On [XXX] at approximately [XXX] pm I was at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. When the light turned green I attempted to make a left turn. The Jeep was in E-Save mode, but the gas engine was not on at the time. I stepped on the accelerator, but the vehicle moved very slowly through the turn, no matter how hard I pressed down on the accelerator (electric motor engaged at this time). I feared
... that I would get struck by other vehicles due to the very slow rate of speed. When I cleared the intersection, the gas motor finally turned on and supplied me with the required amount of acceleration. Weeks before the vehicle completely shut down, my car began stalling and shutting off in traffic without warning while driving. I was usually able to turn the vehicle off and restart it, and it would come back on temporarily. At red lights and stop signs, the vehicle would power down, stall, jerk forward, and then begin moving again when I pressed the accelerator. On 05/01/2026, while stopped at
... a red light on my way to get gas, I noticed the vehicle vibrating unusually. I made it to the gas station, filled up, and drove away. However, as I entered a heavily traveled highway, the vehicle began shaking uncontrollably and completely shut off in traffic. I was unable to restart the vehicle and had to have it towed, and later towed again to a Kia dealership/service center. The diagnostic codes identified were: * P0014:00 – Exhaust Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced/System Performance (Bank 1) * P0017:00 – Crankshaft Position/Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor B – Exhaust) * P0303:00 – Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected I am extremely concerned because the vehicle is only about four years old, and I purchased it a little over a year ago. I have previously taken the vehicle to Kia for recalls, including recalls related to engine issues. Based on my research and the symptoms of my vehicle, I believe the recall involving the piston oil rings may be related to the camshaft and crankshaft issues now occurring. I am concerned this may represent an additional safety-related defect or recall issue that has not yet been fully recognized by Kia. I am submitting this complaint to bring awareness to this issue and request that a proper investigation be conducted before more drivers experience a dangerous failure in traffic. I would also like to request direct follow-up regarding my specific vehicle and this incident. Due to the seriousness of the failure and the safety risk of the vehicle shutting down in active traffic, I believe my vehicle should be reviewed as part oRead more

While traveling at approximately 55 mph under normal road conditions, the rear tire experienced a sudden and catastrophic failure. I felt the tire fail first, followed by an immediate loss of stability. The tire split down the center of the tread without warning. There were no prior symptoms, warning signs, or handling issues before the failure. During the loss of control, I then felt the rear of
... the motorcycle drop further. After the crash, a rear suspension linkage component was found to be cracked at the mounting point. It is UNKNOWN whether the linkage failure occurred before or as a result of the crash sequence, but it was not felt prior to the tire failure. The tire, 180/55ZR17 73W, had been installed in August and had less than 1,500 miles of use. Tire pressure was set to manufacturer-recommended levels prior to operation. The failed tire is available for inspection, and the damaged rear linkage component remains on the motorcycle. The failure created an immediate safety hazard, resulting in a crash and injuries to a passenger. The motorcycle sustained severe damage and is considered a total loss. No prior warnings, messages, or indicators were present before the failure.Read more

On 8/23/25 at approximately 7:20 PM, the vehicle approached a red stoplight in a turn lane to merge onto the highway, the car began to shake violently and the brakes functioned only minimally, not allowing the vehicle to slow down/stop as expected. The vehicle eventually came to full stop, however, given that there was another vehicle in front us that was stopped, there very easily could have been
... an accident, putting myself, my husband, and 3 year old son, as well as other vehicles, at risk of an accident/serious injury. The car, thereafter, functioned normally. The car was taken into the dealership, however, they stated that they could not duplicate the issue and there was nothing wrong with the braking system. There were no warning lights displayed on the dashboard. Upon further investigation, it appears other Hyundai Palisades have had similar issues, some resulting in serious accidents/injury, however it does not appear that the dealerships or Hyundai have provided any answers or ability to fix this issue.Read more

The contact's mother owns a 2026 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while his mother was driving 30-35 MPH on a well-maintained road, the front passenger's side of the vehicle suddenly lowered, and the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the rear passenger's side of the vehicle to strike a curb, and the vehicle was pushed towards the left, near oncoming traffic. The contact
... stated that the vehicle nearly rolled over prior to coming to a stop. The driver was able to exit the vehicle. A Police Officer arrived at the scene and redirected traffic away from the vehicle, but no Police report was filed. There was no injury sustained. The contact stated that upon meeting his mother at the scene, the contact inspected the vehicle. The contact noticed that the front passenger's side lower control arm ball joint had fractured sharply, separated, and had gone sideways. The vehicle was towed to an Auto Collision repair shop. The dealer was notified of the failure and reported the failure to a Chrysler regional manager. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. While driving my 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback XSE, I lost almost all power to my accelerator and a check engine light appeared on my dash. I came to a stop and stalled the vehicle, once it stalled I turned the engine back on and shifted into reverse a felt and heard a loud clunk noise coming from right under my car and its not only shifting into reverse is the loud noise active but its also shift
... ing into drive from reverse. I scanned my vehicle with a aftermarket scan tool and got 2 exact same codes for "Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit Performance/Stuck Off" and then two more codes for "Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Actuator Stuck On". My torque converter in my CTV transmission failed. I was not at a risk of putting other people or myself in danger but if would have if i was moving faster at the time this happened. I have done my research on the recalls that are active on this vehicle and on the Toyota OEM TIS website there is only 1 recall that was taken care of in 2021 for the fuel pump and then there is a Warranty Enhancement Program for the Flow Shut-off Valve Coolant Leak. I did not find anything on that Toyota TIS website about the CVT recall but when i search my year, make and model on the web, I see that there is a recall for about 3,400 vehicles in the USA and nearly 1,000 in Canada that have a active recall for the CTV. I also saw the recall consequence and it matches up with what happened with my Corolla. I have attempted to contact 5 difference Toyota dealerships in my state to have them help me figure out the issue I am having with my vehicle not being listed in the recall but my CTV just failed. No one has reached back out in the past two days and I am continuing to call almost 3 times a day. I would like some clarity on how I should go about handling this issue.Read more

This company triple-confirmed my hitch compatibility prior to me purchasing but upon delivery and installation, can't confirm that it's a safe usage and want me to pay a 20% restocking fee to return their brand new product, which they guaranteed would work. I used their online compatibility tool to determine the correct hitch for my situation. I then called on two separate occasions to confirm al
... l measurements with two employees over the phone before making the purchase. I triple-confirmed compatibility with the manufacturer before placing my order. Once I received it and installed it, the overall clearance for the hitch was only 6" above the ground. I emailed them to ask if this was considered safe usage of their product. They wouldn't answer until I literally asked them three separate times, as if they were avoiding answering the question to try to get me to keep the product. After I made it very clear that I needed them to directly answer my question in the third email, they said that they could not tell me if that clearance was safe or not. After these three emails, I was starting to get scammy vibes...so I did some online research myself. Everything is very clear online...you should have 11-13" of clearance to tow a trailer safely. Why wouldn't a hitch manufacturer, who obviously should know this, not tell me that? The only answer I can come up with is that they'd rather prevent the return of their product than ensure the safety of one of their customers.Read more

The ABS system in this vehicle flashes warnings at quick restarts and while holding the brake down, it has no “sponge” when this happens. The brakes squeal constantly. ... always, but it is noticeable when it happens). At first I didn’t think much of it but with the mass recall of chevys identified, I believe it needs to go on record - particularly about the brakes.Read more

In cold weather, generally below freezing, the tailgate of the 2019 Titan will not open. When attempting to open the tailgate, the latch is lifted up, but the tailgate will not open. However, once the temperature rises to high 20's, low 30'sF, the tailgate will open on its own. I believe lifting the tailgate latch puts this sequence into motion. In the first incident, I tried to open the tailgate
... in cold weather, it would not open. Then, while traveling down a highway, the tailgate opened by itself resulting in several large toolboxes spilling out of the bed and onto the highway. I was not aware of this until I got to my office. The truck was taken to a Nissan dealer who replaced the electrical and mechanical tailgate locking mechanisms (under warranty) in January 2024. Now, in January 2025, with the recent cold spell in the northeast, the tailgate again would not open. And as before, later the tailgate fell open on its own (thankfully there was noting in the bed of the truck). I took the truck to the same Nissan dealership and explained that tailgate problem was not fixed. The technician looked on her computer and, I am quoting, said to me "this is a common problem". I asked if there is a safety recall on this issue and the tech told me "no". Nissan stated I would have to pay for the fix this time as it was over a year since the last time they [failed] to fixed the tailgate . This is a serious safety concern in that the tailgate can open unexpectedly while the vehicle is moving allowing the cargo to spill out into moving traffic. Please issue a safety recall immediately. Nissan knows this is a problem and will not act on it! I stopped at the local police department and explained what happen. I went to the police to see if anyone picked up any of my tools I lost and gave them to the police. Not a single tool was turned in. I lost several hundred $$ of tools due to the tailgate opening. Thankfully, I don't believe it caused any one to damage their vehicle.Read more

Hello. My vin number is not showing unresolved recalls, but I believe it is based on my experience. I was parking my car, which involved turning my steering wheel all the way to the right, and heard a crunching, clicking sound. I did some teoubleshooting, and believe it is the clock spring giving out. What concerns me is 1 of the 4 recalls in particular. Infiniti recalled the 2017 and 2018 QX
... 30 compact crossover SUV due to a potential for the driver's airbag to deploy unexpectedly. The recall was issued due to a grounding issue with the steering components that could cause an electrostatic charge to build up. If the airbag clock spring broke, the driver's side airbag could deploy accidentally, which could result in a crash or injury to the driver. When I called Sewell Infiniti in Dallas, TX, I was told they had no recalls showing for my 2017 QX30, and to look at it would cost $240. I am currently not in a place financially to be able to afford this, but am concerned for my safety. I bought this car used from Carmax, but have since taken it to Sewell Infiniti for service and repairs. Please advise the best course of action as I am truly scared to drive my car due to this potentially deadly situation.Read more

As many others have reported, the Brake Accumulator has failed. The symptoms began at 100,000 miles. When reported to the dealership, was brushed off as not a safety concern. It is, indeed, a major safety concern. My partner had the ABS lights come on and brakes freeze up while driving on a fast and congested highway. Furthermore, getting this repaired is nearly impossible. The only Toyota deale

They simply push to buy a new vehicle instead of standing by one that should be operating normally. The dealership is Miracle Toyota of North Augusta SC. We pressed on the brakes again and the car accelerated even faster crossing the sidewalk crashing into a bu

I was about 2 hours away from my destination in NC when the temperature to high transmission light went on again and I had to pull over on 795 again becasue I was scared. I shut the car off for a half hour on the side of the road praying no one would hit into me. I turned the car on, and the light went off and a few minutes later the transmission system problem light came on. I was afraid to get off an exit as I was unfamiliar with the area, so I drove at 55 mph in a 70-mph speed limit. I made it to Wilmington and called the Stevenson Hendrick Honda Dealership there and they could not see the car until Tuesday 7/18 the light was going on 7/15. When I brought it to the dealer the light was off. They told me my Honda Pilot that had only 49,000 miles on it needed a new transmission to the tune of $11,000. I find this to be absurd. I was able to talk them down in price and was without a car for the entire week I was in NC. I opened a case with corporate, but they won't return my phone calls. I could of died pulling off to the side of major highways with the speed the cars were traveling at.
