While I was driving, the transmission seemingly stopped working. I was able to coax the car into a parking lot and had it towed to the dealership. I was told the transmission failed and needed to be replaced. I was quoted approximately $7000.00 for this repair. All of its prior service, except for occasional oil changes, had been done at the dealership.

Oil pan leaks. The F150 just crossed 70,000 miles. At just under 60,000 miles the truck had what the Ford Service tech described as a weap from the oil pan. He said it was a costly repair so just to watch it. At 65,000 it was a steady drip when the oil was warm. Now at 70,000 the Ford dealer is recommending a replacement. Purchased the vehicle used Oct 5, 2021 with 27285 miles on it. Last year engine light came on and the problem was coolant getting into the engine block. Was told there was no recall. Dealer I purchased it from replaced the bad engine. it cost me $7100.00, which they said was their cost to replace with no extra fees. Vehicle had 33,000 miles when this happened.

Vehicle experienced loss of power while in travel down a mountain. After inspection by a mechanic, CP4 pump had a catastrophic failure sending metal shards throughout the fuel system. This was less than a month after Fords SAFETY RECALL 24S78 that failed to remedy the problem, but before recall Number26V158 was issued.
