On oct. 26, 2025, I was in a bad car accident. I was coming home and came to a stop on Spring Street. In Marion. MA before entering Rte 6 . I looked both ways and the rte was clear. I looked again both ways and still was clear, so I moved my 2025 Bronco Badlands onto the Rte 6 and within seconds I was hit very hard on the front left quarter. My SUV spun around at least 270º and I was immediately
... taken to the ER nearby (Tobey Hospital) for Brain and neck Studies. No airbags deployed. I have photos of the vehicle showing my damage. The driver of the other car must have been speeding as the hit was huge. I was the sole person in my car. The Marion PD Officer who was in charge of this accident changed the story to say "I looked both ways, saw a car coming and I moved forward" into Rte 6 to get home around the corner. I had injuries all over my body and brain with concussion/mild TBI. There were no witnesses and the building near the scene of the MVA had a professional camera over their front door. They would not let me see the video. They did let the other driver see the video The angle of this cam was changed from straight across the street looking at the scene directly. I had no way of knowing what happened and I have spent about a half a year getting therapy at three different physical therapy sites/hospital. I asked the Police to see if I could ask the State Police if they would do a Collision Analysis and Reconstruction so I could know what happened as I was labeled At Fault which I understood if the other driver was driving normally and safely. I was told that if no one is seriously hurt or dead then they would do it. I lost my memory and am still getting visual changes and severe headaches. While driving at highway speed, the engine suddenly stalled without warning, resulting in a complete loss of power. This created a dangerous situation as I was unable to maintain speed or safely maneuver with surrounding traffic. At the time of the incident, all electrical warning lights illuminated on the dashboard simultaneously. Prior to this event, there were no clear warnings indicating immin

The sudden engine stall while in motion presents a serious safety risk, particularly at highway speeds, as it increases the likelihood of a crash due to loss of propulsion and reduced driver control. While driving at 25 miles an hour on a smooth curving road out of a housing area my wife who was driving and my grand daughter in the front passenger seat heard a loud boom that sounded like somthing hit the roof. I am filing a formal safety complaint regarding the execution of NHTSA Recall 24-002 (Connecting Rod Bearing Replacement) by an authorized Acura dealership, and a fundamental safety flaw in Acura’s official Service Bulletin for this recall. My vehicle underwent "Repair #1" under this recall, which involved opening the engine block and replacing the rod bearings due to a factory defect that caus
... es metal-on-metal wear. However, upon picking up my vehicle, I discovered the dealership left the old, dirty oil filter attached to the engine. I reviewed Acura’s Service Bulletin 24-002 and realized the "Required Materials" list explicitly omits a new oil filter for Repair #1. Because dealerships strictly follow this bulletin for warranty reimbursement, they are systematically leaving old filters on engines that just received new bearings. This means old, metal-contaminated oil trapped in the filter is immediately recirculated through the brand-new precision bearings. This procedural flaw directly jeopardizes the integrity of the engine, completely undermining the purpose of the safety recall and putting drivers at risk of sudden engine failure at highway speeds. I have time-stamped video and photographic evidence of my vehicle’s mileage (61,325) and the untouched, original oil filter immediately after returning home from the dealership. Acura Corporate was contacted regarding this procedural negligence and failed to provide a resolution. I am requesting the NHTSA investigate Acura's repair procedures for Recall 24-002 to prevent further unsafe vehicle modifications.Read more

A few weeks ago my adaptive cruise stopped working, as well as the automatic high beam system (not sure the technical name). As there was a warning light displayed, I brought it into the dealership to have them check it out. The technician jumped in really quick, made some changes within the control panel, and the light came off. As I drove out and tried to use the adaptive cruise control, it didn
... 't work and I almost went into the back of a truck. That all being said, I brought it back into the dealer last week for them to diagnose the problem as a failed front windshield camera. I find it hard to believe that this camera can fail at 50k miles, and the repair with parts and labor costing approximately $1000. This is an advanced system designed to improve the driver experience and heavily marketed. Considering this is tied to safety in some capacity, shouldn't GM cover this repair? I quickly googled the issue and found others have had the same failure. The camera system combined with the control panel covers so many applications, I would be concerned about other issues with the truck. Not to mention the massive recall of my L87 engine and water pump failure that I have also dealt with. I appreciate you taking the time to read my rant. Not sure if this will do anything, but it would be nice to have some sort of relief from the OEM due to the issues I have already experienced owning this truck.Read more

I’d like to file a complaint regarding Hyundai Recall#290, a potential fire hazard with my cars “trailer wiring harness accessory module”, which Hyundai has not offered a remedy at this time. I spoke to Hyundai’s customer service representative yesterday (3/18/26) about this recall that’s now over a month old, and asked if I could get reimbursed for my out of pocket costs to remove the h
... itch’s wiring at a Hyundai dealership. The rep said Hyundai won’t pay for my out of pocket cost to remove the harness wiring because they don’t have an official “remedy” yet. My local Hyundai dealership said the cost to unplug/remove the wiring would be about $200, which in my opinion would solve the problem and certainly is a “remedy”. Hyundai refuses to reimburse me this cost even though they have a Hyundai recall reimbursement program for out of pocket expenses due to recall issues. My complaint: 1 - Hyundai has failed to provide a no cost recall remedy within a reasonable period of time. 2 - if I choose to pay for removal of the wiring, my out of pocket cost of $200 will not be reimbursed by Hyundai. 3 - Hyundai’s recall says I could continue to drive my 2024 Hyundai Tucson, but apparently if the car gets wet, the wiring could ignite and cause a fire, which I’m not very comfortable with. 4 - I don’t use the trailer harness module at all since I bought the car used from the original owner, so removing the entire harness would be a reasonable solution and allay the fire risk. Thank you.Read more

Component: Electric power steering system (steering column rack). Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle required towing on November 27, 2025 — one month after purchase (October 25,

Dealer inspection and repair: Tesla service initially indicated the steering column rack required replacement. After five days, they instead applied lubricant as the sole fix. The issue was not resolved. On January 30, 2026, Tesla admitted they do not currently have an adequate solution to properly repair these known defects. Manufacturer acknowledgment: Tesla acknowledged the severity by agreeing a buyback was appropriate. On December 30, 2025, Tesla offered the full purchase price of $46,838.68 but withheld the $7,500 federal tax incentive without legal justification. While I was requesting documentation for this deduction, Tesla unilaterally declared I had withdrawn from the offer. I proposed a same-vehicle replacement as an alternative, but Tesla rejected this. Tesla will only offer a buyback minus the $7,500. On March 10, 2026, my 2017 Hyundai Tucson entered 'Limp Home Mode' while driving, a known safety defect that causes a sudden loss of engine power. Diagnostic testing confirmed error code P1326 (Knock Sensor Detection System - KSDS). Despite this vehicle being covered under the Theta II Engine Class Action Settlement (Recall 209), which provides a 15-year/150,000-mile extended warranty for this spe
... cific issue, the dealership (Jim Ellis Hyundai of Atlanta) is refusing to perform the warrantied repair. Instead, the dealership has provided an estimate (#XXX) attempting to charge me $816.22 for the knock sensor replacement. They are also withholding the full GDS diagnostic scan reports and freeze frame data despite multiple written requests. Furthermore, the dealership is threatening to charge daily storage fees while actively denying a mandated safety repair. This refusal to honor the settlement warranty leaves the vehicle in an unsafe, unrepaired condition. This vehicle is a subject of the In re: Hyundai and Kia Engine Litigation II settlement. The refusal of the dealership to perform the KSDS-related repair (P1326}) is a direct violation of the court-approved settlement terms and a failure to address a documented safety defect. On February 23, 2026, I was driving my 2023 Tesla Model Y under normal city conditions. While parallel parking at very low speed, I suddenly heard a loud metallic bang from the driver’s side of the vehicle. Immediately afterward, the vehicle lost mobility and the steering wheel became unresponsive and would not turn. I exited the vehicle and observed a detached metal suspension component and a b
... olt on the ground underneath the driver’s side. The vehicle was not drivable and required towing. I contacted Tesla Roadside Assistance through the Tesla app, and the vehicle was towed to Tesla Service Center in Coral Gables, Florida. At the time of the incident, there had been no collision, no impact with a pothole, curb, or road debris, and no prior warning signs or noises indicating a developing issue. The failure occurred suddenly during a low-speed maneuver. Tesla Service initially indicated that the vehicle was under warranty and that repairs would be covered if no external impact was found. However, after inspection, Tesla attributed the failure to an alleged “external impact” and declined warranty coverage, providing an estimate of approximately $4,000. After involving my insurance company, the vehicle was inspected by a Tesla-certified repair facility, which found significantly more extensive damage to the suspension system, estimating repairs at approximately $11,000. This incident represents a sudden and complete failure of suspension components resulting in immediate loss of steering control. Such a failure poses a serious safety risk, particularly if it were to occur at higher speeds, as it could lead to loss of vehicle control and a crash. I am reporting this issue as a potential safety defect involving suspension component separation and steering loss in a 2023 Tesla Model Y.Read more

Electronic Power Steering just stopped all of a sudden while I was going up the mountain into North Carolina that almost caused an accident the only reason it didn’t is because of the pull off right after the curve I was going through when I lost all steering! With the truck already in the pull off I stopped to see if I had lost a serpentine belt unaware this Ram is equipped with the EPS System.
... I had no phone service luckily someone came by when they did because of the snow storm seeing vehicles was few and far between! After letting the truck sit for about 20mins with the positive cable unhooked I started the truck and had steering again. So the nice gentleman that stopped said he would follow me to the nearest cell service area so I could call someone, No warning light the first time at all the second time the only warning light was service ABS system which shouldn’t affect having power steering. So I repeated the steps as I did the first time and had steering again the service ABS System light was gone and we made it 11 Minutes up the mountain before it happened again only this time all kinds of service lights came on all at once, Service Electronic brake system,Service ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM, SERVICE ELECTRONIC SHIFTER, SERVICE POWER STEERING SYSTEM, traction control was disabled which isn’t good in snowy weather conditions and i had no choice but to continue 3mins to the next town with no power steering no traction control and all these other warning lights because it wouldn’t fix it anymore temporarily by in hooking the positive battery cable and waiting 20 minutes which I attempted 3 times with no success once we reached the town I was able to call and have someone come pick me and my truck up and brought a scan tool I cleared the codes only for them to come right back as soon as I would crank the truck! Had it professionally scanned with same results! Very dangerous issue! Yes it can be inspected yes professionally inspected $2300part only not labor to!Read more
