On April 11 2026, I was involved in a serious accident involving my 2026 Tesla Model Y. At the time of the incident, I was returning home from my daughter’s event in downtown and had just entered my residential driveway. As I approached the driveway, I applied the brakes and slowed the vehicle. While momentarily stationary or near-stationary, I spoke to my wife, who was seated in the front passe

Upon removing my foot from the brake pedal, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly accelerated without any input . The vehicle proceeded forward and collided with my garage door. Notably, no collision warning alerts were issued, and no automatic emergency braking system engaged prior to or during the impact. Following the initial collision with garage door, the vehicle failed to stop and instead continued to accelerate into the garage, striking a refrigerator. The impact resulted in substantial damage to the refrigerator and caused extensive structural harm to the property, affecting the garage, adjacent living space, floors, and interior walls. The severity of the collision triggered deployment of the front airbags. At the time, my wife was seated in the front passenger seat, and my [XXX] daughter, along with her friend, was seated in the rear of the vehicle. Emergency services were called, I have forehead bruises and a burn on my hand from airbag deployment. My wife is advised physiotherapy for severe back pain and my daughter has since experienced ongoing emotional distress, nightmares.I am dealing with car and home claims issues for damages I am seeking a formal investigation into the cause of this incident, specifically addressing: 1)The unexpected and unintended acceleration of the vehicle 2)The failure of the vehicle to stop after the initial collision with the garage door 3)The absence of forward collision warnings and failure of automatic emergency braking . My 2022 Nissan Rogue has experienced repeated engine failures beginning at approximately 88,000 miles, including four separate incidents despite repairs performed at authorized dealerships. The vehicle exhibited engine knocking and drivability issues prior to failure. Nissan later issued a recall related to engine issues, and recall service was performed on January 29, 2026. The engine failed ca

The recall inspection appears to have been limited to a computer scan and did not identify the underlying issue. This raises concerns that the defect may not be properly detectable through the current recall procedure. I am reporting this as a potential safety concern due to repeated engine failure and loss of confidence in vehicle reliability.Read more

I bought this car new from Davidson's in Rome, NY in early March 2026. This is a 2026 model. Two days after I took possession, I noticed that the spare tire well was halfway full of solid ice. The car has a severe leak through the back right side window. The dealer states it needs to be replaced. The interior frames of the car were loaded with water for many weeks as it stood on the lot. Had
... the dealer done a final inspection of this car prior to transferring ownership to me, as they should have and stated they did, they would have found the solid ice that surrounded the spare tire and investigated the leak and repaired it BUT they would have been required to tell me of this leak I assume...if so, I would never have bought this car. They had the car in the shop now for 3 weeks as of today, April 20th, 2026, and no word on the resolution. They did give me a loaner car for use. They have to dry the car out completely and dehumidify it as well as replace the window that leaked. The risks going forward is to the internal wiring, mechanicals, etc. due to static water exposure for many weeks prior to the sale. Had the dealer done their job with prior inspection, this could have been avoided. I asked them for my money back and they refused so I am stuck with a brand-new car that was essentially flooded with rainwater because the dealer did not do a final inspection prior to my accepting ownership of it. The dealer confirmed the vehicle sat on their lot approximately 70 days before the 3/23/26 delivery date and that washer fluid is factory pre-filled. This indicates the leak was active for approximately 70 days before delivery, during which washer fluid leaked above the ICCU and surrounding electronics. Repair required complete interior disassembly — seats, carpet, center console, floor trim — on a 156-mile brand new vehicle. A full floor wire harness was replaced under Hyundai Techline authorization. Soaked carpet and insulation were salvaged outside rather than replaced. Hyundai Motor America declined to proactively replace the ICCU despite documented fluid exposure above it and denied an extended warranty request covering affected electronics. Safety concern: internal corrosion from extended fluid exposure may not present immediately but can cause sudden loss of drive power — a known ICCU failure mode on this platform subject to multiple prior recalls. Loss of drive power at highway speed poses serious safety risk.Read more

Multiple Wheels (9) have been replaced and multiple tires. Have had to repair each of these wheels upwards of 20+ times and it’s not allowed legally after 3 cracks per wheel. So my truck has the abs module part that has failed on it. Over the time it’s failed we have seen things go out on it that directly relate to safety being a concern. First is the fact that sometimes the brakes fail completely and cause concern that I might hit another vehicle or person. Second is the issue of the truck very rarely accelerating without driver interaction this is a safety issue be
... cause the uncontrolled speed could cause additional accidents. Lastly is the issue where the truck will very rarely go into an undesirable gear will driving resulting in immediate action to be taken by the driver. All of these incidents were taken up with multiple dodge dealers and Stelantis motor corp without action taken on their part. All parties have stated that repair is impossible due to lack of availability. When asked to provided assistance to get truck repaired at a different location without cost to driver, driver was told no. My 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk (Active Drive II / Sales Code DK4) has a confirmed DTC C14A7-97, indicating the PTU Motor is obstructed or blocked. This has resulted in a "Service 4WD" warning and a complete loss of all-wheel-drive capability. My vehicle was manufactured in November 2013, and I am being denied the XJ1 Extended Warranty (15 years/unlimited miles) because my VIN does not appear in t
... he dealer's system, despite the vehicle being a 2014 model year with the exact failure code the XJ1 program was designed to address. This failure can lead to a sudden loss of drive power while in motion and a loss of the "Park" function, creating a significant rollaway risk. These are the same safety hazards identified in NHTSA Recall 20V-343 (W47). I am requesting that NHTSA investigate why 2014 model year vehicles with 2013 build dates are excluded from the XJ1 warranty extension for this known safety defect.Read more

While completing a turn at a T-intersection, the vehicle experienced a complete loss of motive power for several seconds, leaving the car stationary in the path of oncoming traffic. The transmission (10R80) failed to engage, a known symptom of internal CDF Drum sleeve failure (TSB 24-2254). This follows a 'Green' inspection by a dealer on March 23rd where an axle seal leak and shifting issues were
... overlooked. The failure to engage gear during a turn creates an unreasonable risk of a T-bone collision.Read more
