When coming to a stop the truck has a very spongey pedal, in order to stop the vehicle you must allow for the stop by applying brake way in advance to be able to stop. I was driving my car home from work and many warning lights lit up on my car dashboard (brake problem, engine problem, uphill start, steering problem) etc.. I got off the freeway and my car dashboard lit up and notified me “to pull over to a safe location because my car needle (temperature) was on high. I pulled over to a safe location and opened the hood and noticed that the antifreeze coolant
... compartment was empty) my car could have caught on fire because there was no coolant inside the compartment. After I got home and filled the car with coolant I placed cardboard under the car engine to see if the coolant would leak. There are no signs of leakage. I took my car to my mechanic and he told me that he couldn’t fix the problem and suggested I call Honda USA customer service. The mechanic told me that the problem is with the “head gasket” and that the coolant does leak into other parts of the engine. He didn’t charge me anything for the inspection and added coolant to my car. I called Honda USA customer service and they told me that there are “no recalls” regarding coolant leaks and head gasket problems. I googled problems with “Honda 2016 civics and learned that there is a problem that exists and it’s very costly to fix. I also learned that Honda was sued in Canada and Honda settled with customers regarding this problem. Honda USA simply told me to take my car to a Honda dealer and ask for an “inspection” I asked if they would cover the cost and they didn’t not say they would pay for the inspection. This is a manufacture problem that occurs after a Honda Civic has gone past 70,0000 miles. People still complain about this issue and wonder where the coolant in the car is leaking and where is the coolant going into since the coolant is not visibly leaking. The coolant is making its way within the engine and causing more problems in my car. I have never had a problem like this one. This is the second time that the coolant inside my car leaks into the engine.Read more

After one hour, the dealer stated no issue was found. A battery diagnostic was requested based on a documented case of an identical 2025 S5 with the same symptoms traced to a faulty 12V battery. The dealer declined to cover the diagnostic under warranty. The service manager later acknowledged these are known platform issues and confirmed a software update is expected from the manufacturer in July 2026. The vehicle already has the latest available software update (TSB 2079690, KD2, version 03.10.00/C) installed and the problems persist. The dealer has confirmed there is no current fix available. I purchased the vehicle with approximately 56,000 miles. Within 2–3 weeks after purchase a “traction battery fault” warning appeared. I took it to a dealership, which said it was a battery module fault. They replaced defective battery cell under warranty (repair value ~$7,000–8,000). During the same initial period and continuing after the battery repair, the vehicle exhibited intermittent
... AC charging failures. It would begin Level 2 charging sessions and then terminate them prematurely. This includes both the Level 2 charger I installed new at my home upon purchasing the car, and commercial Level 2 chargers. The home charger would repeatedly show a fault that the vehicle was ending the sessions. Over the following months, the condition progressively worsened from intermittent to near-total loss of AC charging capability. The vehicle can still DC fast charge. Dealer diagnosed the failure as a defective BCCM requiring replacement at a cost of approximately $6,700. This is a known and documented issue: Jaguar has issued TSB SSM75883 (NHTSA Document MC-10227452-0001) addressing I-PACE vehicles unable to charge with BCCM fault code U3000-49, and TSB SFCC Jul20_11 (NHTSA Document MC-10178140-0001) for the 2020 I-PACE specifically. The vehicle cannot be charged at home or at any AC charging station, rendering it effectively inoperable for normal daily use.Read more

Vehicle has two open unrepaired recalls: T59 (NHTSA 17V-572, brake booster water shield) and V62 (NHTSA 19V-813, fuel pump relay). The brake booster is currently symptomatic — an audible humming noise is present when the vehicle is stopped and idling, consistent with vacuum loss in the brake booster system. The dealer never followed up regarding the rental. Instead, the dealer contacted me to appraise my current vehicle and discuss new vehicle inventory. The recall work was never discussed. When I did not appear for the appointment, the dealer did not follow up or offer to reschedule. I then contacted Stellantis customer service directly and explained the situation, including the active brake booster symptom. The Stellantis representative connected me with a second dealership, Bill Snethkamp Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Woodward Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, then disconnected from the call without notice. I was left explaining the situation a second time to a dealership that informed me they do not provide loaner vehicles. The rental option requires me to pay out of pocket upfront and then seek reimbursement from the manufacturer in the form of a check. This is not a viable option. Additionally, this dealership is located approximately one hour from my residence in Flint, making it logistically impractical for recall service. I am currently driving a vehicle with an active safety defect affecting the braking system. The recall remedy language states that limited braking ability can cause a crash without prior warning. a recent software update (5.0.10) altered the acceleration on the car. There is now a 2+ second delay to acceleration to the car once the pedal is depressed if you're not wearing your seatbelt. [XXX] [XXX] / [XXX] [XXX] 2010 Toyota Sienna Possible Shifter Interlock Failure: On [XXX] my [XXX] child found his way into the driver’s seat of our 2010 Toyota Sienna while the vehicle was parked in the driveway. According to my wife, there were no keys in the vehicle, and the vehicle was in park. In an instant, my wife (who was outside the van) helplessly observed the van begin to roll

She said she heard something like grinding gears. I presume my son was trying to put it in park. Thankfully no property damage or personal injuries occurred during the incident. I [XXX] ) was not home when this happened. When I returned home, I inspected the van to see if my son was able activate the emergency shift lock release. I found the cover was intact and evidence of tampering was not observed. I then checked to see if I was able to pull the shifter out of park. Initially, I was unable to, but after a few tries and a little force, I was able to pull the shifter out of park (no keys in ignition, no brake compression, vehicle off) and the van began to roll. Our driveway is somewhat sloped. I replicated this procedure several times: a little force and a little wiggle and clunk, the shifter released and the van rolled. I discovered there was a recall for this very problem on 2010 Sienna’s (NHTSA Recall No.: 17V-657). Vehicle Information • Make/Model: Nissan Rogue (2026) - purchased as a lease in August 2025 • Mileage: 7,810 • VIN: [XXX] • Date of incident: 4/20/26 • Location: Highway travel (Pennsylvania) Engine stall / sudden loss of power while driving While driving my brand new 2026 Nissan Rogue at approximately 75 mph on a highway, the vehicle suddenly and completely stalled without warnin
... g. The engine lost all power while the vehicle was in motion, resulting in an immediate and dangerous reduction in speed. There were no prior signs of malfunction before the stall. The vehicle became unable to maintain highway speed and effectively lost propulsion while in active traffic conditions. This created a serious safety hazard, as the sudden loss of power at highway speed placed me and surrounding vehicles at risk of a collision. I had to maneuver the vehicle to safety while attempting to avoid traffic. The vehicle is brand new and should not experience a complete engine stall under normal highway driving conditions. This incident raises a significant concern regarding a potential defect in engine performance, fuel delivery, transmission control, or electronic power management systems. Because the failure occurred at highway speed without warning, it represents a critical safety risk that may affect other drivers if it is a systemic issue. Actions Taken After Incident • Vehicle was brought to dealership / service center • Case opened with manufacturer (Nissan) • The vehicle was towed and currently getting the engine replaced I am requesting that NHTSA: 1. Review this incident as a potential safety defect 2. Determine whether similar complaints exist for this model/year 3. Investigate whether this issue warrants a safety recall or manufacturer investigation 4. Ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence I am reporting this to ensure it is documented and reviewed as part of national safety monitoring. ... d they could not find anything wrong. The problem continues, including incidents on 04/20/2026 and 04/23/2026. This creates a serious safety hazard because the vehicle can lose power in traffic and increase the risk of a crash or injury.Read more
