Driving along at 70 mph and just crossed a bridge and met the asphalt when all of a sudden the steering wheel shook violently & almost caused a fatal accident. I HAVE ONLY HAD MY 2022 FORD F150 XLT FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS AND THE AC IS NOT WORKING. IT IS BLOWING HOT. I TOOK IT TO DEALERSHIP AND PAID $220 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC AND THEY SAID IT IS THE EVAPORATOR CORE. When driving the vehicle, my husband noticed the engine was over heating. He pulled over and had the vehicle towed to a mechanic. The mechanic advised us that the engine is loosing coolant and this was a known issue with the 2019 Ford Edges. So now we are facing an expensive engine replacement.

Front cv axle failure causing severe vibration with acceleration Ford has not fixed yet 40k miles started

I have had many issues with this vehicle. The engine leaks oil onto the exhaust causing the engine to smoke, the engine uses antifreeze, the transmission will downshift at highway speeds to such a low gear that I need to put the van into neutral so that the engine doesn't blow up. It uses brakes quickly, (New brakes every 10,000 miles or so). Gas milage is less then 12MPG as well.

Around 50,000 miles I noticed the car would jerk when trying to shift gears , this issue persisted and would only go on to get worse. It started taking forever to accelerate regardless of pressing on the gas, now at 70,000 miles it won’t shift out of 2nd gear when driving over 40 mph, it’s a huge safety issue .

The airbags did not deploy when the car was in a front and rear end collision on 2/12/26. Injuries occurred. No one has confirmed the problem. The car was taken to a Collison center to be evaluated but am uncertain if that part has been evaluated. There were not symptoms of failure beforehand.

The transmission shifts hard when downshifting from 10th gear on the highway. There is a loud audible clunk that you can also physically feel. Also when shifting around 3rd gear during city driving there is the same problem. Both of these could lead to loss of traction/vehicle control.

My son is a mechanic and realized there was an issue. He found this issue: The engine loss compression on number four-cylinder severe power loss inspected; found damage to top of number four piston, most likely due to valve failure. He took to Ford dealership in Tuscaloosa, AL. They agreed with the assessment. Ford Motor Co.would not repair, stating this issue was not caused by recall.

I'm experiencing the wheel lock from downshift referenced in Investigation: EA26001. I've experienced it when downshift happen going down canyons in Utah. Additionally, I have downshift issues when going uphill. It triggers P0741-00 and P1744-00, which appears that it could be an issue with the lead frame.

While driving on the highway, (I-40) my dash lit up with "transmission fault stop car" The it shudders, bounced in and out of gear to finally completely stopped. Although I wasn't killed, my life was in danger. I believe the 2017 dual clutch transmission is faulty and should be added to the 2016 recall.
