I was on a road trip and halfway through my check engine light came on and notified me that engine power was reduced while on a 70mph highway. My car the slowed itself down to not exceed 45 then 25mph. I was in a remote area and very far away from a Chevy dealership. I was forced to drive for a long distance to make it to a Chevy dealership that was willing to work with me. Come to find out my fue
... l pump failed and the car is only 2 years old with only 58,000 miles. This same issue happened a few months ago and I was told by my dealership that it was just update codes required by Chevy that did not update correctly. I’ve had several other issues like this and have been told it’s because the new cars are “basically giant computers”. This car also got a new battery after one year because they stated a faulty or crappy manufacturer battery they put it went bad. My local dealership then tried to charge me for it until I reminded them of my warranty. I take my car for regular oil changes under the 6,000 miles to keep my Warranty Forever. I was terrified driving on highway roads when my car wouldn’t exceed the required speed limit causing other motorists to navigate around me all because I needed to make it to a Chevy dealership willing to work with me.Read more

Vehicle shut off while driving. Luckily we were in right lane and we just drifted into breakdown lane with no power steering or power braking. These cars are unsafe 2500-4000 lb missiles going down the roadway and the government is continuing to allow them on the roadway with serious life jeopardizing known defects. The dealers point at Jeep, Jeep points to dealers, both point to Stelantis and it
... an endless run around. All we want is out of the lease and nobody will help. We can’t drive the car as it’s unsafe. Our dealer is trying to help and gave us a loaner car (of much less value) but we are paying a lease on a much higher cost car while driving a low value loaner, meanwhile Stelantis just ignores the request to be let out of the lease without paying the full lease value on turn in. That’s over $13,000 if we turn it in now. Stelantis says work with your dealer. The dealer says we can’t do anything until they come out with a fix. We just want out of the lease. These cars are unsafe, by their own admission, and should not be on the roadways.Read more

I was pulling out of a parking space, and the car opposite me in the next row was pulling out at the same time. We backed into each other, damaging both cars. The ADAS failed to activate the rear camera, automatic emergency braking, parking collision warning, and rear cross traffic warning. There were no injuries, so we didn't call the police; we exchanged insurance info. The other driver was also
... driving a Volvo, and the ADAS also failed in his car. The first thing we said to each other was, "What happened to all the Volvo safety alerts!" I called Volvo to report the incident, and we set up an appointment for an inspection. A few days later, the ADAS failed again when I was backing out of a space. A car drove behind my car as I was backing out and my car banged into the side of the other car. I could not believe that every warning system failed again and I reported it to Volvo. They conducted the inspection and reported no issues with the car. I requested a copy of the inspection, and they said they can't send it since it's proprietary information. I disputed that argument since it is my car and my safety at risk. The same day, I was notified of the urgent 2026 Volvo recall due to a rear-view camera failure that could cause a collision. In August of 2025 I purchased a Chevy MD 5500 from Paul Masse, Inc., in RI. From the time of delivery the truck had a serious shake while operating. Paul Masse, Inc., told me that the tires had flat spots from sitting on the lot prior to purchase. As time went on the dealership placed two new sets of tires on the truck. Neither set fixed the shaking. Paul Masse, Inc., told me that this was how the

I eventually sent a claim into the RI Dealer Commissioners' office. The commission acknowledged my claim and reached out to Paul Masse, Inc. Paul Masse, Inc., agreed to have their Executive VP, Bob Masse take the vehicle for a ride with me to see what was going on. After driving the truck with Bob Masse, he agreed to bring the truck in for further review. I dropped the truck off a day later, Bob Masse called me after his mechanics looked the vehicle over and told me that they would not be able to fix the truck, but they would offer a buyback if I agreed to take a new truck. I agreed to take the new truck. I had to finance a whole new truck, paying for more insurance, sales and registration taxes. The day I took delivery of the new truck it drove exactly as the old truck drove. In addition to the truck shaking like the old truck, the check engine light was on. I immediately called the Bob Masse, Bob told me to drop the truck off and they would have a look at it. After I dropped the truck off to the dealership, they had it for five days. Bob Masse had called me to say that the check engine light had been repaired, but they were waiting on new tires to come in, as they thought the shaking was once again from "Flat Spots" on the tires. The Apple cellular device has a damaged back glass and it is bent midway down the back of the phone (due to accidentally shutting the device in between a car door in 2023). When the apple device is turned on for extended periods of time, the damaged back glass gets extremely hot and vapor/gas comes from inside the device itself. To the best of my knowledge, this is the result of damaged internal c
... omponents (lithium battery). As time passes when this rare event occurs, the vapor is known to cause respiratory issues (breathing issues) cardiovascular issues (irregular heart rate) and mental distress is all associated with inhalation of these toxic vapors. With the windows rolled up in a vehicle, with a damaged apple device having no ventilation to exit the cabin of the vehicle, this rare event can very easily knock an individual unconscious. There has been multiple occasions where I had to pull off to the side of the road, just to rehabilitate myself and allow the vehicle to air out. On 3/05/2026, I was admitted into a hospital in Madison County Kentucky to be checked out for symptoms I was experiencing, symptoms that occurred directly after an apple device malfunctioned. The vapors are near odorless and are not visible to the naked eye, this rare incident has occurred multiple occasions in the past resulting in sustainable injuries. The Apple device has no warning light, No warning message and no warning at all regarding this issue. The manufacturer’s packaging/introduction booklet has no warning or instruction on what to do nor what to expect from a damaged device. I have submitted this information regarding the malfunctioning device on the company’s official website and I have spoke with a customer service representative regarding the issue as well.Read more

while traveling at approximately 80 mph with Full Self-Driving (Supervised) engaged, my vehicle experienced a simultaneous failure of the Full Self-Driving computer and the Media Control Unit (MCU) touchscreen. Without any prior warning, the touchscreen went completely black, and the vehicle immediately executed an uncommanded, sharp steering maneuver into the right lane. It was very apparent that
... if I didn’t take over it was going to continue crossing highway lanes and go off road. I have around 45k miles specifically on FSD and never has it failed in such an extreme manner. This sudden steering input put myself and other motorists at extreme risk of a high-speed collision or roadway departure. I was forced to physically overpower the steering wheel to maintain lane integrity and prevent a crash at highway speeds. The failure appeared to be a total loss of the vehicle’s primary visualization and automated steering systems, leaving me with no digital feedback regarding speed or surrounding traffic while the car was still in motion. Prior to this event, there were no warning lamps or symptoms such as GPS drifting or screen lag. I have since attempted a hard reset and a full power cycle, but the critical nature of this uncommanded steering at 80 mph suggests a systemic defect in how FSD manages hardware or software failures. The vehicle and its internal data logs are available for inspection upon request. This incident has been documented in the Tesla App under a service request for a full log review.Read more

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a serious safety issue involving my 2021 Kia Forte. Approximately one year ago, I purchased this vehicle used with approximately 56,000 miles. I have owned the vehicle for nearly a year without prior incident until a recent and significant failure occurred. While driving on a highway after work, the vehicle suddenly lost engine
... power. The RPMs dropped abruptly, and the vehicle began decelerating rapidly before completely shutting off. This occurred without any prior warning indicators, such as dashboard warning lights or messages. I attempted to restart the engine three times before it successfully turned over. Upon restarting, the engine produced a loud knocking noise that had not been present before. Since this incident, the vehicle has been unable to operate reliably. It will start and run briefly but stalls again after a short distance. The knocking noise persists, suggesting a serious internal engine issue. The vehicle remains in my possession and is available for inspection. Component/System Involved: The failure appears to involve the engine and/or internal engine components. The exact cause has not yet been diagnosed by a professional. Safety Risk: This failure posed a significant safety hazard, as the sudden loss of power occurred while traveling on a highway. This could have resulted in a serious accident, particularly if surrounding traffic had been heavier or less responsive. Inspection and Diagnosis: The issue has not yet been formally diagnosed or confirmed by a dealership or independent repair facility. Additionally, the vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, law enforcement, insurance representatives, or other entities. Warning Indicators: There were no warning lights, messages, or other indicators prior to or during the initial failure. I am submitting this complaint to report a serious and potentially dangerous safety defect involving the internal water pump design in the 3.5L Duratec V6 engine used in my 2017 Ford Flex. The water pump in this engine is mounted internally behind the timing chain cover. When the pump fails, coolant is not externally visible but instead leaks directly into the engine oil. This design prevents ear

On April 1st I had my windshield replaced due to a crack in the upper central portion of the windshield. When the glass place took the windshield off my car they found a burnt section in the headliner. The glass place reported it immediately to the Volkswagon dealership and asked the device person at the dealership to come look at the burnt headliner before they placed the glass back. The service
... person at the dealer did go and look at the car so the glass people finished installing the windshield but took pictures prior to installing the new glass. The dealership then reach out to me and asked to bring the car in ASAP. The car was dropped off a few days later for the service department at the dealership to look into the burnt headliner. After the dealer has had the car for 10 days VW Corp is refusing to conduct a full investigation to determine the issue of this burnt area. Concerned this car is a fire risk and unsafe due to wire issues or overheating elements around the windshield. The risk and issue is completely hidden in the car and not easily known about or identified during an event. Could put my house in jeopardy if fire starts while in my garage. Manufacture/dealership has inspected the car. Insurance is determining if they will inspect the vehicle or not. No warning lights or any indication this area was hot or hot even to burn the headliner.Read more

Windshield wipers don’t have the same amount of travel each stroke. Sometimes the driver wiper will contact the A pillar and sometimes it will be several inches shy of the pillar. I own a 2019 Jaguar I-PACE that is currently subject to a battery-related safety recall issued by the manufacturer. The defect involves the high-voltage battery system, which poses a potential fire risk and renders the vehicle unsafe to operate. Due to this recall, I have been advised that the vehicle is not safe to drive and should not be used. As a result, the vehicle is effectively unusable.
... This creates a safety concern because the battery defect presents a risk of thermal events, including fire, even when the vehicle is parked. The issue has been acknowledged by Jaguar Land Rover through the official recall. The vehicle has not been repaired because a complete and adequate remedy has not been made available. Jaguar Land Rover has inspected and reviewed the situation and has offered a buyback; however, the proposed resolution would leave me with approximately $10,000 in out-of-pocket financial loss despite the defect being manufacturer-related. There were no prior warning indicators that would have allowed me to prevent this issue. The problem became known upon notification of the recall. This situation has resulted in ongoing financial harm, as I am required to continue making payments on a vehicle that cannot be safely operated due to a manufacturer defect. Vehicle experiences sudden, intermittent loss of motive power, severe engine hesitation, and stalling while operating at highway speeds. The manufacturer (Audi) has acknowledged the intake manifold failure—which is a known defect under an extended 120,000-mile warranty—but refuses to remediate the consequential engine damage (carbon buildup) caused by the faulty manifold and a previous oil overfill incident at a certified dealership (Chapman Audi of Tucson). Despite a 12-month documented history of seeking repairs for these safety symptoms, the dealership repeatedly failed to diagnose the manifold defect, instead clearing codes and returning the vehicle to the road. This systemic failure resulted in a hazardous operating condition that now puts the driver at immediate risk of rear-end collisions due to unpredictable engine stalling. By refusing to perform the necessary top-end cleaning required to restore the engine to a safe state, Audi is knowingly allowing an unsafe vehicle to remain in service. This represents a significant risk to public safety and a failure to address a documented powertrain defect that compromises vehicle control.Read more
