My truck is associated with recall 19V-075. I had the local dealer perform the software flash however my transmission is now downshifting at highway speeds and I almost lost control.

Ford has a recall on all back up cameras on Ford Edges due to the camera malfunctioning but they only have the recall back to year 2015. My camera has been malfunctioning forever but I did and do not want to pay to get it corrected. The camera shows everything upside down. I feel Ford should fix every camera that has issues, not just from 2015 and beyond.

Transmission and Timing Chain Failure. John Vance Ford inspected F150 Jan 26, 2026 and Mar 2, 2026. On Mar 2, 2026 it was determined transmission ($8,740.85) and timing chain ($4,948.86) needed to be replaced. Transmission failure while driving can cause sudden loss of propulsion or power, resulting in a dangerous loss of vehicle control on public roads.
