure caused the immediate malfunction of public infrastructure is deeply concerning, as was the loss of motive power on the road.Read more

My Honda civic 2014 has a notice coming often in dashboard saying "Check airbag system". This car do not have major accident (only sight bumper hit on year 2022 on backside) and airbag never went off . Now the dealer was saying I need to pay for airbag change costing about $2,000. I think this airbag is defective and need further investigation.

The dashboard displayed multiple warnings and errors, including: * “Steering assist reduced – Steering may require increased effort” * “Center console buttons to select gears unavailable – Use touchscreen to select gears – Schedule service” * Repeated alerts indicating braking and system limitations * Conflicting and inaccurate readings, including the speedometer displaying “0 mph” while the vehicle was still moving at highway speed At the same time: * Braking response was severely compromised despite full pedal application * Hazard lights and turn signals were non-functional * Gear selection controls became unavailable or unreliable * Driver assistance and safety systems were disabled * The system issued instructions to “press and hold brake” while braking performance was inconsistent This resulted in a complete loss of situational awareness and control while I was in the car with my older parents and my child. l. I was unable to signal to surrounding vehicles while attempting to maneuver into a narrow emergency lane at highway speed. My family and I had fear for our lives. Critically, the vehicle instructed to exit immediately while we were still in a dangerous roadside position without functioning hazard lights.
